SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Imp-Exp: Grenade causes an implosion in immediate vicinity before exploding
  • MM: Minor Magnetic Strip to help hold it
Strengths:
  • Tank-Buster: Blast can heavily damage/debilitate most armored vehicles
  • Air Consumer: Implosion pulls air out of a small area
  • Seismic Blast: Blast is similar in strength to a weak seismic charge
  • Goldilocks Zone I: A large blast range makes it unlikely for enemies to escape before detonation
Weaknesses:
  • Dumbell: Heavier than most of the equipment a soldier is expected to carry, too heavy and large for most organics to even use
  • Shielded Target: Strong shields can protect against the blast
  • Goldilocks Zone II: The grenade's safety distance means that any allies in the range are also less likely to get out
  • Long Wait: The grenade's timer is about seven seconds, giving opponents time to react
DESCRIPTION
About a third the size of a conventional bomb, this weapon still heavy and large enough to make it unusuable to most organcis in its intended purpose. The Plink, named after the distinct sound made by the grenade when it hits a metal wall, is designed to be a hand grenade for one of Ultimatum's suits, the Adamantine. It is large for a hand grenade (0.6 m), far heavier than any grenade (100 kg), and has a destructive radius that puts most other grenades to shame. It uses the concepts and materials used in the Seismic Charge, however, unlike the charge whose blast travels in a circle from the epicenter, the Plink's blast travels in the more conventional sphere. This allows for a more universal destructive capability, in the short range, but its range of effect is far smaller than the charge.

The Plink explodes using a thermite charge that sets off the chain reaction with the Baradium and the Collapsium. This initial explosion, which is rather small and unlikely to harm anyone, is followed by an implosion, pulling in all matter within a two-meter radius of the epicenter. The implosion also creates a pocket of vacuum which is rapidly filled by the atmosphere (assuming there is, in fact, an atmosphere) causing a minor concussive effect. This then proceeds to a massive (30m) baradium explosion, which on top of the simple damage also releases radiation into the area of effect. The explosion is capable of destroying most vehicles or armor it is put up against, and is far-reaching enough to potentially wipe out a small convoy. The grenades blast and various effects can be countered by a reasonably strong shield, such as those found on most medium vehicles, however, if the grenade is inside the shield, then any protection is nullified. Unlike most fragmentation grenades, the Plink's danger is almost nonexistent outside of the blast radius.

The Plink has a magnetic ring that allows it to be held in place in the Adamantine's grip, which is rather loose due to the claw design. This magnet is strong enough to remain steady when Ultimatum is holding it, but weak enough to release when he moves to throw it. It has an internal fuse that gives any person in the area seven seconds to find cover or some other escape.

Yeah, but it's still essentially a bomb. I get that you're using this for something big enough to treat it a certain way, but change the classification to Bomb and maybe emphasize that this thing is huge and unusable for anyone not several times larger than a human being (0.6 meters is about a third, give or take, of the average height).

I changed the classification to bomb and have made some minor changes stating that it realistically can't be used by most organics (since most species are around the size of a human, give or take a couple feet).
