Public Powdered Goods

Standing on a street corner isn't a crime, which is why the practice of selling drugs on street corners never died. Given that this was inner city Coruscant, the cops weren't likely to patrol in the first place.

This particular street corner was sandwiched between a holo theater and a convenience store. Across from it was an ice cream parlor and a fried nuna stand. The sidewalks had a bit of trash, mostly in the form of food wrappers tossed about by the wind, but overall it was one of the nicer neighborhoods in the area. If you could call this nice, that is.

Ganner stood there, his lanky form leaning against a lamppost. On the outside, he was just one of many people staring down at his datapad, unaware of his surroundings. But while he kept his head down, his good eye occasionally wandered about, checking around him. And if one were to glance at his screen, they'd see he was looking at nothing but the ticking clock.

Open to spice addicts looking for a fix, vigilantes looking for drug dealers to beat up, criminals, clowns, etc.

Coruscant

Jasper didn't often hang around the nicer levels of Coruscant, though nicer was relative when it came to Galactic City. The majority of his time was spent in the underworld, exploring abandoned locals or finding a new band of criminals to politely teach a lesson. It was good field practice, given his incomplete training. There was certainly an inherent value in learning to take on criminals in their element. Today, however, something different had come up on his radar: Spice. There were only trace hints of it, but someone was selling drugs out there, in the less shady areas of the planet no less. Jasper quickly logged this, sending a message back to the temple for assistance before setting off to find this drug dealer.

It didn't take him long to find a likely candidate. It was a lanky ginger man with an eyepatch, who was leaning against a lamp post. Jasper had caught sight of the man from his perch atop the nearby convenience store. He procured his droid Pyf from his hood, waking the little orb.

"Pyf," Jasper addressed the droid in a hushed tone. "See if this guy comes up in any public systems."

Pfy scanned the man from a distance. It was faint, but a keen eye would be able to notice a tiny glimmer of green light.

"Ganner Threepwood," the droid explained. "He's got a pretty sizable bounty on his head. It seems someone want's him."

"Shady lookin, has a bounty, hanging around a lamp post..." Jasper noted under his breath. "This might be our guy."

As Pyf returned to Jasper's hood, the padawan began to prepare, loading his crossbow. He had sent word back to the temple for back up, but in the meantime he'd keep an eye on the one-eyed man. If this was the drug dealer he was looking for, he could prove to be a real problem later down the line.
