Greetings, Primeval members!

Staff and I have been planning a number of things all week (mostly me just talking to other FO's), and we have not just one direction to go in, but several.

So we need to pick a direction and stick with it. Since my poll option isn't available for some reason atm, we'll just have this as an open discussion where you answer the prompts.

Poll Question #1: Which of the following would you like to see more of?

1. Invasions, and other related conflicts
2. Faction threads, and/or Dominions

I think keeping the pressure up on the invasion front is fun.
Yes, grad school prevents me from jumping in too many, but seeing us knock the SSC off the map is nice.

Question 1: I'd like some more faction threads to establish connections/ideas with y'all, but I can get character dev in just about anything. Including musical numbers, but I don't see us as much of a jazz hands kind of group.



Question 2: Given the Galactic Alliance idea, I think we should be prepared for the Mandalorians to want a piece of us. Like, a big piece. I'm not saying we can't keep throwing down with the Sanctum, but we shouldn't be surprised when the Mandos come knocking for a party.

[member="50H31"] Unfortunately the mando's don't seem to be interested or fond of us, more on the OOC level due to some misgivings in our first invasion.

We've also had some talks, and at current the Mandalorians are divided on an OOC level, leaving them physically incapable of formulating a retaliatory strike on our territory, which gives us the flexibility to strike other targets.

Based upon some factors, at a point undetermined in the future, I've decided to:

INVADE OSSUS​

Ossus is the Republic's last canon Jedi stronghold, and would pose a crippling move against their already weakened faction. We will provide them with a new threat, and bring the stakes to the highest point for them. We should hope for heavy resistance, and I image that this will be no Ziost. Be prepared for a Wayland: Part II, but always hope for Ziost.

Other than the invasion plans, I've got something hopefully interesting in the works. The dominion of Mavericka will be up soon with the Acolyte Tournament, kicking off something that I've begun to call the Primeval Olympics, for lack of a better term.

We will be traveling around the galaxy, hosting Tournaments for other factions to act as dominions for them, in order to get a unique inter-faction role playing experience never before seen on the board. The SSC and I, have also discussed the possibility that our Tournament could serve as an Invasion over a neutral planet (Most likely Ession), though obviously this is not a finalized plan.

Already, the One Sith, Hutt Cartel, and the Techno Union have agreed to compete in the Tournaments, thus far the OS have decided to place there's on Dorin, and the Hutt Cartel have suggested Kubindi. The Mandalorians have not decided yet whether or not to participate, and the Techno Union thus far have not made a decision on the location of their Tournament. So for those looking for faction threads, this is as close as it gets I suppose without actually being faction threads. I hope you enjoy them!

Additionally, I personally will see to it that Lorrd is finished today, and push for Bosph to be finished sooner rather than later.

INVADE OSSUS

Unfortunately due to some stressful extenuating circumstances, we will NOT be invading Ossus for a variety of reasons, which mostly revolve around the fact I foresaw it as being a total crap storm, or otherwise as a flop that wouldn't be enjoyable for anybody. So I apologize to those of you who were actually excited to smack the Jedi around, but I tell you that there are other far more interesting targets around that will be easier to reach and organize.

I would love to tell you the new target immediately, but I must deliberate with my staff currently as a means to make amends for backing down, and respond to my personal feedback.
