No empathy : Kailani fails to understand others' emotions when they may be going through a tough time. He is not a commander you want to go to with your mental health problems.

Kailani is an attractive Chiss male. He has a starburst shaped birthmark on his right shoulder.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kailani grew up on Csilla in the Chiss Ascendancy, named Plikh'ala'niu (Khalani). He made a few friends, and was above average in school. His normal life was upended when the Brotherhood of the Maw laid waste to the planet when he was just a child. His parents threw him onto their only shuttle with their astromech droid. The droid, seemingly understanding the emotions and the gravity of the moment, pushed the old shuttle past its limits and escaped to GA space, where the Plikh managed to carve out a life, changing his name to Kailani, and trying to shun away the memories of his home. But he couldn't. He had to face them head on. So he decided to continue his dream of becoming an Admiral in the Chiss Defense Force....just in the GADF.
Things went well for a decade or so. The Chiss was promoted all the way to captain before he heard news that returned him to that state of fighting off his past. A new faction was on the rise. And it was aiming to rebuild the one great Chiss Ascendancy.
