Rawnie Tal'verda

Tal'Verda Aliit'buir
Truth was, she was about as feminine in the traditional sense as the Mand'alor himself. The man was a monster of muscles. Rawnie had only seen him once. Mom was a friend of the last Mand'alor. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Tried to help mom find dad.

"You're lucky. Not many guys can get me to spend the night."

She was teasing. Sort of. The nickname 'snow angel' was used frequently, but the one the boys her age whispered behind her back was 'Ice Queen'.

Lorane smirked and looked away from Rawnie, to another corner of the room.
"Almost nobody of any description has had the pleasure of seeing me so thoroughly smashed. Still me and my luck, I guess."
The "spending the night" jab was cute, but not enough to get the Chiss embarrassed. He was a pretty thick-skinned guy unless he hear a terrible joke.

"Guess we're both lucky."

She finished the coffee, so pleased with the scent and the energy it seemed to give her. If she could have this every morning..

"So! We going to do it, or not?"

She was vague about the 'it' part on purpose. She was referring to the bounty, of course.

Lorane narrowed his eyes and stroked his chin slightly.
"So, do every few sentences usually include one with a double meaning, or is that just for me?"

Was he? She had to actually think. She had... people at home. Family. But that didn;t really count. And people who talked to her. But friends?

"...Yeah, I think you are, actually," she admitted, "Believe it or not, I'm not exactly popular back home."

Lorane stuck his tongue out at Rawnie as he grabbed their cups and put them in the pressure-washer thingy. When he sat back down he gave her a mock-melodramatic look.
"Poor Ice Girl... Her only friend is a good-looking drunk with a blue face."

"Not completely true," she teased, standing up, "I'm sure you're blue everywhere else too."

Not that she had any intention to find out. The 'good looking' part she wasn't even going to comment on. What was considered handsome for a chiss anyway? Rawnie thought he looked alright, anyway, what what did she even know?

Lorane looked at his hands with a great deal of mock-horror, wiggling his fingers at Rawnie.
"I am blue everywhere. However did you guess?"

A weird thought crossed her mind. If he was blue everywhere, then... She banished the thought fast than she could finish thinking it.

"Just a feeling I had," she smiled, "It's okay. It's a good color for you. Really brings out your eyes."

[member="Doctor Azure"]

Lorane grinned a little bit and gestured towards the coat that was now lying on the couch.
"Same thing with black and grey, and sometimes silver-ish colors. They make it so I can scare the hell out of people with how much my eye color pops."
He was being silly, now, but that was okay, right? That's what being around friends was probably for.

Lorane laughed as Rawnie threw the jacket on him.
"You're pretty spooky, yourself. I could practically feel you glaring at me through your helmet."

She glared at him, but broke out into another laugh. Yeah. She'd heard that before. She was scary when she was angry. A real ice Queen.

"The spookiest."

[member="Doctor Azure"]

Lorane poked the blonde girl in the side, grinning teasingly.
"If I hadn't just literally flipped over your back, it would've scared me chitless."

She giggled. There was no helping it. She was ticklish and now thanks to a random poke to the side, he knew it too.

"Wait until you see me angry. I'm told I could frighten a Sith."

[member="Doctor Azure"]

Lorane scooted a little closer and teasingly poked Rawnie in the side again, trying to incite a reaction.
"Icy Girl is tiiiiiiiicklish..."
He grinned as he stopped and looked at her.
"I bet most of 'em are probably scared off by the aura of murderous pillow hair girls always seem to get."

Another tickle. Another giggle. If she wasn't afraid of snapping his skinny body in half, she would probably tackle him. She would have done it by now with a mando boy. But chiss felt so... delicate.

"Shut up," she snapped, quickly running fingers through her wild blonde locks, "My hair isn't that bad!"

She reached out to give him a light punch to the shoulder.

[member="Doctor Azure"]

Lorane grinned, poking Rawnie's cheek and side some more, coming almost close enough to hug her.
"I'm kidding, you know... Your hair's great. I've never seen so much... blonde. It's pretty."
