Doctor Lian: "The first subject is about to begin the program. We have full faith that our formula is now fully functioning. Initial tests will begin straight after the subject finishes the procedure. We need to test the growth in their capabilities from the minute they accept the serum. Once we are pleased with the results, the rest of the batch will continue production. Our Lord will have his army quickly..."

"Try not to move, we need you perfectly in place." One of the scientists strapping Damien into the machine said, making no effort to sound reassuring. It was no matter though. Damien had little to live for, this was his only chance to regain purpose in life. He had lost everything; his wife, his daughter, his happiness. They said the Sith were evil and cared little for others, yet it was not the Sith who killed his family. The Sith offered him a new life, and for that he was eternally grateful. "Begin." No warning, no time to prepare. Strapped into some sort of upright pod, Damien saw a door close off the front of his view. Once sealed, the many needles and tools became visible as they faced him, glinting in the limited light of the capsule. One of them suddenly shot into him, injecting a cold liquid. Soon enough he found himself fading, giving way to the sedative.

Damien awoke to a piercing pain in his chest, causing him to writhe and emit a muffled scream. His sharp intakes of breath brought some form of healing, as the pain slowly subsided. There was darkness only for a few seconds, before the pod opened and revealed the blinding light on the other side. It took time for his eyes to adjust, but when they did he saw the room had changed. He had been moved, which made him wonder how long he had been out for, and for what reason he was now here. Suddenly he flicked his gaze to the side, locking onto one of the scientists approaching him. It was then he started feeling different. Anything around him, anything that moved or made a sound, became much more obvious. Every detail registered without him even thinking about it. At first it was interesting, but quickly it became too much. He clenched his eyes shut and tried to blank out the barrage of senses."You need to focus yourself..." The scientist's voice echoed like sonar, somehow allowing Damien to almost seem him. A click, he had pressed some sort of button. Slowly his ears filled with a small static, and as he turned his attention to that the pressure subsided. "There, better already." Damien opened his eyes to see the scientist writing down notes.
"Now then, we need to go through a few things before we begin testing..."
