- Good for Dinners, Drive In's and Dives: A nice leather jacket is just that. Finely made and fitted to Atom to not restrict movement, nor hinder him. Built with the specific idea of acting much like a blast vest, just looking stylish while doing so. Secondly, Most weather conditions will be fine to wear this jacket in.
- Scum of the Underworld: Most typically, Scoundrels, Smugglers, and even soldiers carry blaster or laser based weaponry. As such, Atom has a jacket that uses various textiles, and materials that can aptly defend against such weaponry.
- Under Dressed: This is just an upgraded blast vest, with the shell of a leather jacket. Not much more than that and a couple pockets. For any kind of real battle scenario, Atom would be much better with an actual suit of armor, or have additional layers over the top or under this.
- Not the Time of Day: A black leather jacket is not that great for very hot conditions, or desert conditions such as tatooine. Wearing it can more easily progress natural occurrences of Heatstroke, Fatigue, etc. Secondly, in severe cold weather, it would be best to get full gear and prepped for it, rather than just a jacket.
Picking up the man with both hands from the collar, his back against the wall and pressed hard. Why would such a being be in a scenario? He attacked. He sought to end the life of another without their consent. For that, he would pay dearly. Hands and fingers gripping hard onto the jacket. Attempting to pull himself closer for better control over his predicament.
Failure was his reward. A quick release of the right hand, and sent hurling into the face. Specifically the nose, and eye socket. Fragile was the connection of cartilage and tissue around that area. A broken nose was very possible. Black eye and bruised cheek were certain. Fumbling around within his own garb, the ringing of a hold out blaster was met with silence. Dropping the individual with any attempt to fight back.
A fist to the helmet, Once, twice, Three times before a reaction came swiftly. Metal hand to the throat to crunch down on his windpipe. Face in bewilderment as a lack of a dying man before him. Gargling through his dying breaths of dismay, doubt of the strike he had attempted to perform. Lack luster was it in execution. Gripping the blaster he so dearly held onto with an empty hand, barrel shoved into the soft flesh of the pelvis. Firing once, twice, three times before slamming his head into the wall.
The body, no longer a living man, fell to the ground with a slump. Exited his soul from the trap that was life. Adjusting of the jacket to reveal blaster mark around the bottom of the ribs. Yet no pain could be felt. The jacket had performed well. One could only assume recommendation came for whoever came with the idea to make such a jacket.
Time to go home and clean it.
