APPEARANCE:
Poro is a peach skinned Kel Dor with mottlings of a darker shade. He is constantly seen wearing his antiox breath mask as well as goggles that are necessary for him to see when off of Dorin. Additionally, he almost always wears long, dark robes and boots that match. He even often wears gloves to coincide with it. This is to symbolize that he should not stand out above the Force.

BIOGRAPHY:
Poro was born on Dorin, but for much of his life he did not live there. At a very young age, he and his cousins were taken to Tython to study. The location of Tython was not something easy to decipher, but the fact that the Jedi originated from there was reasonably well known among his family. They traveled there, to the old temple near the ruined city of Kaleth. Here, he and his cousins were taught about the Force and the Jedi. For much of his lifetime there, Tython was not occupied by Jedi aligned governments, and so he did not see many of them wandering about, but when they did venture to the world, he and the others would flock to them with questions about the Force and the Jedi of old. Some of them were more interested in learning about the new age of combat oriented Jedi, those that actively sought the destruction of the Sith. Poro was not.

In fact, he often found these adventures in learning from random Jedi to be less than fulfilling. There was always something about him that bothered him. Perhaps it was the shadow of darkness that loomed within them. Even the Jedi, it seemed, had fallen from their ways. It was disheartening to say the least. Jedi were never meant to be soldiers, to be warriors on the battlefield. They were peacekeepers and diplomats. Their job was to protect the people of the galaxy and resolve issues. They should not seek monetary gain, they should not command fleets or armies, and they definitely shouldn't be seeking to kill anyone, even Sith. The Sith were just misguided brethren. When had that philosophy changed?

Needless to say, Poro became unhappy, and as soon as he turned sixteen, the age of being an adult in the Kel Dor society, he left Tython and ventured through the galaxy trying to find a Jedi that exemplified what the Jedi were supposed to be. Ultimately that led him to the Galactic Alliance, the last place real Jedi might be found in the galaxy. He'd initially thought of the Silver Jedi, but the more he found out about them, the more he became disinterested in their breed of Jedi. To him they were more dark than they were light, and he could not bring himself to want to be party to their kind. So now, at the age of twenty, he approaches the Jedi in the Galactic Alliance in the hopes that one of them can teach him to utilize the Force in the way that Jedi have always been meant to utilize it.
