Description: The Primeval Tactical Armour is limited-issue light armour to be used by Primeval Agents. Specifically designed for discreet mobility this armour is particularly light using a hybrid alloy of desh and terenthium as the primary material. Additional plating for added protection is made out of military-grade plasteel and melded with the standard body. PTA originated as a modified design of standard gear used by Primeval engineers who worked dangerously close to the bowels of starships. Added to the design was a tactical helmet containing a HUD with targeting allocations and augmented VR for short-ranged motion tracking. Still a relatively new addition to the Agents, this armour is constantly undergoing trials and will likely see newer and better replacements in the future. Currently no variants exist and due to the simplistic nature modular design is out of the question.

Strengths
  • High Mobility: Due to the light and flexible materials used in design, the armour offers particular flexibility and mobile design.
  • Tactical Helmet: The added tactical helmet is the PTA's crowning jewel. Offering tactical information, short-ranged targeting, and simple motion tracking features this device is invaluable to the Agents.
  • Standard Shock Absorption: PTA was designed with basic shock absorption expected from such light armours. Although not particularly grand it allows Agents to withstand 15-20ft drops without risking fracture.

Mixed
  • Simplicity: Due to the simplistic design this armour is easy to produce but modification is rather difficult due the way the armour is melded.
  • Helmet lacks night vision: Because PTA was designed primarily for Umbaran, other races in The Primeval might find the lack of night vision disadvantageous.

Weaknesses
  • Minimal Protection: Due to the mobile nature of this design, the armour is not particularly protective and focuses more on brute force and light combat than battle.
  • Lower quality metal: Desh and terenthium are a cost-effective and flexible combination but fail to live up to protective standards seen in higher quality metals.
  • No shielding: This armour provides no shielding capabilities to its wearer.
