Purgatory: Get Used To It (PM for Invite)

The silence from the group of convicts gathered at the scene were most probably just a confirmation that the warden and her methods instilled fear and docility. Nobody dared to express a different opinion, certainly not after the sudden execution that just had taken place. She were just about to turn around and head back to the shuttle when one of the prisoners made a rash move that caused a moment of minor chaos. Her first thought was to intervene and instinctively reached for the stun baton, but the guards quickly got the situation under control and wrapped the man into a straitjacket. Being caught up in a riot out here were not something she had intentions to when she signed up for the mission.

She gave the warden a simple nod before turning back for the shuttle. Along with the correction officers that had escorted and handed over Causstic to the prisoner guards. She could imagine what awaited them inside those walls. The jails back on Coruscant were probably like bed and breakfast compared to this place.

The Amalgam meditated in the darkness of her stealth yacht, an X-70B Phantom Class called The Corrupted Flesh, a pentacle of blood and black candles surrounding her in her circular quarters, nearly every inch covered by photos of Uri Udinia, better known as Maple Harte. She had been delving deeply into her daughter's side activities and those of her companions whenever possible.

But Uri, surprisingly for the vile shapeshifter, had not been on The Amalgam's mind, despite the constant presence of her photos.

No...what was on the Amalgam's mind was the fate of the now former Queen from Commenor, Kay Arenais. She had escorted Kay to a planet to the graveyard not long back and had returned...changed. not just because Kay's situation, at how life seemed to do nothing but dump trouble on her hit close to what was left of her heart. The Amalgam didn't care about her so called victims...mere cattle that had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The point was...Kay was now in the place The Amalgam once occupied...the metaphorical gutter.

And she had been seeking guidance from her patron spirit, The Brain Demon, as to how to proceed. Kay had power, locked away, but still there. She thought the empire mad for casting her aside. She could do more with Kay, would do more if she had her way.

"Unholy Spirit..." she rasped, arms crossed and pressed against her shoulders, eyes rolling in the back of her head. "I seek guidance on the one called Kay Arenais."

YouwantthelovelyKaytoembraceme... hissed the spirit in the darkest recess of a rotting soul.

"She has nothing. She will die in a cell if they have their way. If ever there was a time to convince her to truly embrace the Bogan, now is that time, Unholy Spirit..." The Amalgam answered.

Youthinkofherasafriend... the spirit accused.

The Amalgam didn't really have a counter to that. The concept of a friend was a new and ugly one to her. But Kay, if she was not a friend, was close enough that functionally the result was the same.

"I think it would be a waste of good resources and power..." The Amalgam said confidently.

The Brain Demon laughed in the blackness of The Shi'ido's heart.

Byallmeansconvinceherifyoucan...

The Amalgam grinned. It was time to see just how cherished Kay's morality was when there was no point to acting moral any longer.

Her, Kay, Uri, Laertia...they'd make such a team, if she could drive them all to the happiness of the darkness. But The Amalgam knew not to start counting kybers yet. There was still the problem of actually reaching Kay...

A week later...

Purgatory Prison...a so called impenetrable prison.

Like she had never heard that one before...

There is always a hole to sneak in through. Always.

And when one is an alchemized Shi'ido like the Amalgam, the hole is usually a guard.

Specifically, one with no relatives or spouses, with an injury that had put them out of commission for a month, to return when possible.

She'd put the moves on this particular guard, a musclebound one named Donny. She'd isolated him at a club on Commenor, wearing something revealing. A black cocktail dress could move mountains.

After tricking him into following him aboard, the Amalgam had violently ripped all his knowledge of the prison out of his skull, then drained the life afterward, shifting into him and cruising out that remaining day before taking the route to the Prison in his vessel. She wasn't worried about detection as she dressed in his uniform, looking and talking like him...she had gotten her Zygerrian contact, Terrax, to help her fabricate a specialized military jammer concealed in her body, capable of fooling almost any military issue scan as to whether or not she was human, her going so far as to supplement this with the dark magic of the Brain Demon as well as her own stealth skills.

Getting inside on his ship had been simple...she knew everything about her victim, so mimicking him had been easy. But the security really wasn't a joke. Even though she had beaten the scans, she had no way of knowing how long that jammer or her magic would be effective. It could be as little as a few days or even only a few hours before she'd start setting off red flags so getting to her, and ascertaining her interest in the dark now that she would always be a killer in the eyes of others was paramount.

Three security checks. Then another five. She began to get nervous a little more but hid it. Purgatory...these people had no idea what purgatory was. Purgatory was the underworks. And the Amalgam had long since decided to just flat out go to hell. This glitzed up handcuff was just another lock. A clever one. But all locks can be picked.

She had forced herself to maintain character...Donny had been sharp witted, and full of geneality to his fellow guardsman, and being forced to smile and joke with others as she arrived and changed into her equipment for the prison was torture to her. She could act, but she hated acting. Much easier to just fry them, but it would endanger her...friend...she sounded that word in her head again as she walked deeper into the high tech facility, being greeted politely, sometimes enthusiastically her co-workers. All of them were snacks to her.

Let this prison try and hold Kay from her, she thought as she punched in her card as Donny, walking into the high security cell block armed with Donny's baton...the place was covered with cameras...but it mattered not. She was not leaving her sort-of friend in this place to die in a metaphorical gutter...she'd died gutter deaths before. They weren't fun.

The freighter that held Kay landed on a smaller landing pad, one meant for high priority visitors. Given that the arrival wasn't on schedule, the display that [member="Lucinda Larr"] had put on for the inmates was already at an end. The inmates were already being shuffled back into the prison walls to continue on with their day.

The A.I. program that Kay referred to as V.P. or 'Vacation Planner' activated the android body that he used for the physical realm and sent his consciousness into it.

PaltryAlarmingAchillestang-size_restricted.gif

He entered the compartment that held the former Commenori Queen. "We have arrived at our destination. It is time to live out your sentence. The Elders would be pleased that you have chosen this course of action."

Kay merely looked at the mirrormask but said nothing. What was the point? This was her fate, and no doubt after her broadcast was seen by everyone, that fate was already sealed. But maybe it wouldn't be so bad...

Once escorted off the ship by V.P., she saw Purgatory for the first time. Until now she had never even heard of the place, but wasn't surprised about it's existence. The shouts of inmates fighting greeted them when they walked inside. Security checkpoints stopped them multiple times as they made their way to the high priority cell block.

Well, at least it smelled okay. For a prison it was actually pretty clean. For this part, anyways. Where the general population was held could be an entirely different matter.

The armed guards brought her inside an awaiting cell and only then were the shackles and chains removed. The collar carrying the small voidstone remained in place. V.P. kept close by as to ensure that everything was followed to the letter. A bright yellow jumpsuit was folded on the bed. One of the guards pointed at it while he spoke. "Put on the jumpsuit and leave your clothing by the door for disposal. Someone will be by to pick it up shortly."

Kay took one more look at V.P. before stepping inside the small cell. She wasn't going to try to escape. Whatever for? She was a convicted murderer. If she had been falsely accused, it'd be a different story. But she wasn't. She had crushed the hearts of the Elders when Prazutis had brought her back home. But she was a different person then. Her mind was broken and altered by much of her memories being removed. Yet that didn't matter to V.P. What mattered was that she had gotten away with it.

But not any longer.

Seconds later V.P. was on his way out. He didn't need to see the Warden [member="Lucinda Larr"] . Everything that was needing to be communicated was already accomplished. The android body exited the prison and walked straight to the pit, deactivating itself as it made the final step that sent it tumbling over the edge.

V.P.'s mission was complete.

Purgatory prison was a nuisance of epic proportions. Security tightened with no cause, beyond the money funnelled into the place’s denizens. Planet below would be no help in our escape. Others… there would be others. Until escape could be procured, my mission was the most integral part of the op.

Keep Kay sane, protected and alive. Yasha, I hoped we could have gotten to Kay before she entered the fething prison. Most of the issue was finding the right access point. The hatches, maybe, but stealth was the crux of my entrance to Kay’s side. Nothing for it.

The containment suit was insultingly thin against my naked skin. It would do long enough to get me from the ship to the prison itself, and from there identifying clothing was the last on a long list of supplies.

I’d rather have a gun, but no such luxury was afforded to me.

I triggered my comm beacon, stygium-lined ship still cloaked in the space above. The closest Mandalorian would get the sudden burst signal. The message of Yasha calling for her Aunt’s freedom, and me descended to the prison itself. Amazing how one engineer’s multitool and a thin containment suit was enough to undo a single panel on the side of an exhaust port. Once inside, the containment suit sloughed away from me like a snake shedding its’ skin. My limbs sunk into my trunk, face elongated until my form became that of a long and thin Sundari Viper. I slithered through the ducting, into the engineering sub-decks, hiding still in the wires while engineers and guards busied with the prison.
The right conversation. The right smell flicked upon my reptilian tongue.
There. Clothes in a guard’s hand. A muttered conversation between guards, and I had my trajectory. My target. Using my tongue to taste the air for Kay’s aroma, I wound through the duct work until her hair and body clad in yellow met my sight. Body thinning, I slid down the wall as my colouring shifted to match the wall.

“Do not jolt, vod.” A hissing whisper. I curl myself along Kay’s leg and stomach, wrapping round her as once more I attempt to match the colour of my skin with the yellow jumpsuit. “Our niece desires her Aunt more than this prison desires justice. Survive with me, and live out your exile in the shadow of Manda’yaim.”

Warm. Kay’s body was warm. For the moment I could do nothing but wait for an opening out of her cell, to slither out and take the form of a prisoner… if we got that far.

Kay had gotten changed into the yellow jumpsuit, leaving her clothing at the door as requested. At least she had some amount of privacy when she had changed. But privacy in this place was probably going to be short lived.

Silence. Silence was her companion now. Perhaps in time she'll crave it, if the fights that she had heard earlier were anything to go by. Yes she could defend herself to a certain degree, but that defence tended to rely on the Force or at least a weapon. Here she had neither of those. Only her words, her ability to negotiate could be of the most use for her now.

"Do not jolt, vod."

The whispered words didn't surprise her enough to make her jump. Yet when she felt a nearly invisible creature wrap itself around her, Kay held her breath. It was only until there was a mention of [member="Yasha Cadera"] that she released her breath. "Oh my dear sweet niece...I cause her such worry..." Kay wanted to sound as though she was just talking to herself. One never knows who might be listening. "I will make it up to her, for every kindness she has shown me and for every time her people have risked their lives for me." And there were plenty of those times.

And now she had sent a shapeshiter. Kay had come across only one of them that had belonged to a Mandalorian Clan. And that was [member="Ambrose Cadera"] . He had hunted her along with some others during a friendly game of Capture the Flag. Could the creature wrapped around her be the same one? Right now she couldn't be certain. But it was possible.

Adenn didn't comment on the lack of reaction from [member="Lucinda Larr"], stuff like that death most happen more often it seems. As teh guard(Freeman) looked at him, Adenn merely tilted his head sideways studying him. However, when they all began to go in, Adenn stayed behind a minute or two. He had gotten a message from his ship, the Aegis Eternum, that another shuttle was coming. Wondering who it was, Adenn waited to see it arrive.

When the shuttle arrived, it was farther away from where Adenn and Gunner where standing. Thanks to the zoom function on his helmet though, Adenn could see who came out of the shuttle. When he looked, he was surprised when someone who looked like Lady Kay exited the shuttle. A moment later though and she was gone, and Adenn was left wondering if he had really seen her or if it was someone else. Ignoring that then, Adenn decided to enter the prison then.

As Adenn entered the prison, he was supposed to be subjected to a weapons search and strip. They didn't want any prisoners to get the weapons after all. However, after some "persuasion" from Adenn and Gunner left two guards on the ground with only a single punch, the rest wisely backed away. No doubt though they'd send a report to the Warden and any high ranking guards. Adenn gave them a message himself, hopefully it'd be passed on so they wouldn't have any further issues.
"Don't try to take a Mandalorians weapons, or that Mandalorian will take your life."

With that little problem dealt with, Adenn made his way into the prison a few more steps, and turned the corner. Once around the corner, he received a message, one from the Mand'alor herself, delivered via comms by [member="Ambrose Cadera"]. It told that Lady Kay had been captured and sent here, to Purgatory, and that Ambrose Cadera was there as well. Adenn cursed, so he had seen Lady Kay enter the prison from that landing pad. he cursed again under his breath, now he'd have to get her out, and that would cause all kinds of problems.

Deciding to chance it, Adenn sent a burst transmission back. It was encripted and said in Mando'a, but made to seem like another language. All so that it couldn't be intercepted, or understood. The transmission read, "Vod will come soon. Stay safe, for Mand'alor."

With that out of the way, Adenn had to decide what to do. Thinking for a minute, he finally decided to head to the Wardens office and request a visit to one of the prisoners, specifically Lady Kay. Nodding, Adenn motioned for Gunner to follow him before making his way to the Wardens office. Once he arrived there, Adenn knocked on the door requesting to enter.

To say that Lucinda wanted to be disturbed couldn't be more wrong. She favoured schedules and order. The knock at her door was unplanned, unwanted and out of her control. She hated being out of control. It was her pet peeve.

Still with the arrival of unexpected inmates and plenty of credits going into her coffers to house them, Lucinda wasn't going to allow herself to get too mad.

She set down her caf on her desk and walked over to the door, opening it. Her left brow slightly lifted as she saw two Mandalorians standing there. After a small tilt of her head, she opened her door wider to allow [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and Gunner entrance into her office. "Welcome to Purgatory. What can I do for you gentlemen?" From what she could surmise, it could be one of two things. Either they were here for a job, or one of their bounties had made their way to Purgatory and they were wanting to get them out.

My tail flickers against her knee. Warmth through the thin jumpsuit eases against my skin. I keep my voice to a hiss, vibrating against her as my head slithers to her left ear.

“Home. She asked that you come home. I must keep you safe from harm.” A single line of whisper in basic, so quiet it existed only between the two of us. “Lives risked freely.”

Here I will wait, with [member="Kay Arenais"]. If I have to, I will stay through her entire prison sentence... but then, a few words whispered in Mando’a hit the specialized MBE-II in my ear.

[member="Adenn Kyramud"] was here. The hiss which curls from my forked tongue to Kay’s eardrum is nearly delicious.

When a seemingly hopeless situation percolated, a Vod’s call was all a good Mandalorian needed. Family is our most sacred of testaments and trials. That one of our number was put in prison for conducting herself in battle is one more opportunity to prove our devotion to Manda.

“We remain.” A simple message to let Adenn know I am in position.

“Friends abound. You will not serve long.”

[member="Lucinda Larr"]

As [member="Lucinda Larr"] opened the door for them, Adenn inclined his head to her. When she opened it wider for them to enter, they did while listening to what she said. Looking around the office, Adenn got the message from [member="Ambrose Cadera"] then. He nodded his head as if in thought before turning his head to the Warden.
"Indeed Warden. You can help me in several ways."

At that, he took a holopad out of his back pouch pocket. Looking it over, he found the name he was looking for. Looking up at the Warden he spoke once more.
"My friend here," Indicating Gunner, "wants to see a particular prisoner. One Sio Bolt, imprisoned for war crimes, he was brought here awhile back by Mandalorians. We want to make sure that he's "comfortable" and we also have some questions for him."

Gunner chuckled at that and in a low voice spoke.
"Oh indeed." Cracking his knuckles, Gunner chuckled. "Just some friendly questions about his friends."

Adenn chuckled as well before continuing as well.
"Along with that. I saw that one Lady Kay)[member="Kay Arenais"]) arrived recently. Lucky me I suppose, I'd like to meet her. I have some, let's say, unfinished business with her."

With that, Adenn crossed his arms across his chest and looked to the Warden awaiting an answer.

Home. [member="Yasha Cadera"] wanted her to be brought home. And by that she knew that her niece didn't mean Commenor. She meant in Mandalorian space. Kay was sure of it. Would she be able to set foot on Commenor again? That remained to be seen. After what she had done, there was little doubt that she'd be exiled for some time. If anyone else had killed the Elders, they'd of been exiled swiftly if they had managed to escape custody. So there was little doubt in Kay's mind that she'd be arrested upon setting foot on Commenori soil.

Here she was not alone. Here she was protected, despite the place that she was in. [member="Ambrose Cadera"] was sent to be sure of it. She wanted to hug him, but the fact that he was entwined around her in this form was enough. There'll be time for the warm embrace of her Mandalorian family later.

Guilt had hit her then. The part of her family that she had been adopted into to save her world had been sorely neglected by her. She did help them out when she could. Ever since Ra had died and Yasha took over, things had gotten better for them. Now maybe it was her time to embrace that part of her that she had kept away for so long.

A nod was all that she had given Ambrose in response. She won't be here for long. With luck that'll mean that she won't be executed either or killed by a fellow inmate.

Hopefully that luck would be on her side.

Apparently her guesses were wrong. Both [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and Gunner were not here for bounties or for work. They were here to question a couple of inmates.

Lucinda walked over to her desk and grabbed her datapad. She went through her files, looking up Sio Bolt first. Given that he was brought in and being paid for by the very people that were in her office now, she nodded her head. "Permission to see Sio Bolt is granted. I'll have him brought to an interrogation room for you." She quickly whipped up the order. "I'll have an escort take you down momentarily."

And now for the next on the list. Lucinda's jaw clenched as the file was brought up on [member="Kay Arenais"] . "Your second request requires payment. She is a VIP and the risk that goes along with that is very high." Lucinda couldn't allow anyone the chance to escape. It would ruin the reputation for Purgatory that she had worked so hard to build.

Assured that any retribution on interfering with [member="Kay Arenais"] would be immediately delivered, I uncoil and let my muscles relax into the body heat around me. With hopes we could share the resources allowed in the VIP cell, until [member="Lucinda Larr"] tosses her into another containment.

Will there be others who would save Kay? Will I be working triple with no cover to protect her and bring the Mand’alor’s Aunt home? My serpentine head nuzzles into her neck, covered by her hair if any dared to look.

Thank Manda the yellow jumpsuit she wore was loose. I whisper in her ear, images of Manda’yaim, of the garden worlds Yasha was creating. There’s bits of news - her Grand-Nieces and Grand-Nephews growing bolder and more beautiful. Rugged, warriors in training the lot. A person’s mind in prison was a shallow pool, easily rustled and hard to fill.

Small images of home, prolonged over time would help one keep hope. That, and I desperately want to avoid babysitting the twins for at least another month.

While [member="Lucinda Larr"] walked to her desk, Adenn looked at the office once more, taking it in with his helmet 360 degree camera. Then he focused on her once more as she spoke. When she said that Gunner could see Sio Bolt, Gunner inclined his head to her in thanks. However, the both didn't say anything, [member="Kay Arenais"] was the more important of the two. Adenn couldn't help but notice how the Warden clenched her jaw at the mention/sight of Kay. It seems there was some sort of history there.

When she asked for payment, Adenn tilted his head in amusement. It seemed the for-profit reputation this prison had was well warranted. Then, grinning behind his helmet. Adenn reached behind his back, and into the pouch there, he pulled out a high denomination credit chip out. A credit chip worth 10 thousand credits. Lifting it up to show him, Adenn spoke.

"I'll pay you this, 10 thousand credits, if you let me see her and do me a favor." Grinning behind his helm, Adenn continued. "Deactivate the cameras inside the interrogation room. Audio off as well would be good, but you might not accept it. This way, you won't know where the bruises come from. As I said, unfinished business. I need to repay her." Adenn tilted his head in slight amusement, waiting for an answer.

Kay closed her eyes as [member="Ambrose Cadera"] seemed to relax his grip on her. The tension of her situation seemed to be slipping away. And with his serpant face so close to her ear, whispering of so many good things that she could look forward to, she found herself calming down.

Years ago [member="Yasha Cadera"] had visited Commenor, arriving at the Palace. Her eyes were filled with such wonder at the gardens and artwork throughout the grounds. No doubt it had inspired her to improve some of her own worlds.

"I'd like to see it all with my own eyes some day. After I have paid my debts to society..." There was still the matter of what she had done that had put her in Purgatory to begin with.

At least she wasn't here alone.

10,000 credits? That wasn't very high. Lucinda was about to refuse, most especially as [member="Adenn Kyramud"] wanted a favour on top of it. But then he let her know what that favour was. For the cameras to be shut off so that injuries can be inflicted upon [member="Kay Arenais"] . Now that was another form of payment that she could enjoy.

For any VIP, it was best that certain visitations with the inmates were nkt recorded. She didn't need evidence of brutality and sometimes even death to be found. And although Lucinda would LOVE to watch some of the inmates get what's coming to them, she had her own ways feeding into that desire by instigating fights among the lesser inmates.

Lucinda held out her hand for the credit chip. "Who am I to stop you from seeing to your unfinished business? Be sure to be quick about it. Escorts will be waiting just outside of the door as a precaution." Both to protect the Mandalorian, as well as to prevent Kay from escaping.

"Is there anything else?" Already the escorts were arriving to Lucinda's office, fully armoured guards wielding Force pikes. Two groups of four waiting to take both to fulfill their requests.

More checkpoints. Feth. Some military bases aren't this paranoid. She endured each scan, each camera trained on her, mimicking relaxation.

Multiple eyes were focused on her as she showed Donny's credentials to operate in both the main section and elsewhere in an emergency. The guards were trained to look for anything out of place. Anything out of place would likely result in a shoot first ask questions later scenario. It reminded her of the underworks about a half century after the plague. What law enforcement that was functioning had especially harsh checkpoints in areas so crime ridden even her civilian self would never have dared to operate in them.

She remembered the frisking, the requests for identity, felt the electric fields generated by hand held scans. Felt the familiar terror of not knowing if a checkpoint guard would decide to detain you no matter how much checked out. Uncomfortably, she recalled the filthy rags she wore in those days as they cleared her past the scans.

She already saw some prisoners fighting rival gangs, and did nothing to interfere. She'd heard the stories about this place. It was the same everywhere. The galaxy never ran out of these places. The Amalgam never stopped hating them. The thought of [member="Kay Arenais"] spending the remainder of her existance out here reeked of unfairness. It would have been amusing, if The Amalgam wasn't so uncharacteristically infuriated by it. The amusing situation of someone like her, who kills thousands, and never spends a day in jail, coming to rescue someone who kills, what, three people under duress? The names of whom the average person would forget in a week or so? Kay gets life for something basically everyone who was anyone was doing these days? Rediculous.

She stopped as she walked through the main block, the oppressiveness suddenly getting under her skin as she watched what looked like a special detail armed with pikes march through. VIP escort. The Amalgam, inbetween doing her mimicked victim's patrols along the block, kept an eye out for them, the angry, desperate eyes glancing from every corner reminding her of every parasite that had ever stolen her bread in the works. She would have loved killing them. But even with her dark power she would be outnumbered. And it would put her...friend in danger.

Did the Brain Demon care about her sentiments? It could be sometimes a hard thing to read. She could not let sentiment cloud her judgment. But wasn't that already happening just being here?

The Amalgam taking any sort of risk like this for one besides Uri (And maybe Laertia) was unheard of. Nobody had cut her a break. But Kay made her break this rule so quickly. She was powerful, that was part of it.

But more to the point, Amy would have someone to talk to once she got Kay out. The joy of company...

She felt increasingly hollow, only being alone on her ship with her photos. Until Uri came around and joined her, what she knew had to be passed to someone. Kay seemed as good a choice as any...provided she'd had enough of being the proverbial tool.

The Amalgam wasn't quite sure what to say. How do you address royalty in ruins? How to convince someone to re-embrace what they had once ran away from? Properly, this time? One had to play it by ear with the brainy types. Get too mocking of her despair and she might cling to virtue out of spite...

"Give me a sign..." she whispered with Donny's voice to the Brain Demon

Adenn noted how [member="Lucinda Larr"] nearly refused, before she accepted. It seemed 10 thousand wasn’t enough, but the promise of hurting [member="Kay Arenais"] finished the payment. Tilting his head forward, Adenn placed the high denomination credit chip in her palm. Chuckling lightly as she spoke, Adenn nodded along.
I’ll make sure to be quick, but painful.” Gunner nodded his head then too.

Then Adenn shook his head to her question for anything else. He merely said thank you, and bowed his head in thanks. With that, both he and Gunner exited the Wardens office. Both Gunner and Adenn observed the guards waiting for them before glancing at each other. They could prove troublesome, but eventually easily dealt with should it come down to it. Then, clasping each other’s arms in a warriors’ salute, they parted ways. Adenn on his way to Lady Kay, and Gunner to Sio Bolt.

Lucinda closed her fingers around the credit chip. "See to it that you do. And you'll not get into trouble for it, I assure you." She had ways of hiding things from others. This was her prison afterall. The only information that gets out is what she lets out.

After the two left, Lucinda deposited the chip and went back to work. For now she'd watch through the cameras. That is until the cell of [member="Kay Arenais"] was reached. The cameras out in the hall would still be on, but within the cell they wouldn't be. Unfortunately. Yet she would delight in seeing the bruises later.

The guards awaited [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and Gunner, seperating into their groups of four once they came to a junction in the hallway that would take them to the different sections. The group walking to Kay's cell walked past [member="The Amalgam"] , yet they seemed to ignore him. Instead they kept to their task, a pair up front and a pair in behind the Mandalorian. It was for both his protection as well as their own.

Through heavy doors secured with passcodes and keycards, the group made it to the VIP section. Continuing down the quiet hall, small windows offered visitors glimpses inside of the private cells. 317 was the cell number containing [member="Kay Arenais"] and the hidden [member="Ambrose Cadera"] as well. One guard stopped at the door and peered inside to look at the camera. Once he saw the red indicator light go out, he unlocked the door. ~Five minutes.
That's all that you get. Starting now.~
He then stepped aside to let the Mandalorian in.

Taru was brought into a room by the guards which surrounded him after his little break, and the two who were holding him upside let go of his feet. His head hit the floor at an awkward angle, but otherwise there seemed to be no rush to things. He was dragged across the room into what seemed like a stall, but from his vantage point on the ground it was all confusing. The room was a sparkling white, with the walls seemingly both enclosing but also roomy. The floor held some blotches of darker white, and it was pretty obvious what it was. Blood.

As he started to move around a bit, the guards let go of him and backed off. This surprised him greatly, as he had actually gotten used to having at least three guards watching him at all times. They did not remove his straightjacket, but the cuffs were taken off. As he began to blink away the brightness of the room and started to refocus his sight, he was blasted with ice cold water. It shoved him into the corner, and then a second hose was powered on, drenching him from the other side. He was locked into the corner, by water. It was cold, wet, and worst of all he was still clothed. Nearing the end of this freeze hosing, he had his arms pulled apart by chains as one of his guards took off the straightjacket which for the most part secured Taru's arms. It hadn't helped earlier though... As he was finally disrobed, he got another powerful "washing". Then without even being given a chance to have the water fall off of his body, he was forced into what seemed to be a yellow jumpsuit. This prison was too bright, too many vibrant colors. Something was odd.

He was also given a new straightjacket, with this one having chains from the elbows to the shins, to tighten the jacket and restrict movement even more. He was marched through what looked like a basic cell block, and then past two more. He was forced to climb up a flight of stairs and down another corridor, where at the end was a row of high security cells. Taru was not in a maximum security cell, but it was a "high value" one. As he was marched to there, he was stared at by all of the inmates who resided in the normal cell blocks. They seemed to be gambling and calling bets, but he couldn't make out about what they were arguing about. As he entered his cell, he was locked in, and left for the most part alone. Within minutes of being placed into the cell, Taru shimmied his way out of the straightjacket and laid it out neatly on the floor. "When's food comin?!" he said, and then got to work, preparing himself in the event that someone would check in on him. If they did, then they would be in for a nice surprise, and that warden would have a high value prisoner on the loose...

Adenn nodded his head in acceptance to what she said. If he got in “trouble” for this, it wouldn’t be from the authorities that she expected. No, it’d be with Purgatory and whoever had sent Lady Kay to prison in the first place. Shaking those thoughts from his mind with a grim smile, Adenn followed the guards. As Gunner and Adenn separated, they nodded to each in respect. What would follow for both of them would be dangerous, but hopefully worth it.

As they walked, Adenn noticed a guard that was speaking to himself ([member="The Amalgam"]), he didn’t hear what it was but it certainly peaked his interest. However, he couldn’t just stop to and talk, no he had to keep going. As they walked, Adenn noted his surroundings, and all the security measures in place. It took some time, but they finally arrived at a cell before they stopped. Adenn noted the number, 317, that meant he’d have some distance to go no matter what happened.

Listening attentively as the guard spoke, Adenn nodded his head. 5 minutes, not much time, but more than enough for what Adenn had planned. Hopefully he’d be able to pull this off without too much trouble. Looking at the camera himself, Adenn noted that the camera was indeed off. Thanking the guard, Adenn quickly stepped inside the cell and waited until the door was closed. Looking around the cell, Adenn quickly noted [member="Kay Arenais"], but didn’t spot the [member="Ambrose Cadera"]. That was good Adenn supposed.

Looking back at the door, Adenn quickly removed his cape and placed it over the doors window, as an added precaution. Speaking to calm the guards, he said.
No witnesses as they say. She’ll live, don’t worry.

With that said, Adenn turned back to Lady Kay and once more spoke loudly. At the same time, he signed to [member="Ambrose Cadera"] and Lady Kay, should she understand (Words are in “” and signed is italics). But first, he put a finger up to his T-visor in a be quiet motion. Then he began to pace in front of her.
Hello again, Lady Kay.I’m here to help you, I can’t get you out now, but I can give you some stuff. No doubt you don’t remember me, but I remember you.Apologies, but I will have to use this, Adenn showed her an object, to artificially bruise you. You’ve wronged me Lady Kay, and for that you will pay.

Adenn then walked up to her and whispered.
I have an audio recording pre-recorded, it’ll scream for you.” With that said, Adenn turned on an audio recording from his helmet. The recording started slow, but it began to pick up. First, there was the sound of punches, and muffled groans, more punches and some light screaming. The recording would slowly get worse, but not to the point of breaking thing, only bruises and the like. Ignoring that though, Adenn started speaking quietly once more to Lady Kay while pulling some items out.

I can’t get you out just yet Lady Kay, but I can help give you the means to escape. Wherever [member="Ambrose Cadera"] is, he should be able to hide some of this for you.” With that said, Adenn began removing several items. Among those being, a small knife that could be hidden easily and wasn’t detectable. After that, he pulled out a small Arikyrzium Crystal, it had an effective range of 1 meter, and could disrupt force abilities. Next, he pulled out a comms unit, that would go to Ambrose so that he could have a direct line to Adenn and any other Mandalorians. Hey, better safe than sorry.

With that done, he laid them out for Lady Kay or Ambrose to hide. Looking at his timer, he saw that he still had 2 and a half minutes left before he would be called back out.
Hide those quickly, you most likely will need them in the future.” With that said, Adenn offered a device to Lady Kay. It was the bruising device. Once used, bruises would start to appear, some big, others small, but all over the place. “I’ll let you possibly place them somewhere closer to home.” Adenn motioned at her body then. Having said that, Adenn turned his head around, searching the cell and observing the door.
