Pra'jituri is a dish from Lao-mon consisting of ts'kiza eggs and crushed zenobia berries. Due to the difficulty associated with procuring the eggs, it was historically only consumed by the leader of the winning side after a battle. In more modern times its meaning has broadened to celebrate any triumph of life. It can be prepared for a person who has healed from an illness or injury, given to a family to celebrate the birth of a child, or to a person who has gone through hard times and come out on the other end a survivor. Traditionally the eggs are served raw, but they can also be cooked in any number of ways.
