DESCRIPTION
The creation of this amulet was for the Benefactor to have a way of storing the spirits he collected from battlefield both during or after combat. The spirits inside could be harnessed to become a variety of things such as servants, soldiers, pilots, bodyguards, or anything else that a person could become or do. With use of the Force, the amulet could be used to conjure horrifying phantasms capable of making those with no connection to the Force stop dead in their tracks from fear. If put in the wrong hands, it could create a nearly unstoppable army, with the only way of defeating it the destruction of the amulet.

If you could link the cortosis
This sounds like a method to harness force walking which bound spirits to a user.
As this does use the force it will need the weakness about nullification effects.
A artifact like this would likely be vulnerable to force light.
Nothing is largely indestructible. Even force enhanced beskar can be destroyed with enough power. Cortosis isn't the strongest material and against a sabe it can be easily countered with a change of circuits.
