[*]Defenses: High

[*]Hangar Space: Average: 4
[*]Hangar Allocations:
  • Starfighters: 3 squadrons (Droid Starfighters)
  • Support Craft: 1 squadron

[*]Maneuverability Rating: Low
[*]Speed Rating: Very Low

STANDARD FEATURES
O/S Cresh
Standard Power Core
Standard Communications Array
Standard Sensor Array
Standard Targeting Computer
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Advanced Droid Brain
Corellia Digital CD-X Encryption Key

Strengths:
  • Unmanned, Autonomous Defense Platform. Requires no manpower or additional resources to sustain operation.
  • Slicer Resistant Design. Encrypted communication protocols and O/S Cresh operating system made it difficult for a slicer to get inside the mainframe without a hard line connection to the computer.
  • Hardened Target. Layers of physical and electromagnetic defense screen against attacks, allowing the orbital platform to continue function even after receiving significant damage.
Weaknesses:
  • Limited Self-Repair Capabilities. Onboard droid corral allows astromechs to see to any required maintenance, but self-repair capability is severely limited.
  • Orbital Asset. Damages requiring a technician or replacement parts will see significant costs and delays due to the need for getting a technician to the orbital location and in position for spacewalk to make the actual repairs.
  • Droid Controlled. It's slicer resistant, not slicer proof. A hacker who gets inside the machine could turn this against its owner.
  • The Master-Slave Control Circuit. The station is the control circuit for the droid starfighters, organizing the swarm into a cohesive battle strategy. The destruction of the orbital platform or loss of the control signal will cause the starfighters to shut down.
  • Repositioning Time. Because it is designed as a relatively fixed station, the S.W.O.R.D. is sluggish to shift orbital position.
  • No Hyperdrive. These units are either dropped into orbit by other ships or, more commonly, assembled on locations and then either disassembled or destroyed if leaving a planet or location.
DESCRIPTION
Project S.W.O.R.D. was another product of the continuing business relationship between Sor-Jan Xantha and Agents of Chaos, represented by his long-time associate, [member="Scherezade deWinter"], who commissioned the product. Intended as a defensive measure for the artificial environments that housed the people represented by the Chaos, the Space-Warfare Orbit Rotational Defensive Platform is a fully autonomous battle droid that operates as a orbital defense platform.

The S.W.O.R.D. boasts impressive firepower that is above average for class. Long-range turbolasers allow the satellites to engage targets from beyond the typical engagement zone. At the same time, the S.W.O.R.D. deploys both electromagnetic and physical safeguards that insulate it against attack, making one a hard target to destroy. Two squadrons of droid starfighters can also be launched from docking points along the body of the station, coordinated by the droid control program into a comprehensive strike package.

As with any Corellia Digital product, the S.W.O.R.D. illustrates the company's cutting edge technology in the field of autonomous weapon systems; however, the S.W.O.R.D. demonstrates all the vulnerabilities of droids. Ion storm, slicers, and computer viruses all present real dangers to these assets, which no safeguard can ever completely protect against.

Looks good. Particularly dig the unusual aesthetic and design. Only point of contention is that you're low on the support craft allocation. As per present factory rules, you need to allocate a minimum amount of vessels in those as dictated by the base figure. In this instance it would be calculated from the 750m size rating (we always round down sizes).

Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
  • 750 Meters: [Base: 1 | Very Low: 2 | Low: 3 | Average: 4 | Moderate: 5 | High: 7 | Very High: 8 | Extreme: 9]
Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
  • Starfighters: x squadrons
  • Support Craft: x squadrons (Minimum squadrons lists should match the squadrons listed for the "Base" rating for ship its size)

As you can see from the above, this means you are required at least one squadron of support craft. The good news is that with your current ratings you can actually boost the Hangar up to Average without sacrificing elsewhere. This would allow you have a potential of 4 squadrons to assign over all.

Entirely up to you.
