SPECIAL FEATURES
- Programmable Biomolecular Camouflage: Janus Polymer can alter skin tone, surface texture, and general appearance. Capable of mimicking humanoid complexions, tattoos, scars, or even entirely different faces with advanced sculpting.
- Breathable, Skin-Tight Fit: Wears like a second skin. Offers no drag, noise, or unnecessary layering. Ideal for crawling, climbing, or slipping through narrow access points.
- Thermal & Radiation Resistant Layering: Passive Leidenfrost-based insulation renders the user effectively invisible to thermal scans for short durations.
- Mask-Grade Surface Control: When cured to facial form, the suit can completely conceal facial identity, matching expressions with proper augmentation.
- Zero-Sound Motion Weave: No rustle, scrape, or impact sounds. Footsteps and movement are acoustically null in close-quarters.
- Biometric Seal: Once worn and sealed, the suit cannot be removed without specific release codes or cutting—ensuring identity concealment during missions.
STRENGTHS
- Perfect Infiltration Skin: Allows total visual concealment through programmable mimicry of skin, hair, scars, tattoos, and musculature—when paired with a skilled impersonator or mask artist.
- Practically Weightless: No combat fatigue, maximum acrobatic potential. The suit clings and moves as if it were the user's own epidermis.
- Thermal, Radiation, and Chemical Protection: Maintains survivability in hostile environments such as reactors, cryogenic vaults, or irradiated ruins.
- EMP Resilient: Because of its purely passive design, it is unaffected by most ion-based disruption fields and surveillance scramblers.
WEAKNESSES
- No Armor Value: Provides no kinetic, energy, or lightsaber protection whatsoever. A simple vibroknife or blaster bolt can end the wearer.
- Requires Curing: The Janus Polymer must be pre-cured to suit the mission profile. Once set, the form is locked unless reprocessed—no real-time shapeshifting.
- Toxic in Raw State: Before curing, the material is extremely irritating and can be dangerous without protective measures during suit preparation.
DESCRIPTION
The PhantomSkin Nullsuit represents the bleeding edge of clandestine espionage wear—a commission so delicate and precise that only a handful of operatives across the galaxy have ever worn one. Designed in the depths of Polis Massa by VesperThread and infused with N&Z Laboratories' revolutionary Janus Polymer, the PhantomSkin is less a uniform and more a disguise etched onto the body itself.Once cured, the suit cannot be distinguished from real skin by any conventional means. The wearer can impersonate a known figure, slip unseen through biometric scanners, or simply vanish into the visual noise of the underworld. Its lack of armor is by design—this is not an outfit for warriors, but for ghosts. The wearer is expected to kill before being seen, to speak only when necessary, and to disappear long before alarms are raised.
The suit is sealed from neck to toe with a self-adhering neural sheath that syncs with muscular movement. Facial coverings are optional, but when applied, transform the user's identity entirely—with enough detail to pass short-range retinal scans and low-grade voiceprint analysis (when paired with internal implants).
