SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Procelen Logistics Corporate Headquarters
  • Classification: Office, Storage Facility, Residential Area, Corporate Fortress
  • Location: Lotho Minor
  • Affiliation: Katherin DuPorcelen
  • Accessibility: For anyone part of the Porcelen Logistics Corporation, the facility is very accessable. Granted, corporate ID's are necessary for entry, with scanners employed to ensure there are no forged ID's. For those who are not employees or executives of the corproation, entry to this facility varies. For those invited to come, punctuality with appointments is key. For those not invited, the facility is protected by great amounts of security. The facility is located in the more fortified portions of the one settlement on Lotho Minor that was established by the Eternal Empire as a garrison. As a result, while a very prominant structure in the city, the fortifications of the city impact its general accessibility as well. It not hidden by any means, but is highly secured like a fortress within the garrisoned city.
  • Description: [ Provide a description of this structure at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in points of interest. ]
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Corporate Office Complex: The primary structure of the facility is the housing of the various offices for workers of the Porcelen Logististics Corporation. From standard desk-workers, to top-ranking executives, all offices present at this facility are housed in this complex. The higher floors are designated for the higher ranking executives to have their offices on. The lower floors are for the more common desk-workers of the facility and corproation. The floors are then organized according to which branch the given worker or executive is tied to for efficiency purposes. The upper floors are prone to greater security measures, while the lower floors have security present at the entrance to each floor and the building itself. Such measures are not to be the sole source of security for the headquarters, but are a means to ensure safety of personnel. The office complex is located towards the more central portions of the headquarters facility to further ensure its protection.
  • Warehouse Facility: Being a logistics company, the corporate headquarters has an impressive warehouse facility to store much of the items that pass through Lotho Minor through the corporation's routes in borderlands between the Unknown Regions and Outer Rim. This storage facility is home to some of the more intense security present in the headquarters as a means to ensure the protection of material assets. This structure of the headquarters facility is located more towards the outside as a way to quickly transport goods in and out of the headquarters facility and to the spaceport constructed by the Eternal Empire when establishing the garrison on Lotho Minor.
  • Walls: While many corporate headquarters have the luxury of not requiring true fortification due to existing on worlds seen as safe by the greater galaxy, Lotho Minor affords no such luxury. The junk-pile filled wilderness demands that any sort of facility and-or settlement have the utmost security to safeguard against the horrors that lurk in the wasteland. Porcelen Logistics Corporate Headquarters is thus protected by high and durable walls. Guard towers are placed at strategic points in regular intervals, while patrols circle around the length of the wall between the towers. The towers are home to simple turrets and spotlights to keep close watch on the perimeter of the headquarters facility. The walls also have energy barriers along the ramparts to protect guards from blaster fire. Additionally, there are layers of electric fencing around the foot of the walls on either side to protect against invaders trying to scale the walls from the ground.
  • Worker Apartments: Due to the nature of the city on Lotho Minor established by the EE, the corporate headquarters requires much personelle that the city cannot provide in of itself. As a result, it must rely on imported workers that came while the Eternal Empire still had a presence in this area of the galaxy. To house those workers, a village of dense apartments were constructed within the facility's walls to esnure both worker safety, as well as provide housing for those that work in the office complex and secuirty department of the headquarters. The penthouses of all these apartment buildings are designated for the executives of the corporation. These penthouses have their own landing pads for shuttles and aircraft for greater convienience. This village of apartments is home to company stores where those living there can purchase goods and services provided by the corporation.
  • CEO Penthouse Suite: At the top of the office complex itself is a large suite designated for the CEO of Porcelen Logistics Corporation. It is far more secured than many of the other areas of the headquarters facility in order to ensure the safety of the CEO. This suite is luxurious in assets. There is ample living space where one can live in comfort and entertain guests easily. There is a private communication room where the CEO can access areas of the corproation's network in order to inspect status as well as being host to a holo terminal used for official communication. The private bedroom is very luxurious with its space and comfort. Additionally, there is a private shuttle pad for the CEO to return to this place from business trips to other worlds.
  • Barracks: The place of residence for all armed guards present at this headquarters facility. It has its own dining hall, storage facility for arms and armor, a security hub where all surveillance system footage is shown and watched at all times, as well as the large facility of bunks designed to house the small-army of armed guards.

SECURITY
High: This is the heart of Porcelen Logistics Corporation, and is present on an incredibly dangerous world. As a result, high security is a necessity. Every effort of construction with this facility was designed with the intention of making this a corporate fortress. At the guard towers along the walls of the facility, there are guard towers equipped with turrets and spotlights intended on shooting down attacking craft, energy shields along the ramparts to protect guards from blaster fire, and layers of electric fencing at the base of the walls on both the interior and exterior as a means to protect against scaling attempts. Inside the facility, regular guard patrols make up the bulk of securty as they patrol the "streets" between the buildings that make up the corporate headquarters. Security checkpoints are present at the entrance to every building to ensure that only employees, or invited guests, are entering. Scanners at these checkpoints are deployed to ensure there are no forged Identifications being used by those entering. The executive offices have security patrols as well between the offices of different executives in a regular rotation, deployable anti-personelle turrets that extend from plates in the ceilings, and an extensive surveillence system. The desk-worker offices are then protected by a security checkpoint present at each entrance to each floor, as well as an exensive suveillence system. The apartments are then protected by regular patrols of guards, surveillance systems. Additonal security is placed on the executive penthouses as well with stationed guards, deployable anti-personelle turrets, and extensive surveillence coverage. Very similar measures are taken with the CEO Penthouse at the top of the office complex structure. This executive suite for the CEO is the place of residence at this headquarters where the most effort was made to have it be a secure home and office space while not interfering with the oppulance of it. The warehouse is arguably the most secure facility in the whole headquarters complex, with no expense spared to ensure the protection and security of the material assets the Porcelen Logistics Corporation relies on to do its business. Deployable anti-personelle turrets from walls around exterior doors, as well as the ceillings of the facility's interior, secuirty checkpoints at allentrances, regular patrols of guards, and the most extensive surveillance system deployed on the whole headquarters location, make for this intense security. All the surveillance footage is sent to the security room found in the barracks structure where it is watched at all times with reguarly rotated workers. Said footage can also be relayed to the terminals found in the executive apartments and CEO suite as well. Lastly, as mentioned, the small army of armed guards contributes greatly to the security of this facility. They are well-equipped using technology from the Eternal Empire, and are instructed to kill intruders. Their uniforms are also designed for intimidation, as well as protection from the potentially toxic atmosphere of Lotho Minor.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
When the Eternal Empire came to Lotho Minor, they established a garrison located near a makeshift city of scavengers, outlaws, and gangsters. This garrison has evolved to encompass the more upscale portions of the city that accomadated the previous Empire's officials. One of such officials would be the Baron of Lotho Minor, an exiled Sith Darth named Viermen who had spent much of his life as a hermit in the wastelands of the planet. He, however, would not spend much time here, as he would venture around space on missions for the Eternal Empire rather than govern the world he was named Baron of. When he went rogue, and left the Eternal Empire to return to the wastelands, an ambitious Rear Admiral in the Eternal Navy, named Katherin DuPorcelen, took his place as Baroness of Lotho Minor.

While there, she had her fleet stationed in the system so she can easier access all those under her command while attending her duties on the junkyard world. Towards the later times of the Eternal Empire, she spent much of her time industrializing and developing the city the Empire had established as its hub of activity on the world so that her world could contribute to the Eternal Empire's war effort. Sadly, it would not be enough to spare her beloved Empire from destruction. She had heard the grim news the Empire's leadership was destroyed, and that the Empire is gone. For her, she was saddned that the Empire she gave her life in service of was gone. However, it meant she was no longer shackled by any laws put into place with how to run a planet.

Before the collapse of the Empire, she had a headquarters for her personal company, Porcelen Logistics Corporation, become constructed in the garrisoned section of the city. Now that Lotho Minor was independent due to neglect, she began ramping up the effort of construction in finishing what was underway at the time, but also adding onto the project. After years of pouring great effort into establishing the presence of her authority through this corporate headquarters, she had orchestrated the construction of a corporate fortress. Many refugees on other worlds towards the core of the Eternal Empire's former territory began hearing word of the efforts on Lotho Minor. Considering there was a former official trying to keep true order, and requiring labor, droves immigrated to the junkyard world. However, they were then conscribed into a poorly paid, but well-fed, workforce to construct the headquarters and other industrial buildings to make Lotho Minor a functioning world. After much of the construction was done, many of the refugees were skilled in other forms of work, and were then forced into being hired by the corporation as desk-workers and armed guards for the new headquarters facility. Now the headquarters functions as the source of all authority in the city on Lotho Minor with the Baroness spending more of her time there than the proper Imperial Garrison. The structures stand high above the rest of the city, making for an imposing feature of the Lotho Minor city skyline.
