+ Solid Cloud: As a Neo-Bespinian Popel has near total control over his body’s density. Changing it to being as fluid and weightless as air to as dense as solid ice. Similarly to a non-newtonian fluid, but as a gas in this case.
+ Invisibility: This really only works on his homeworld or suitable life-support system. But if he’s present in such a place his stealth is arguably more GOATed than even the best master Jedi Shadow or Sith Assassin.
- Scattering: Popel is largely immune to most forms of physical harm. However powerful and sudden pressure waves have the -risk of dispersing his body and molecules too thinly and causing him harm.
- No Health Care: How do you offer a cloud first-aid?
- Poisonous Air: If not in the atmosphere of Bespin or a suitable life support system with a ship or evo-suit he will gradually become more and more sick. Taking on a smoky appearance. Needing to find at least a confined space to detox his gaseous body of foreign contaminates once or twice a day.
APPEARANCE:
Popel appearance varies considerably, from being an invisible cloud to billowing amorphous grey smoke to a blackish solid mass. Generally however when wearing clothes he maintains a tall humanoid form. Make it even easier in a seal environmental suit to keep himself healthier. When away from his homeworld or ships (which is most often the case) he appears as a smoky gray mass.
BIOGRAPHY:
Many many years ago as a young ‘cloudling’, Popel had a hobby and habit of passively observing the locals who settled on his people’s homeworld. Enjoying getting to watch their busy lives and how they lived in ways so alien to himself. They were so ‘concrete’, so worldly and he was fascinated by it.
He had enough sense and respect to steer clear of violating people’s privacy. Knowing full well he wouldn’t want someone spying on him when he thought he was alone. However, he still managed to eavesdrop enough to know of some serious and terrible crimes being committed on one of the floating cities. Popel wouldn’t stand by and let people be hurt when he could do something about it.
Using his natural gifts he single handedly tore apart a local criminal organization. Evil doers and neerdowells weren’t safe so long as they were on Bespin as he became something of a guardian angel to the honest and innocent citizens of the planet. Scrubbing the world many criminals both big and small wherever he caught wind of them.
However, the galaxy was a big place with many more lives being hurt. He knew he wouldn’t be as potent of a defender but he knew he was more than capable of taking a stand off world. So for the next few hundred years Popel has traveled the galaxy defending those he can…
