  • Tricks of the Trade: As a whole, the Corvus possesses everything an agent would need to thrive in their role - from Encrypted access to Confederate comms/data to slave circuitry.
  • Biometrics: Upon first activation, the device itself is intimately linked to the wearer to the point where it can only be accessed by them alone. The Corvus can "tell" the difference between a severed wrist and a whole one, for example, and will not open should the wearer actually be deceased. Additionally, if the Corvus detects that the wearer has perished - or the wearer inputs the command - a small scale EMP will erupt within the device to purge all data and render the device unusable.

  • EMP: Though the onboard Agrinium mesh does provide a meager sum of hardening, dedicated EMP, Ion, or Electric assaults can severly damage or destroy this device.
  • Indiscriminate: If employed whilst allies are in proximity, the onboard jamming suite will adversely affect their communications.

Which wins more battles: Firepower or Intelligence?

Whilst situated within an ever-evolving Galaxy, the Confederacy of Independent Systems devoted itself towards taking greater leaps forward. Modern battles were not just won with spectacular shows of force, but with knowing the enemy inside and out. Untold victories could be achieved if just the right piece of data is acquired. Untold lives spared if just the right dictator is extinguished. Therefore, as part of its commitment towards amassing intelligence as an asset, the Confederacy created the Ministry of Secrets.

Now, unlike its sister divisions, agents of the Ministry could not wear their identities on their sleeves. They could not wander across the stars armed like a Dauntless Commando or Knight Obsidian. Therefore, one of the first tasks for the newborn organization was outfitting itself with the most essential tools, without drawing undue attention to one's self. The end result was the Corvus-type Chronometer: a seemingly harmless wristwatch which bore with it an agent's entire world. At their fingertips rested access to the Confederacy's databases - in addition to a suite of breaching tools. Equipped with the Corvus-type Chronometer, the average agent could be dropped into most civilized environments, equipped with all they would need to complete their objectives.

A new era of supremacy was beginning: heralded by the Corvus-type Chronometer.
