Play of the Black Sun in Lok (Lereana's Intro RP)

Lereana was able to breach the cave network entrance and easily took down two Black Sun goons in her breaching maneuver with Kohr and Jax. Then she heard Maple's transmission:

"Maple to ground team, I think I softened it up for you. Looks like the missile tracking me took out an adminstrative section and...barracks...from the looks of it." She said as she flew by. "Standing by for your pick up request. Will continue scouting until contacted."

"Roger that! Thanks for the heads up, Harte!" Lereana replied using her earpiece communicating through the radio frequency she'd given to Maple. "Kohr, scan. It's a little dark in there."

Kohr replied as he took point from the formation while he was wearing goggles for his eyes, making him see WhiteHot images while it senses movement as well. "I got incoming! Damn it... Not Black Sun."

"X-Light," said Jax. "I can smell it."

Soon, the three were able to see a rocket launched from the darkness...

"INCOMING!!!" Lereana shouted.

Myrian was following from behind the squad. As they were inside the cave network through the breach maneuver the other three had made, she could relax a little since she's behind the party. Still, she had to be careful as she was still at a dangerous place. Armed with her dual pistols and a short sword holstered at her back, she was sure to impress. But it was about to be tested when she saw a rocket come up from the darkness of the cave network towards them.

"Damn!! GET DOWN!!!!" Myrian said that before she ran past all the party members. She felt her world slow down as her reflexes increase. She holsters one pistol before making a fist with her free hand. While the rocket got fairly close to her, she quickly swung a punch towards the missile head-on. The rocket explodes, and it should have shocked the other three since there was some smoke. They would be surprised however after the smoke clears. Myrian was exhibiting Force abilities, with an enabled Force-Barrier which is half-domed shape in front of her fist in which it serves as a shield. She panted for using the Force for shielding the team behind her. She then aimed her dual pistol towards the darkness and fired at the shooters. "Wanna cook us all?!! You're all crazies, you lots!!!" She said this pushing forward, eventually thinking of purposely switching her Force-alignment towards the dark...

Lereana's brief surprise of Myrian coming forward ahead of them made her want to warn the smuggler of what's coming, but it was too late. She followed Myrian's request and she along with Kohr and Jax lowered their heads and braced. Soon, they saw smoke out of a rocket's explosion. But as the smoke cleared, she was surprised to see some sort of Force-dome made in front of Myrian's fist.

"Wait... That's- A Jedi?" Lereana muttered to herself before she heard Myrian mock her foes from beneath the darkness of the cave network. "PUSH!!!"

Soon, she along with Kohr and Jax followed Myrian and got behind the shield while they all pushed forward. They fired at X-Light's troopers, carefully making sure to stay in cover if they're being fired on.

She then contacts Maple for an update. "We're moving faster than expected, Harte! Make sure our ride's ready by the time we finish mopping up here!"

"Roger." Maple said in reply to Vainscepter still drawing small arms fire at her ship. "I'm still giving these guys something to shoot at. I don't think they have any more real anti-ship stuff at the moment. But the sensors are reading all sorts of hostiles deep within converging on your location. Whatever you are doing, you need to find those bombs quickly. I'm talking dozens of tangos heading for you. You are running out of time. Fifteen minutes before I won't be able to land near you," she advised, swerving right in her ship, doing an aerial survey. Skip. The snakes were whispering of sin, reminding her of her ancient mission. Skip. Not real.

Maple kept close to the extraction point, even as a rifle bolt occasionally pinged the shields.

She groaned, knowing she has to hurry up. "Okay, stick tight and we'll navigate quick in! Path ahead, look! It splits. Kohr, take point with Jax! I'll stay with Myrian! Go!!"

Kohr nodded and knew the Captain was sure of it. "Careful, Cap. Jax, let's go!"

Eventually, the other two finally split and open fire on the other way of the fork while Lereana was clearing hostiles from up front of Myrian.

"Myrian, whatever you're doing, keep on doing it! We aren't gonna have a problem, will we?" She asked, wondering if Myrian will turn on her.

Keeping up the pressure against her enemies, she noticed Lereana was making plans to make sure they cover ground much faster. She even noticed they split up into two teams, with the former Captain now with her. Her amount of Force was consistent as she kept deflecting laser bolts from the enemies ahead. As Lereana asked if Myrian would be able to keep it up...

"I think I'll be switching tactics, Captain! It'll help you and me, but I just wanna release better! What do ya say we switch things up?" She asked Lereana rhetorically just before her Force alignment was changing, from the Light to the Dark. She smirked at this. "Now we'll see who's going to screw the other." She then charged forward, using Force Sprint to evade bolts from her enemies before firing her own set of rounds with her dual blaster pistols. She laughed boisterously, as if she wants to lose herself to the amount of excitement she gains in taking lives...

Lereana groans, knowing that Myrian wasn't herself. But worse, her companion is still helping. She never thought this would be possible from a long while. Then she started to contact Maple.

"Maple, we're almost at one of the bomb locations! We still expecting any more from the barracks you spotted for us?"

Maple made one more pass overhead.

"Nah. Anybody in the barracks is toast. But you stilllllllll have a lot of tangos within minutes of you. Why not just destroy the place using what you are after? Big enough shock'll bury all of them. You're outnumbered as is. And I only have so much fuel. Your pickup window is down to ten minutes. If you're gonna do something brilliant now is the time."

As Maple flew the Erika, she did not notice the crimelord imprisoned in her cargo hold had slipped free his bonds, and was slowly, creeping up behind her...

"Damn it," Lereana muttered in response. "Okay. Good call. If there's too many of them around, then we'll have to detonate the bombs. Kohr, Jax, you two copy that?"

"Copy that, Cap!" Kohr responded while sounds of blaster fire were on the other line. "We'll zoom in on our find while you find yours! Check the armory sections! Detections of Syc-Rattel Metallic deposits, the material part of the bomb was made of, is detected there."

"Thanks, Kohr! Keep an open line! Myrian, let's go!! Follow my lead!"

Myrian kept firing her dual pistols not caring of Lereana's words or orders. She kept laughing boisterously, taking out whoever is in her way. "Die...! Die, die, die, die, DIE!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!" There was even a time two X-Light soldiers were taken out by two separate shots while putting her arms apart from each other across her body. "Captain, I'm enjoying myself! It's like following a donkey to a parade!!! NOBODY KILLS THE DONKEY, AHAHAHHAA!!!!"

From then, Myrian was enjoying herself as she shot hostiles dead as she pleased.

Lereana growled taking out another two Black Sun goons trying to protect a smaller room she found interesting. It was strange since the two were serious in guarding it when she encountered them, like they'd die before letting anybody in. That put it in her interests.

"Myrian, keep the pressure on anyone coming at us! I'll investigate a room! I think I found the armory here..." Lereana then separated just before she raised her rifle up. Just as she approached the doors, she readied her foot for a kick just before she pushed the door forcefully, knocking the wooden door down. With available tac-lights on her weapon, she looked at the seemingly dark room. She saw storage boxes and ammunition boxes with weapons right beside them.

Behind every other object, she saw a familiar shape. Going in further into the room, she finally found what she was looking for.

"I found it. Kohr, I just found my bomb. Status?"

Kohr's channel was only static. Just before she went into the armory, she remembered having listened to Kohr finding a possible trace of the bomb. Then she figured today that something was jamming his signal to come through. Shaking her head and the feeling of doubt, she started to arm the bomb. "Myrian, entertain them if you gotta. I'm arming the bomb right now!!"

Myrian was defending the last place she saw Lereana, near where the two guards were shot and were originally protecting a small room she believed where her companion was. Her dual pistols did the talking for her for the next several seconds. As she was letting the others close in and having her reflexes work for her, she let some Black Sun goons close in to her before she handled them physically, punching one in the face, and kicking another before forcing their heads against each other, knocking them out. At the heat of the moment, she sensed a danger that was also overhead. She sensed one other thing with the Force, and she was sure it was that pilot... But this other one beside her had dark intentions, giving her a hint of the dark side of the Force playing with this mystery blip.

Myrian chuckled, aware that [member="Maple Harte"] was flying a ship herself and that it's obvious before she opened her comms to the pilot... "Ms. Maple... I think a friend of yours wants to play wit' ya."

 

[Guest]

"Wait a minute what? Ahhhh!" Maple exclaimed as the nearly naked crime lord tackled her.

"AIN'T NOBODY PUTTING MY FACE IN A BUCKET OF SCORPIONS!" The man shouted as she struggled to keep his thumbs from her eyes, even as the Silent Erika fell from the sky.

"I'M NOT EVEN SURE I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT THAT!" Maple protested as she fought him, the world spinning, ship alarms ringing. She kicked him in the face with a heave of rage and shoved him off grabbing the controls and pulling up barely. But the man recovered and tried to attack so she executed a role in the air flinging him head first into a bulkhead. She heard his neck break and sighed. Dammit. At least she had the kyber.

"Thanks for the warning Myrian. Vainscepter! Five minutes, status?"

Lereana ran out of the armory... She then responded to Harte's call... "Done! I'm still awaiting Kohr's confirmation!"

"Kohr here! Just steam-rolled through some goons. Bad formation with X-Light. Anyway... We found the other bomb as where predicted. Took a little while, but it's armed now."

"Good work. Everyone, let's head towards some open space. Myrian, that means you too. We're heading out of here!" Lereana shouted her orders and decided to pull the dual-pistol smuggler with her...

"Ehehe... Glad to help, Missie." Myrian said this just before she saw Lereana come out of the armory. She looked around, seeing no reinforcements were around before approaching the captain. Hearing from the comms that both bombs were found and armed, she was shocked. They had to get out quick.

At this time, Myrian's dark side of the Force was fading and her normal self was back.

As she was being pulled out of the area by Lereana, she then asked something to the captain. "I gotta ask. Ya willin' to go with me on a a few jobs? I can always welcome an extra hand."

Lereana was leading Myrian before she raised her rifle in front of her and fired a few blaster shots, killing off some random Black Sun goons who came to surprise her. It didn't work, and she moved on.

Then she heard Myrian's offer. "Thing is, I'm not really looking for a quick buck. Maybe, and maybe not. Thing is, I gotta find Major Akksel. But if there's any help you need, contact me. First... we need to get out of this alive."

Jax called in to interrupt Lereana and Myrian's conversation. "Jax here! We got a problem! Grenade explosion trapped my leg down... AGGH!!! It's stuck!! I can't move!"

Kohr was distressed when he spoke up. "Steel columns... Not good. Too heavy...! Screw it, we can't stay here!"

"Kohr, don't worry about me. I'll deal with these scum while I'm here." Jax said this while he was heard shooting his blaster. "Those bombs are about to go off!! GO!!! GO NOW!!!"

Lereana cursed a few times before Kohr to leave Jax. She didn't like it. But she was left with no choice. She needed to survive if she wants to see her own objective through. "I'm sorry..."

Jax chuckled on the comms. "Don't worry about me, Captain. This isn't so bad." Then his comms were cut off, presumably because it was shot off or he voluntarily removed his earpiece.

Lereana grunted in in despair and called up on [member="Maple Harte"]. "Harte, expect only 3 for lift!! I hope you got a quick extract! I set my bomb to five minutes! And we're almost up!!"

Maple heard the transmission and immediately sent a reply. "Roger Vainscepter! Heading towards LZ now!"

Maple pitched the craft downward cruising close over the ground. She felt bad for Vainscepter, having lost one of her own in spite of surviving the initial treachery. She got her scoped blaster rifle and headed to the ramp to cover the approach of the others after she landed, timing the landing to just when they should be reaching the extract point. It reminded her of extractions during her days as a Shadow: Dead of night, one shot pick up. She spotted one Black Sun merc leading a squad past some rocks nearby to try and flank her and she opened fire, hitting the leader in the shoulder, making him scream, drop to the ground in agony while his squad rushed to try and pull him behind cover, only to get one of their heads pierced by one of her bolts. She fired in the direction of the leader, who was still on the ground, a well built human in red armor, still clutching at his arm, trying to lure another of his friends out. She ducked pings of return fire from another direction, wheeled left and shot one man who she had sensed approaching from low in the grass in the face. She got one one knee planting three shots in three others about to engage the people she had flown here. She breathed slowly, switching eyes as she looked through the scope, keeping both open to see all threats in her line of site. She laid down suppressing fire with her rifle, waving at Vainscepter.

"Hurry! We gotta go NOW!" Maple shouted

"Get in, get in, GET IN!!!" Lereana shouted out just as she was seeing the extraction point, along with the Silent Erika there. "Inside!! GO!!!"

Kohr then made the sprint and jumped into Maple's ship. Lereana stayed behind for a while to provide cover fire, and retaliated at some goons attempting to close in. Firing burst shots, she was able to make good hits compensating for their distance. "Come on, Myrian!! MOVE!!!"

Myrian kept running right at the Silent Erika behind Lereana. She was occasionally flashing her Force Shield behind her to block blaster bolts from hitting her. "Sorry, but I'm not dyin' today!"

Her boasted chuckle came just before she jumped into the Silent Erika.

Lereana then acknowledged Myrian getting into the ship before she herself walked back while firing shots at the goons before she sat on the ship and slowly crawled, firing more shots from her Nova Rifle.

Kohr then shouted at the pilot. "Captain's in! Now's a good time to get off this place!"
