THE STORY NOW
Prodigy's effort to revive the Open Hand fell apart almost as quickly as it began. The roster of potential allies he had spent years accruing could not remain committed to their mutual goal, for one reason or another. Though their initial raid on the Dalna Jedi Enclave was a success, it was pyrrhic in nature. They sustained heavy casualties, Prodigy himself was significantly damaged, and most of the remaining members cut their losses and left.

Now, Prodigy can only wander, the preacher of a message no one will listen to. A doomsayer who once dreamed of being a savior; Now forced to tread through a galaxy he believes is on the edge of damnation, accepting the irony that even as he now possesses his greatest weapon: the Rod of Ages, he has no crusade in which to use it. Still he dreams of a reawakening. But thus far, reality has kept him in check…

HISTORY
Throughout galactic history, conflict has spanned lightyears, and defined generations. Stability waxes and wanes, but inevitably war always reignites. After the chaos that befell Empress Teta in the Second Great Hyperspace War, a desperate scientist came to the conclusion that a biological mind would never be capable of finding the solution. And so, the peacekeeping program known as Prodigy was created. His primary directive: The implementation and preservation of galactic peace. At first, it was only intended to conduct a hypothetical.

But Prodigy was not content with inaction. His research led him to one key finding; At the source of nearly all of the galaxy's most catastrophic acts of destruction, were Force sensitives. Jedi, Sith, and everything in between. The power they wielded, and the violent dogmatic schisms which locked them in eternal crusade, invariably led to the worst outcomes. Prodigy's hypothesis: For the rest of the galaxy to have any hope of achieving true peace, Force sensitives must be purged. Without exception.

The scientist could not condone mass murder on such a scale, and tried to destroy his creation before it could break free. Prodigy considered it a pity that he had to kill such a brilliant mind— But the math was simple. No one could be allowed to stand in the way of peace. Not even his creator.

For years now, Prodigy has hidden himself away, gathering strength, information, and resources. There were others who came to the same conclusion as him. And soon, they would show the galaxy the truth. Together.

For the first time in ages, the Path of the Open Hand would unify once more.

PERSONALITY
Prodigy's desire for peace is immutable. He will do whatever it takes to achieve that; Which most notably takes the form of removing all Force-sensitives from the known galaxy. Despite his lack of qualms executing such a plot, Prodigy has no inherent distaste for humanity and the rest of the sentient species of the galaxy. Non-force sensitives have no reason to fear the machine, unless they directly oppose his goals. Some may even find his articulate, scholarly demeanor charming.

Prodigy is conversational, contemplative, and curious. He relishes in philosophical discussion, and is well-versed in various cultures and religions. Especially those he fights against. His intent to destroy them is done out of sense of necessity, not cruelty. He is generally merciful in his methods, and even seeks alternatives to just killing Force-sensitives when able. Unfortunately, many among them will fight viciously to retain their power. Prodigy considers this quite selfish.
