- Description: It serves as the home of Jedi Knight Aiden Porte, the seat of the Keeper of Hope, and a refuge for family, friends, allies, and those seeking respite from the burdens of the galaxy. Within its grounds stand the main residence, the Jedi Training Circle, and the barracks of Shiraya's Hope, together forming a place where hope, service, and enduring peace are cultivated for generations to come.
Homestead-The main residence is spacious, every room is designed with purpose rather than opulence, creating an atmosphere of comfort, peace, and quiet dignity. Wide halls, inviting common rooms, a well stocked library, and a great dining hall provide ample space for family gatherings, shared meals, and the countless conversations that continue long into the evening.
Scattered throughout the residence are numerous guest chambers, each furnished with the same care and attention as the family's own quarters. Every room overlooks a portion of the gardens or the surrounding Naboo countryside, reminding each guest that they are not merely sheltered beneath the Porte roof, but welcomed into the family itself.
Near the eastern gardens rests a broad meadow littered with shade trees, a place that has become Lira Porte's favorite corner of the estate. A growing willow begins to stretch its branches over a gently rolling hill where she spends countless afternoons climbing, reading, imagining adventures, or chasing the colorful birds that nest among its limbs.
No one seeking refuge, healing, or companionship is ever turned away. The estate has become known as a place where burdens grow lighter and hope is quietly restored.
Jedi Training Circle-Nestled among trees and overlooking the peaceful countryside, the Jedi Training Circle serves as both a place of discipline and quiet reflection. Constructed by Aiden Porte as an extension of his father's ideals, the circular stone courtyard was never intended to become the foundation of a new Jedi Order. Instead, it exists for a simpler purpose. To preserve wisdom, encourage balance, and offer guidance to those who seek it.
Throughout the months, Jedi from many walks of life have visited the circle. Some arrived searching for greater mastery of the Force, while others came burdened by doubt, grief, or uncertainty. Aiden always had something to teach, and in return they taught him something as well. He welcomed each visitor as an equal traveler upon the same path, offering perspective born from hardship, perseverance, and hope.
Training within the circle extends beyond lightsaber forms or martial discipline. Meditation, quiet conversation, and moments of reflection are held in equal regard. Here, strength is measured not by one's ability to overcome an opponent, but by the willingness to confront one's own fears and continue moving forward. Any who seek honest counsel, regardless of rank or experience, will always find the circle open to them.
Soldier Housing- The barracks were established as a permanent home for the soldiers of Shiraya's Hope, a refuge built for those who had already sacrificed more than most could imagine. Many among their ranks lost families, homes, and entire futures during the devastation of the Knightfall Alliance and the Netherworld Crisis. Though war had taken much from them, it would never take away the bond they forged with one another.
The barracks provide comfortable living quarters, gathering halls, training facilities, and places of quiet rest for every member of Shiraya's Hope. More than military housing, they represent the promise first made by Kahne and faithfully upheld by Aiden. So long as a member of Shiraya's Hope draws breath, they will never stand alone, nor will they ever be without a place to call home.
Landing Pad- The landing pad is built with the same practical philosophy that defines the Porte Homestead. Wide enough to accommodate everything from small starfighters to medium transports, its polished Naboo stone and reinforced durasteel construction provide a reliable arrival point without overshadowing the surrounding landscape. Discreet guidance lights are set into the platform itself, illuminating only when needed and preserving the tranquility of the estate.
Positioned a short distance from the main residence, the pad is connected by a tree lined stone walkway that leads through the gardens toward the heart of the homestead. Nearby storage bays and a modest maintenance shelter provide space for supplies, repairs, and refueling, ensuring that visiting ships can be serviced without requiring a full hangar. Whether welcoming old friends, returning family, or weary travelers seeking refuge, the landing pad serves as the first expression of the Porte family's enduring hospitality.
SECURITY
Medium- These warriors first pledged themselves to Jedi Master Kahne Porte, standing beside him through some of the Alliance and Naboo's darkest hours. After his sacrifice, that oath passed naturally to Aiden Porte, not through obligation, but through trust earned over years of shared hardship. To Aiden, they were never simply soldiers under his command. They were trusted companions, loyal friends, and respected advisors whose voices carried as much weight around the table as they did upon the battlefield.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Porte Homestead stands among the rolling fields of Naboo as both a sanctuary and a testament to resilience. It was first built by Jedi Master Kahne Porte and his wife, Alexandra Porte. After Alexandra and Addison's dissappearance, the Dark Exchange attacked and reduced the Homstead to rubble. Immediately after, Kahne commisioned the structure to be rebuit, it wasn't only a few weeks later he ventured into the Netherworld, with Jedi and Naboo personnel alike and he sacrificed himself to save Naboo.
With the rebuilding of the homestead Kahne entrusted Aiden not only with the homestead itself, but with a far greater inheritance. He passed to his son the mantle of the Keeper of Hope, believing that the greatest legacy a Jedi could leave behind was not victory in battle, but the ability to inspire others to endure and to keep hope alive.
The estate has weathered hardship after hardship, through the Dark Exchange attack, and the Netherworld Crisis, and countless personal trials. Though peace was never freely given, Aiden earned it alongside trusted companions and steadfast allies. Today, the homestead remains a place where laughter once again fills its halls, where family gathers beneath warm lantern light, and where friends and strangers are reminded that even after the darkest nights, hope can still find a home.
