Somewhere in the forest...
Near Calna Muun, Agamar
Late Afternoon

Yuya just laid there. Staring upwards at the ceiling, eyes traveling along its surface. Every nook and cranny, every little detail of it was not hidden from his unwavering gaze. Not even when something trickled down his forehead did he blink, just simply staring as if nothing had happened. When in fact, something did quite happen. He ignored reality for what seemed like hours, watching the sparks of exposed circuitry flash as the chorus of alarm klaxons slowly began to die, their batteries spent.

"I-," his voice cracked, hoarse, "I'm alive."

A mucus-filled cough was all that he could muster to clear his throat. Frowning in disgust, Yuya turned to hock a glob of the mess away from him. In doing so did he truly realize the damage that had occurred. Two thirds of his entire ship had been torn asunder, promptly cleaved away from the reinforced frame. It was like a hypervelocity round had shattered the spine and internal organs of this mechanical creature, sending it on a downward spiral through miles upon miles of large, weathered trees. Supposedly the plant life here was strong - and the bark of those trees he'd crashed into seemed more than enough evidence to back that claim. Yuya let his eyes wander down the nearby corridor with its durasteel bulkhead battered and torn in chunks.

Was that sunlight?

Relief flooded through him at that thought. At least it was still daytime. Flames and smoke had prevented him from even getting close to the cockpit earlier, which ultimately resulted in his presence here. A simple journey to meet up with old friends and pirates ruined it all. No, more like he ruined it all.

Maybe I should've just surrendered the ship?

Regardless of the circumstances, he was alive.

He sawed a sleeve across his head, wiping away the green blood. His head hurt like all hell but he was quite sure the fires from earlier hadn't stopped. The cargo bay was the only place untouched by the flames, though its lack of any sort of crash webbing back here had sent him flying when the vessel made impact. Slowly, he began to rise from the durasteel floor.

"Hnng." Yuya groaned, clutching his stomach as he rose. A dull, aching pain crept through his body. Yet his hand came away free of blood. "Frak my life."

The man spat once more, taking stock of the ship as soon as he straightened his back. Nothing of use was here - he wasn't even carrying any cargo. Just random, empty containers that were precariously not secured during flight. They were strewn about the bay as if a tornado had whipped through it, throwing their doors open and tossing them against the durasteel bulkheads. And Yuya.

"At least they were empty," he sighed and slowly began to tread away from the sight. Towards the gashed open corridor.

Lo and behold: freedom. The tear in the side of the cargo bay was big enough for him to squeeze through, albeit carefully. He took great care in avoiding the jagged metal's splayed end, as if it were the exit wound of a gunshot. And then he fell.

It took only half a second for his back to touch solid ground, though it wasn't all too unpleasant. Wet grass clung to him as he stood once more, sending his gaze sweeping through the forest around him.

Lost.

The dull ache never really subsided. The throbbing sensation coursed through his body with each ambling step he took. The roots and gnarled vines didn't really help either, always out to send Yuya stumbling forward once again. Sighing, the man accepted his grim circumstances and forced himself to slow down his meandering pace. Enough so that he could feel the forest floor beneath his feet, avoiding all inconvenient spots.

In doing so, it let him slow down his watching eyes. This time they focused on the beauty of the land, now partially marred by the miles long gash that he and his vessel had cut through it. As painful as it was to see, there was truly nothing he could have done to prevent all of his damage. Small fires that threatened to overtake the forest were luckily dying out, probably due to earlier rainfall. Wet bark and grass never made for good kindling.

As relieving as the thought was, Yuya still had no idea where he was. The Force guided and pulled at him ever since he'd made landfall. All he did was trust in its guidance, winding through the forest in a seemingly haphazard motion.

Perhaps someone was out there?

The crash had disturbed the forest far and wide, and while it initially caused the wildlife to scatter, as time passed and the excitement (and brush fires) died down, nature began to circle back in around the wreck. Nature was extremely varied throughout the galaxy - and this place was certainly no exception.

Within the treeline, creatures were already beginning to watch the man who had just plopped down on the grass. The scavengers hoped he wouldn't get back up - the predators would be there soon to ensure of that. But, before such a fate could unfold, the man had stood up again and began to look along the treeline, taking survey of where he was. Within the forest shadows moved - the shades of creatures who were waiting for an opportunity and the courage to strike.

As the man began to make his way through the forest, barely managing to move along, the predators hiding in the shadows started to close the gap as well, still hiding but becomming bolder. Soon they would be bold enough to close in and attack.

The peace was suddenly shattered by an almost deafening roar, the sound of an irate rancor letting the thunder of it's voice echo. The panic in the forest would rise with each massive foot slam upon the ground, the giant beast closing in quick. The sounds in the surrounding forest would be equally abrupt as animal life fled in the other direction in terror.

The animals of the forest had no way of knowing that the sounds weren't real. But, the force sensitive visitor may be able to tell - the sounds were made using the force.

From the direction of the rancor sounds, a strange being would come into view as it leapt up on top of an overhead branch, crouching and peering down at the man who crawled out of the wreckage. The creature would likely be a surprising sight to behold - a small S'kytri boy with skin as blue as the ocean, white markings covering him like the Tide, wild golden hair.

The look in his eye told immediately - he was feral. If this wasnt hint enough, his messy hair, wild demeanor, and complete lack of any sort of equipment or clothing certainly confirmed any suspicions. His massive wings remained spread wide as he peered at the human. He seemed to take survey for a moment, before leaping to ground level, approaching on all fours slowly, intent on investigating this human.

Oh he knew he'd made quite a ruckus. Animals had already began to prowl in closer, curious as to what new creature had arrived and disturbed their peaceful paradise. For the most part, a very weak and lackluster shield of the Force kept most of the more aggressive ones at bay. Still, Yuya stunk to the high heavens of blood - the telltale stench of weakened and ready prey for those same predators. Luckily, the sun still hung high in the sky and warded off many of them. The night was their time to prowl and very few had made their presences known.

The caws of birds, fluttering wings, and rustles in the underbrush were the only things that marred his path ahead.

A hand resolutely remained fixed upon his sword's handle. Was he ready to use it? Absolutely. Did he want to? Absolutely not.

Yuya coughed hard once, bringing a hand back to his abdomen. Pain still wracked his body with each step he took forward. Internal bruising and bleeding was no fun for anyone, yet none of the crimson liquid had come out with his spittle. He could only imagine how long it would take to die of a slow, painful death from inside. Not even he was trained in the arts of healing, so channeling the Force to the wound and closing it was far easier said than done.

A disturbance wracked through him just before it tore through the forest. The guttural, bestial roar resounded through the treetops. It clashed with the otherwise peaceful melody of birds and howls like a breaking glass, sending many animals scampering away for their dear lives. Yet no heavy footfalls or crashing branches marked a large creature's entry. The sword was already in his hand, brandished before him.

Blue eyes traveled around in search of the roar's source - and found nothing. Except for a strikingly blue human? Humanoid?

It rested on the branches high above, peering down with a curious gaze. Then it leaped from branch to branch until it was on the forest floor, mere meters away from Yuya.

The blade remained. "Do you speak?"

When he was spoken to, the boy's wild emerald eyes would blink in confusion, but otherwise, he would simply cock his head to the side a little in reflective response. It seemed that the little savage either didn't speak this visitor's language, or didn't speak at all. There was, however, a slight urgency to the boy's gaze as he glanced around. Just like the crash landing, his little distraction wouldn't last long. Creatures would be closing in to investigate soon enough

The mysterious blue s'kytri vagabond glanced over the space visitor, and it could almost be seen in his eyes that the gears were spinning in Tyde's head. Though feral, Tyde could be surprisingly perceptive, and he could tell that this human was civilized... like those from villages nearby. Perhaps he should lead the visitor to a village? He could tell that the man had been limping, and certainly had to be injured if he had been inside of that large metal monstrosity as it came crashing to the planet surface.

Ever vigilant, Tyde moved a little closer silently. Slowly his right hand reached out toward the visitor, his eyes glancing to the treeline cautiously a few times. It didn't seem at all that this boy intended to harm Yuya, he wasn't striking out, merely trying to make contact.

If he wasn't stopped, Tyde's fingertips would make a soft connection to the visitor's torso, just below the sternum. Tyde's perceptions were telling him that there were injuries inside, bleeding.

Tyde wasn't extremely experienced in healing others, but he had become quite adept at force healing himself after tussles in the forest. He concentrated on the force, on mending specifically, as he had when healing himself. He didn't know how effective he would be in the force healing attempt, but perhaps he could help the man recover enough for the journey to the village, where better medical attention likely waits... If they could survive the journey through the wilds
