COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Availability: Common upon Dohmus Prime, Uncommon everywhere else
  • Deployment: Mass upon Dohmus Prime, Minor everywhere else.
  • Strengths & Weaknesses:
First Responders: A dedicated policing force within the Family, these men and women of the policing force, stand guard, act as first responders, debt collectors, or otherwise perform patrols around any locations, and business ventures that the Family may own use, or operate on. Considering many other police forces on outer rim planets, or others have a very slow response time, The Family Security Force has a sub three minute response time. Allowing for first responders to quickly take a hold of the situation from wherever they may be.
  • Gardener's Little Helpers: While unknown to their true function, a secondary set of police forces was created for a more shady venture. Dressed in coolth suits, or using a Coolth pack on any armor that they may happen to wear, These "Helpers" of the Gardener Auberon, are debt collectors, Guerrilla forces, Guards, or also known as "Torchers" for their distinct look of orange and red garb, as well as flamethrowers. They perform any task that the police, or Law enforcement could otherwise not under their jurisdiction.
  • Time for a Beating: Due to the requirements to join the Torchers segment of the group, One must just simply pass the "Trial of Fire" in which the person is forced to run into a building that is burning down without any gear, and attempt to "save" the "Person" held captive inside, and then have a good ol' hazing. Much easier than having to be hired on as an actual police officer.
  • Disputes: There have been a couple times that some of the Police working for the Family, have come to arguments and even firefights with police forces of the local area they are operating in. With a police force run very much like a gang teritory, Should police officers come into any Family business, they tend to be shunned away and very rarely work with local police forces.
  • Arsonists: Torchers are known for their use of flamethrowers and gear that allows them to deal with flames and heat. Due to this, they start fires to peoples homes who owe protection money, pay debts, or outright attempt to fight the Family. As such, local police consider these torchers as criminals. Most of those who are caught are sent to the Local Jails for some time before they can be taken out by paying off the police.
  • Warzones: These units are a police force and at times can be used as Guerrilla fighters. However, as they lack substantial armor, and armaments, they can't really lay siege to buildings, locations, or major fortifications. They are a couple steps above Canon fodder, but only by a couple of steps.

Description: A growing place, needs guards. A Crime syndicate needs enforcers. So with the introduction of many new business ventures upon a couple planets, as well as their home planet of Dohmus prime, These first responders dress up in the good ol' blue to do just what any other kind of Law enforcement unit does. Secondary to that, are the Torchers, or the debt collectors that act on the same playing field of these law enforcers. While they operate quite differently, they are technically working under the same unit. Using the same resources and can perform most of the same actions. However, one follows the law like goody two shoes, while the other supersedes the law to do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
