Project Rogue

Miss Blonde

Back at the workshop again, more phrik and more armor. These were the thing miss blonde generally enjoyed doing with her free time when the kids were at school and Jarven was away. Recently life had been returning to normal for her and she was almost ready to slip back into her original identify of Patricia, but for now it was about time to start crafting and getting everything ready.

She'd been planning a recent line of armors for a more worthy phrik auction this time around and she was looking forward to it, however before that was to take place she needed to build up her catalog of phrik related products. She'd recently finished the reclaimer armor system for her husband and had two extra suits laying around. So she figured why not make a lighter variant of the armor. This was going to be a fun little project for her and it was dubbed Project Rogue.

The woman stepped into her workshop to see all her supplies laid out for her, the ingredients in which would come together to create the rogue. She'd be a liar if she didn't say she was a little excited.

First thing first was was to take care of the phrik that was loaded by the smelters, she had to melt down the ingots to create three suits. Snapping her fingers she looked over to her team of droid workers and waved her hand over at the phrik bars stacked on the pallets.

"Load the smelters and bring the phrik to a boil please." Patricia said as she walked over to her crafting table.

While that was happening she had some sewing to do, the rogue design came with a hooded cloak and this was mostly for cosmetic purposes but everyone did enjoy a good hood every now and then to keep the rain off your visor or elements from getting to you. So as the droids began to throw the phrik ingots into the smelter the woman prepared her hoods.

"Be sure to keep everything at a good temperature!" Patricia shouted back towards the droids.

Taking her cloth the woman began to run the canvas material through the sewing machine, with a few snips from a pair of tailors sheers she cut and shaped the tough cloth into shape and sighed. She wasn't a big fan of sewing but it was a lot better than going through the helmet layers.

"Where's my god damn pin cushion?!" Patricia yelled to one of the droids angrily.

Soon a worker droid ran to a supply closet and came rushing out with an empty pin cushion for the woman, it placed the piece of fabric and fluff down and Patricia gave a friendly nod towards the droid in thanks before sending him back off towards the smelters.

The woman continued on the hood and short cloaks until all three were completed within the hour, a simple sewing process that she relatively enjoyed doing.

Walking over to some of the many boxes laid about near the loading bay of her workshop the woman began to root through the boxes, it was various gear that she had ordered on the holonet for her armor. Some holo projectors, power gloves, knuckle blade, rockets, general stuff that she would use for the armor to give it a few extra flavors, but the extra crap wasn't what she was looking for.

"Here we go!" The woman smiled as she pulled up a medium sized box.

Kneeling down she opened it up and pulled out three thermo body gloves, which was going to act as the base layer of the armor and keep whoever was wearing it either warm or cool in various environments. The woman smiled and looked over to her team of droid's.

"Set these up on the mannequins and get me a a bottle of water, we're about to start crafting." Patricia said to a reserve team of droids on standby.

The droids came quickly then gathered up the body gloves and ran them over to a set of worn mannequins to dress them in the gloves.

"How's the phrik looking?!" Patricia said over to the droids in charge of the phrik smelting.

"We are all prepared and ready to go Miss G, orders?" the droid asked the woman.

Patricia grabbed her bottle of water and took a drink, she let out a soft satisfied sigh afterwards and figured it was time to move along to the molding and shaping process.

"Get me a team and head over to the smithing area, pour the liquid phrik into the mold pieces we had the printers work up and we'll start banging out the plates. But be sure to take the phrik in smelter four and bring sheet it then take it to armor weave crafter."

"Yes Miss G, we'll have it ready at once." the droid said as he turned foot and walked over to his fellow droid team to follow the orders given.

The smelters emptied the red hot liquid phrik out into the molds set for the armor piece by piece, there wasn't much really. A breastplate, grieves, shoulder pads, boot plating, all of which were rather thin to keep the armor more lightweight. So while that was going on the woman was loading up her smithing program on her ARC units, they would allow her to control the droids and see what they were seeing in a first person perspective. And right now she was looking at three smithing stations where the breast plate needed to be made.

"Begin!" She shouted as she picked up her motion cap hammer.

The sound of phrik cooling and steam rising rang In the air and Patricia started to take the hammers to the breast plates of the phrik. Pounding, shaping, and molding away for at least an hour until the breast plate was complete.

"Bring up the grieves!" She shouted to the droids which readied the next piece of liquid phrik.

Over the course of the next few hours Patricia would craft the remainder of the armor plating, the shoulder pads, the grieves, the helmet, forearm plates, boot plating, knee pads, every part that needed to be turned to phrik plating. The woman let out a rather relieved breath of air and took a seat by her workbench. She grabbed her water and took sips and gulps of of it before checking out what needed to be done next.

With her arc units still running she checked over towards the mess of boxes and could see the ballistic shielding material that needed to be placed on the plates. Since it was a light armor this meant that the plating was highly vulnerable to slugs, so it needed a little extra added protection in order to keep the plates from completely failing at protecting the user from slug ammunition.

The woman had the droids drag the box over to the multiple crafting tables where each piece of armor plate was laid out. The woman shook her head a bit then loaded up her motion capture program to once again work through the droids. She had some armor to line.

"Begin!" she said shouting the vocal command.

The droids lifted the phrik plates of armor and began to coat the outer layers with the ballistic shielding material, this would add some extra weight to the plates but it would be worth it in the end to save a life. The woman continued this with each piece of plating lining both front and back in order to create a completely covered ballistic resistant armor.

With that out of the way she could move on to the larger parts of the armor such as the helmet, she was going to have to upload a HUD, blank IFF tag, and a few other cool things that would help the user on and off the battlefield. But first she would have to go and grab the Agrinium faraday mesh she had ordered from downstairs.

Walking over to the loading bay she grabbed a more light box that contained the Agrinium mesh material and walked back over to her personal crafting table where the three helmets had been laid out. This would just be a simple process of lining the inner side of the helmet with the material.

Patricia took each piece of mesh and placed it in on the table, taking the first one she began to line the plate of the helmet and ballistic shielding. This would allow the helmet to keep functioning under ion attack and EMPs to act like a faraday cage. She continued to do the same with the other three helmets roughly taking less than forty-five minutes to take care of the entire process. Once that was done she grabbed the thermo glove liner and placed it against the mesh of the helmets and would then place the electronics.

"Come on baby." Patricia said as she grabbed two small chip based items.

One was a CPU in which contained preloaded programs on it like a HUD system and digital life support readings, the other was a blank IFF tag that was placed inside the helmet as well. Once these were wired in and connected to the visor they were ready to go. Placing in the padding for comfort the woman wrapped up the helmets and was about ready to move on to the second to last step.

For the fourth smelter she had ordered the droids to see the phrik crafted into a sheet then ran through the armor weave machine, this had been taken care of while she was handling the other material so what she was looking at when she approached the mesh machine was enough phrik armor mesh to craft the remaining three suits non plated areas.

Taking each blanket of mesh she lined the inner layer with ballistic shielding and the outer with a basic quality bantha leather. Once they were nice and ready to go the woman would begin to craft and cut each piece of armor mesh and place them on the thermo body glove coveted mannequins.

"Droids, start Armoring up the mannequins!" Patricia said with a smile.

The woman watched the droids place every piece of armor on the mannequins until they were covered with armor from head to toe, Patricia put the last touch of capes and cloaks on them and the Rogues were completed. She was rather proud of what she had accomplished here and she knew that she was one step closer to getting what she wanted out of the galaxy. Which was money and rare objects, soon enough she'd be able to buy her way back into certain circles and this life of running and crime could come to an end. Taking out her long range communicator she sat down and pulled up [member="Keira Ticon"]'s contact information then pressed send recorded message.

"Hey Keira, it's me. The armor is all ready to go, just hit me up if you want me to deliver or if you want to pick it up on Relovian that's ok as well." Patricia gave a tired smile to the holo recorder then pressed send on the message.

Looking over to the team of droids she waved at them and spoke once again

"Slap on all the accessories give them a paint job and call it a day." the woman said rather tiredly

Now it was time to go home and take a shower.
