Caveat emptor
The Tapani sector is one of the richest sectors in the entire galaxy, with a wealthy economy based on exports of luxurious products, but also research and development in applied sciences at Shey Tapani University. For once, a dominion will not be centered around resource acquisition or combat, but politics. This will be facilitated through Tapani's elaborate noble houses system.
Currently, the capital Procopia is under the rule of house Mecetti which now technically oversees the entire sector through coalition with the Great Council. House Mecetti is distrustful towards the Alliance and holds sympathies towards imperial style government, now The First Order. House Mecetti is lead by High Lord Tywill, who recently ascended to this position following the untimely death of his father Gluhus. Tywill suspects his father was poisoned by house Pelagia, as retailiation for Gluhus' sacking of Pelagon twenty years ago.
House Pelagia is lead by High Lady Imogen who recently returned from studying at University of Theed. She is stubborn and inexperienced, but a pacifist with potential to become a great ruler. House Pelagia leans towards the Gallactic Alliance and would like to see the entire sector join their fold.
The stage is set on Procopia, during the height of the Capital season in the middle of the summer. Tywill hosts a masked ball in Leocald Opera House. All guests are expected to come dressed in elaborate costumes with custom made masks covering their faces. The ball itself is known for its decadence and lascivity. It is a night of freedom of expression, without boundaries...
As for the objective: kill or be killed.
Tywill plans to assasinate Imogen, she plans to assasinate him. A perfect opporunity, when everyone is masked. However, Tywill brings friends from FO and Imogen from GA. How long will the game be played before all masks fall?
Since this is a DM'd story, Imogen and Tywill will be playable.
