Doc Koltray
Snake in the Grass
Doc Koltray didn't enjoy sharing.
It was a condition of his upbringing. Where he came from, you took what you want, and anyone taking something from you was a thief. And by his sensibilities, thieves lost their hands. He really didn't enjoy when stuck-up hunters tried stealing his kill. Doc Koltray figured he might take some hands today.
The Fillithar wrapped around himself, surveying the situation. He could hear Gamorreans further into the Swamp Glory, and his eyes narrowed, the irises constricting into slits. He thought fast, turning his cybernetic tail toward a grate between the floor panels. A secret compartment opened in the bounty hunter's appendage, revealing a heavy-grade fusioncutter. With deft tail movements, the snake burned a rough circle in the cover, and slithered into the floor.
---
With deft computer skills, Iella was able to unlock the door of the ship, and slip inside. It was a rough ride as the Glory tilted upward, towards the heavens. The sounds of stomping feet could be heard in the distance, getting closer, and a Gamorrean turned the corner, leveling a heavy blaster at Iella, off-center as it tried to keep it's balance on the rocking vessel.
Over the ship's comms, a reedy, terrified voice rang out. "An assassin! On my ship?! These karking pigs said they had a fortress! No assassins will ever get to you, they said. We'll kill them before you even notice, they said! Idiots!"
