LFG Potential Possibilities

[Rath Nihro]

Looking for someone who wants to thread with Rath Nihro, a low ranked soldier of Eternal Empire and Warden of the Shroud. As for what in particular, I'm honestly going to leave it for discussion for anyone who is interested, but below is some information to work with. The entire purpose behind this is character development.

Rath is a recently trained soldier of the Eternal Empire and is secretly an Initiate of the Wardens. Some time ago before Rath enlisted, his teacher Ta'kir went rogue on the Wardens and Eternal Empire before Ta'kir disappeared into the stars. Afterwards, Rath was immediately held in suspicion of turning as well and thus his ties to the Wardens is stressed. With his training cut short, Rath enlisted in hopes of getting into a good standing of the Empire and prove his worth to the Shroud. That has yet to happen however as he just started, but he's eager to learn from the experienced.

With that out of the way, whether it's like a one-time job or a random encounter Rath is a quiet individual who says few words. He's also the objective oriented to where he doesn't let anything get in the way of his objectives, whether that's going around the obstacle or through it. So he's quite the dedicated sort to say the least.

hey! Could see some options here I have Shavara. Officially she’s a member of the planet Vrant’ti’s religious type section called Vo Ni (force sensitives specifically of their race). Vran’ti is also under the Eternal Empire right now, something many don’t like, but most don’t challenge. She technically mostly does scientific research being a biologist and alchemist. However she also goes off as “Sar Vun” (a culturally important name to her people) and helps the Eclipse Rebellion when she can, usually taking another physical form and wearing a mask to hide who she really is.

it could be interesting to have an interaction with her.Either as herself, or as Sar Vun. Conflictingideals and cultures, and doubtless different styles of being taught the force.

alternatively I have a new character I want to experiment with. A tech exper who’s older than she looks. Mariah of House Marr . Her morality is a bit more bendable than Shavara’s and while not force sensitive herself, she finds interest in it as both her parents jobs had something to do with it.

finaly option is to meet Rocho a trandpshan mercenary/hunter. He used to be a part of the Fel Imperial knights ( a force sensitive group) where he learned to use the force to further aid him in his hunt. You could be with him or at odds. But unlike Shavara he doesn’t have a huge opinion on the EE.

Having someone who conflicts with ideals and beliefs would be interesting. Of course Rath's loyalty would be unwavering, but it wouldn't even need to be a debate. Just something that they'll likely have as they communicate.

It would be interesting for a non-force sensitive to express interest in the Force, but another fun fact is that Rath is interested in other crafts in technology. I don't know how helpful he would be on the subject of the Force, but he'd try to aid her on that.

Being in a hunt with Rocho would be a fun experience. I don't know about opposing Rocho since as far as I know Rath hasn't done anything to warrant a bounty on him. However if Rocho was to target an EE asset, then I can see Rath defending the asset from Rocho.

Right, and Shavara would never side with the EE. But she still might try and convince him to. Or at least try and push him in that direction. Could also just be a case of working Together, but not wanting to. If she is just being Shavara she’s still going to try and help people, even EE citizens, should she find that necessary.

I think she might more try and fill in gaps. the intricacies. She knows more mechanics of the force then personal relationships to it. How it works on an individual basis for instance. In return she could offer technical knowledge, or aid. Or perhaps just get paid for it, or be given certain types of resources.

Either way works. Perhaps they both were after the same person, or Rocco chased them into the EE, contacts thr EE officials and Rath gets involved that way. Or reverse, where they put a bounty on someone rather was after, and Rocco comes in afterwards. If we want opposition than yeah it might work that he’s after someone the EE wants preserved like you said.

Alright, I have an idea for any of your characters to work with. In Bursoll II there is a Botanist who became incredibly fascinated with the Rurylis Flower (which induces a disorienting psychoactive effect just being in an enclosed space after a while). Said Botanist was experimenting on the flower in curiosity of creating a new strand of medicine to numb excruciating pain, and the possibility of learning how exactly the Rurylis Flower works. Rath could be tasked with investigating the Botanist's whereabouts after about a week of no contact, and one of your characters could be assigned with him (or hired).

Alright, think Mariah would be the best choice of this then. Shavara probably wouldn't be sent to track someone down, and Rocho wouldn't find that worthwhile. Could say she was hired to help with the search, she'll do just about anything. Course, depending on how dangerous she expects it could be, she may use her droid as a sort of stand-in rather than go on the searching part herself, while she sticks on her ship.
