' Project Tion: Epilogue '

~

It was near the turn-of-the-ninth-century, at a clandestine meeting held above Minntooine, where a project of equalled secrecy was formed under the auspicious reign of the late Liraeth Deschart: a disgraced monarch whom took over the Imperial Confederation following the signing of accords that saw to four of the Imperial Remnants unified into a singular collective, for a brief time, between the years of 902 to 905 ABY.

This project, which was named after a world called Tion, was formed in order to pursue the revitalization of IMPERIALISM in the Outer Rim Territories following a significant decline in political, economic and military power after the collapse of the Empire of the Lost and defeat of the Dark Empire in that same year. It's founder, who was a suspicious woman of no name, no rank and known only as the Warden Primus (head of a security division umbrellaed by a dissolved commission established by Karl von Strauss in New Aldera) would go onto convince key figureheads across the four states of the Imperial Confederation that an invasion of the Thandon Star Cluster was a necessary stepping stone towards the revitalization of Imperial power.

Three years later, with the Second Occupation of the Outer Rim Territories coming to it's end, a peculiar non-profit organisation (believed to have been founded by that same individual) delivered a letter to the former Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces to arrange a meeting where they were set to discuss a swath of assets leftover by the same project which was responsible for the incursions into the Sith vassal state who bordered former Imperial space.

With arrangements made for the meeting to go ahead via holocomm a peculiar satellite (located in the Naboo system) begun broadcasting across subspace through Imperial encryption protocols to transmit the elusive Her before Commander Sularen...

FINAL DAWN
CHOLGANNA, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

The collapse of both the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Confederation was yet another major setback for the Imperial cause. In the wake of Planetshift and the massive shift in the galactic balance of power, the Imperialist movement had the best opportunity to re-establish itself as the primary force of order in the galaxy, but now with their failure, the galaxy was left to the whims of the Sith, Mandalorians and the Republic/Jedi. Still, even then the Imperial cause persisted, albeit in a weakened state, reduced to a handful of strongholds at the edge of the Tingel Arm.

Since the collapse of the Confederation, Marlon Sularen had been allowed to reflect on his failures with both the Dark Empire and the Imperial Confederation and examine what made his rivals more successful than him. At the very least, the near-total collapse of the Imperialist movement was the perfect opportunity to turn over a new leaf, and this time successfully re-emerge as a powerful force in the galaxy. It was for this purpose that Sularen had re-established the Final Dawn, to serve as the ultimate vanguard for the reunification and revitalization of the fragmented Imperial movement.

When Sularen received a letter from the Imperial-aligned non-profit organization known as Vūm, he was quite intrigued by its contents, but more importantly, he was quite curious to learn more about this organization that he knew so little about yet which held a high degree of interest in him and how they could contribute to the Final Dawn, given their interest in restoring Imperialism to a place of primacy in the galaxy. Thus, when he received a request for a holographic meeting, Sularen simply obliged, answering the holocall from his office within his military headquarters on Cholganna.

"This is Supreme Commander Sularen. To what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting?"

"We are writing to you today with the request for a meeting (to be held via holographic communique) regarding a series of outstanding engagements that require new arrangements (or liquidation) to be made (at your discretion) following the SITH-MANDALORIAN incursion in the LIANNA SYSTEM eta " STARDATE: 040226 "..."
-- The beginning of Vūm's letter to Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen .

"Thank you for, finally, responding to our request," Her spoke into the Vigilance transmitter after Sularen, at last, responded to their hails. "My offices are contacting you today regarding our letter, which was sent to your office some weeks ago, regarding outstanding issues, recoverable assets, and the foreclosure of several spaces that would be in the best interests of the Imperial cause."

As Her spoke she paced slowly around the innards of the cell that had become their place of incarceration ever since she had landed in Shiraya's Sanctuary. A smug, sly smile formed on Her's face as she continued to speak into the transmitter while imagining to themselves how the Jedi Council were in the false-belief that they had done anything to stop their work.

"I would like to begin our conversation regarding the fate of the headquarters for the Nargath and Umbrella Corporation, specifically, their Liann branch which was attacked during the recent destruction of Lianna City," Her continued to say. "The building also served as the H.Q for my offices and that of the defunct Santhe Corporation who recently closed in the aftermath of the Yaga Minor conflict. Their C.E.O was a casualty of the war..."

FINAL DAWN
CHOLGANNA, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

Sularen listened as the individual on the other side began to speak about important matters that would be in the best interest of the Imperial cause, starting by addressing the fate of various Corporate headquarters that were attacked by the Mandalorians and the Sith during their devastating assault on Lianna. The attack had been a major blow to the remnants of the Imperial Confederation, given how valuable the Tion Cluster was for the Imperial War Machine, with the critical infrastructure lost there having yet to be replaced. It also didn't help that the Santhe Corporation had fallen into decline as a result of the death of their CEO Eirys Santhe, during the Mandalorian invasion of Yaga Minor.

However, as the individual kept speaking, the Supreme Commander couldn't help but wonder what Vum's angle here. He still knew little about the organization, which appeared to have been connected to various organizations and institutions that had played a key role in the Imperial Confederation, such as the Santhe Corporation and the Imperial Corrections Directorate. He couldn't help but wonder what their ultimate motive behind being involved with the Imperial cause was and how exactly they could help advance the Imperial agenda.

"It's a shame what happened to Eirys Santhe." Sularen responded. "The Santhe Corporation had been a valuable partner for the Imperial Confederation, and her departure has left a huge void in the Imperial military-industrial complex," he proclaimed. "That being said, I don't understand what value the old N&Z regional headquarters on Lianna has, given how they have already been destroyed during the brutal Sith-Mandalorian attack against the planet."

Marlon Sularen said:
"It's a shame what happened to Eirys Santhe..."

Her pursed their lips thoughtfully as she listened to Sularen. As Eirys' name was brought up by the Supreme Commander, Her took the moment to consider the deceased Liann industrialist and their contribution to the work. As it was when the Empire of the Lost fell into economic ruin (eventually leading to the formation of the Imperial remnant cell colloquially known as the Imperial Sector Authority), the partners and associates that Her had either acquired or leveraged as contributors towards the end of the Sith vassal state, regarding their health, status or losses, were of no consequence to the Rule of Two.

Whereas Sularen bemoaned the loss of such a person (given their expertise and family legacy to the Imperial cause) Her felt indifference which bordered on the line of apathy as it came to the death of Eirys Santhe. Quietly she understood why someone like Commander Sularen would feel that it was a great shame that, among the other people that were lost after the fall of the Imperial Confederation, the loss of Santhe Corp's C.E.O was another blow to the Imperial cause, but as it pertained to the motives of the Dark Lord whom Sularen was in conference with, Her did not share the same thoughts or feelings.

Indeed, it was of a far greater shame that they could not capture Brosi twice-over. But Her would never tell Sularen that as alienating the Supreme Commander was no in their best interests.

"My offices do not share your assessment of the Neyrix," Her retorted as Sularen moved to dismiss Vūm's concerns regarding the former headquarters of the two-key corporate entities in the late Imperial Confederation. "We possess a source of information who has made it clear, at least to me, that the Sith Order have come into information that we believe stems from the Liann headquarters of the Santhe and Umbrella Corporations."

"I cannot direct or interfere with your station as Supreme Commander,"
Her continued to say to Sularen as she tried to persuade the Corellian into making a move to clean-up about the Liann attacks by the Sith-Mandalorian alliance. "However, sensitive information, corporate data, and other concerns may have survived the attack on Lianna City. This is particularly true given that our source has confirmed to us certain pieces of information that certain members of the Sith Order should not have available to them."

Lowering their brow to their wrist, Her checked the time on their chrono as she spoke. "I am afraid time is of the essence, Supreme Commander. We have many other items left to discuss on our agenda today. If the Final Dawn are not inclined to clean up the Neyrix then there is nothing left to be said on the matter. Shall we move onto item two concerning the factory prisons in the Tion system?"
