Elaine need more phrik for her armour, so she had to head off to open a new mine, she hated doing this though. This time she was off to a meet a seller on the world of setos, the man owned a mine on the planet. She hoping to negotiate a price over tiffin, failing that she might try to usurper his mine and take it for herself. The mine was actually based underwater, and she would have to take a submersible to get to his office.

She finally arrived on the planet head down towards the dockyard, with her a small security detail. They she was with group of her housecarls, but they were not dressed in power armour just light armour and H.T.E. blaster pistol. She did not expect trouble, but she always liked some type of bodyguard around her. She was almost skipping to the dockyard, where she greeted by one his submariners, Lady Thul I presume, and these are your escort I take it? She looked at the strange looking man who seemed to be missing a leg. Yes I am, and these are my personal security guards. He gave look, as to say why are you looking at my leg, as he did not like it, but he had job to do so he just said, Welcome aboard Nemo

Soon after this she boarded his little submersible.......

The submersible was shaped like a shark, a very large shark to say the least this was apparently something to do with the local wildlife. There were some big fish in these seas, she did wonder if that how he lost his leg. As they head down she could see the fish change colour, she was told this was something to do with how much light pentrated the sea, and they were going quite deeper, and the fish began to turn red.

They eventually reached biosphere, this was where the head and and sellar offices were located. She had her men got of the submersible named nemo. Then began to move over to his office, so she could talk to him about setting up phrik contract, she planned on doing this for two reason deniability to her other contract and to get more phrik if need for her armour range. She watched greeted by oldish man with big bushy grey beard named Samuel, he took of his hat when greeting her, to show he was bald on top. Though he was dressed in fine clothes either, apparently he was more of hands on boss. He went down himself to check the operation was going aright, so he was dressed in his mining ppe, though his was blue to show he was different to other works who wore yellow white or green.

He then showed to a seat, and her security detail waited outside, well all but two of them.Then he spoke, So you're Elaine Thul, I thought you would be older seeing as you got the fancy title. So you're here to be buy phrik, well I got bad news for you, unless you're willing to pay a premium your out look. As I am snowed under at the moment, and we can't mine any faster, due to the fact we are under the sea. She looked at him in little despair, he could told er that before she came here. She then replied ​How much of a premium are we talking about? He grinned it was true she was desperate for phrik, Well dear we talking double the normal price if I am to let down my regular customers for you. She frowned and said ​I have to think about it, I presume my quarters are ready? He smiled and said Sure they over there, but your men will have to sleep in bunk house, I am afraid only room for one bed. She did not like this and neither did her security chief, she was being stitched up. She head out to her room it was basic room, with just a small quilt on bed. She kept three guards outside while she had tiffin to ponder what to do next.

After tiffin she decide to try again with mine owner, she head out of room. As she did she was immediately flanked by two of her housecarls, and then they raido two other guards to take their place. She head to his little smelly office, as she was still annoyed with his underhanded extortion of her. As she got to it, she was met by another woman who promptly told her I am Val his secretary, and he's down the mine and won't be up till tea time. She was more than just annoyed by this, he knew she was thinking about his offer, he was a rude little old man. Not only is he trying to extort money out of her, he also vanished down his mine while she was considering it. Well tell Samual I shall be waiting for him, and to contact me as soon as he comes up. Her voice was obviously annoyed, and she could not hide it. The woman just smiled said Yes dear as soon as he up and had his meal break, he might be willing to talk then. She did about turn she head into his mine, she was angry and then as she reached the mine head. Her security guard then told her My Lady I can't let you down there, as we don't know our way round, or what we are doing. As they be unknown dangered, and we can't safeguard you. Sorry. She looked at him, he was right but she did not like it. So she turned round and head to her dorm, in a huff.

After a few hours she got knock on her door, Samuel was back in his office and this time she was going to take to him. She began to move back to office, this time she was told, by his overbearing secretary, He is busy, with another client and you have to wait. She was a little annoyed by this, but she took her seat and waited. One her guards got her a cup of tea, and she sat down and began to calm down. She had to be tranquil when dealing with the annoying little bearded man, yes calm and relaxed.

After an hour she was getting techie, and board of this waiting game. She had finished reading The Guide, and was caught up on latest news. She even read the agony aunt column, she even done the puzzles in the back and read the cartoons. Then the man came out and they shook hands with each other, then the bearded man beckoned her in, he said Don't bother sitting down unless you can pay treble. He told her, and as he did her face dropped. She looked at him and half kill him there and then, she turned round and said ​You're an extortionist, and I won't pay. She then head back to submersible, she was getting to the surface she have to find another source of phrik. The question was were, was she going to.

After her trip back on the submersible called nemo, she head out to a hotel and spa. She was going have to try and find another mine buy from, and she wanted to relax though. She had a penthouse suite, and her men had the floor below. Whist she was relaxing getting her toe nails done, she found out by overhearing gossip, that the man who went down to see the little man, was actually trying to buy the mine. She then checked on the holo net to do more research, apparently he has been looking for buyer for his mine for year. Order books were full, he just wanted somewhere to retire to. She did more delving and found out his children, were mercenaries for the one sith but died at battle for teta. After that he has been looking for someone to buy the mine, as he just wanted to retire and enjoy what he had left.

So why was he playing hard ball with the price she wondered, she decide to see who the buyer may have been. She began searching on the holonet, for other who might been interested in it. Who looked like the man she saw down there, this was to no availe and eventually she head up to suite for a shower and t get changed.

As she came down t bar for evening drink, with her commanders and just a spot of socialising. Then she see the man who was in the office, go to the bar. She then send one her commanders to bar, to invite him over to them. He decide to come over, and brings his drink of brandy with him. The bar war complementary unless ordering fine wine, which meant there was no need to offer a drink.

So I hear your intrested in buying Samuels mine. She enquired to him, he looked a little nervous at this. As he was surrounded by her mercenaries, and the question was rather direct.

Yes I am but the price is steep, but he does have custom base, and a very deep mine. Which is fruitful, so he can charge a lot for it. Though he asking a little more than asking price, but that just part negotiations. He replied in business like manner, then added Are you trying to buy it as well?

She looked at him and said No I was just after the ore, but he kept putting the price up on me. She sighed

He laughed as she spoke The old coot did the same to me, said you were a buyer as well.

After that they exchanged stories, and had relaxing evening till it was time for bed. Though she now had the intention of buying the mine, after all it was worth something and was for sale.

Next day she went to her bank, she needed to see if she did have spare capital to buy the mine out right. She need phrik ore, and she need more customers. This was something she needed, and the fact she did not like the old coot made things easier. Though she did feel sorry for the man, who was trying to buy it, but all fair in love and war. After awhile she found out how much she could borrow, it was short of what the old man asked for, but she did not care she was getting it.

After a few hours of going through the business plan with the bank, agreeing an apr and asset she use to secure the loan. She had agreed very agreeable terms with the bank, and was ready to meet the old bearded coot Samuel again though this time he was doing business if he liked or not, and then she was going to sack that secretary of his. She then head to dock to meet up with the peg leg again, as she did she marched straight on to the submersible. Then looked at the captain who was coming up to her to ask what she was doing, she waved her hand in front of him and smiled You want to take me to see your boss. He replied Yes I think I should take you to see my boss. All hands we going down, to the mine. Soon after she was on her way back to the mine, and this time she was playing hard ball.

Elaine got of the submersible nemo, as it docked with the biodome. She then with her housecarls went straight to office, the secretary tried to stop her on way through. As she tried one her housecarls, just bundle her to one side. She then went into office and sat down, on his seat as she waited for him to come from the mine again. He did this time quite quickly, as stormed into his office, he shouted YOU'RE NOT BUYING ANYTHING FROM ME, NO GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE, AND OUT MY DOME. HOW THE FETHING DEAR YOU COME INTO MY OFFICE AND HAVE YOUR MEN MANHANDLE MY STAFF! She smiled and said You sir have been playing me, sit down know. She then used the force, to pull the a chair under his legs. He then looked at her and in angry tone of voice said What the feth! Then she told him, That man you said was buying ore from you, he was trying to buy the business. She waved her hand in front of him, to use a mind trick, Now how much is it worth, and I think you should sell it to me for half price, seeing you upset me. He looked at er and said Look I am sorry for upsetting you, I was just playing customers off each other, I will tell you what the mine worth three million, I sell it to you for one and half deal. She smiled and said Deal, this was the truth as trying to sell it for three and half million to other man. Soon the paper were drawn up, and she brought the mine.

She then turned to secretary as paper were stamped and said Oh you're fired, now go. She promptly gave Elaine a filthy look, and head out.

After week of going through the books of orders the man had, it was tight to fill these orders and put her own in. Though she could do it, if she used her droid as well to extract extra ore, and make new cutting area. She brought some droids from the market, and then began a new cutting area. Whilst she did this, she need a manger for the site. After all she did not want to do day to day management of a mine, that's what were. she then sent a message to man she met in the bar, he came down without much persuasion. Then came to her office, and sat where he showed him to sit.

So you were interested in buying the mine, weird how you got cheaper than the base price. His tone was semi accusing, but he was not bitter about it.

She smiled and replied Yes it is, how ever I do need someone to run this place for me. I was wondering who you had in mind, if you don't mind me asking.

Me His answer was short and straight to the point.

Hmm well would you like a job for me then, as I need someone to run this mine for me, as my personal business means I can't stay in one place for long. She explained to him.

He smiled the woman didn't want to own the mine, it was just happen to suit her needs. How about a share in the mine, so I working for a profit. It keep me benefitting from my own labour, and I would be more motivated to please the customers.

She listened and smiled, it was not bad idea, Okay on one condition you have to buy your share out of initial profits, say a twenty percent stake and a salary for tax reasons.

He got up and offered to shake her hand, she got up and shook his, the deal was made. He would run the mine for her, and she would have the controlling stake. This meant everything would still go through her accountants, and as such if tried t pull a fast one, they would know, and she would deal with him.

After all the other issues with the mine were resolved, and the work force accepted the new boss. Elaine was watching her first shipment being taken to nemo, as it was loaded her and her housecarls, head on board as well. A group thul security did come into the mine, but they were just basic security nothing special. She then head out to surface, she watched out of a port window as they climbed back up out of the sea. She realized she was in the money again, and everything was going to be alright.

After watching the fish, and what seemed like giant squid get eaten by something else. They were back on dry land, and she watched her cargo being unloaded by the dock side. She had another security team guard it as well. As she did not trust her rivals, not to try and steal from her. She then saw the various shipments being sent of world, and one as going to her world. She and this was going to be regular from now on, she had the ore she had a design, and she may even have customers. She smiled as board her ship to go home, back to her small place.
