Telembraum
Planet Mykrr
High Desert Borderlands

She was a white planet made from sand and ash. Mykrrr. Just another lost globe amongst the system's of the Rimma Trade Route. Modern science gave her life where previously there had been none. Now palms grew out from the underground oasis and water trickled forth from her dark canyons. One day this planet might breath life more fully. Until then however? She was just another lost borderland world filled with prospectors and outlaws. Karen's favorite.

Telembraum was the capital city of the Desert Faction Cartel. A loose affiliation of red-cloth Corsairs who aimed to claim new territory and rebuild their mineral empire anew. They dressed like Sand-people and flew all sorts of broken down aircraft across the wastes. Searching for rocks to mine, gems to sell, and treasures to steal. The usual cutthroat affair of scavenger worlds. They lived on the fringe and prospered. Claiming everything they came across with red sails and red banners. Covering the desert with blood and guns.

Competition is always tough too. Recently the Desert Faction had butted heads with many smaller outlaw bands in this hellish waste. From science geeks to barbarian warlords, the white sands were full of aggressive expansionists. Even with the underground wells in abundance? Nothing could stop the coming war. Faction after faction would struggle to make this empty planet their home. And were there was war, there came mercenaries. Warlords like Karen Roberts of Denon. A woman who was only too happy to smash a few heads and take home the coin.

To her and to them. This was a planet of rare opportunity indeed.

Telembraum Marketplace
High Noon

Roberts mulled about the Telebraum Marketplace. Clad in her heavy armor, helm and all, she looked through the long stalls for places selling relatively useful goods. She was out shopping today to celebrate her companies latest victory against the recent Boss Skull Raiders. Just another group of warlords aiming to crush the Desert Factions hold on the lower wastelands. RnR had made short work of their warbands with a few good airstrikes however. There were few things that a torpedo can't solve these days. Turning around and coming back for the leftovers. Claiming their salvage and their sweet-sweet loot for their own.

Karen stopped near the Guildhouse and looked over the most recent firearm trades. Doing her best not to look completely bored.
