Description
The Proleiator Battle Brain is an exceptional feat in Artificial Intelligence Technology. Comprised of a Gel housing containing Gold Nano-Particles surrounded by a thin silicon layer that forms the CPU. The Gel is stimulated by electrical impulses that cause the Gold Nano-Particles to form molecular bridges, simulating organic Neurons and their Synapses. This makes for an ever-changing, highly complex Droid Core that behaves more like a Brain than a computer.
Throughout its lifetime, the brain will learn at a rate much faster than all organic lifeforms, and most other droids. During combat the brain will adapt and refine its processes to match specific stresses, much like a normal brain. This allows for exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving.
Due to the extreme complexity and high-tec nature of the "Brain", a self destruct mechanism comes pre-built. This mechanism consists simply of a capacitor that gradually collects and stores energy, only to be triggered by an analog switch that activates when it's electromagnet holding it in place is deactivated by a loss of power from the host body, an Ion or EMP discharge. The Capacitor switch is then activated and the stored energy is released in a sudden burst that melts the brain and destroys the core.
