Phantom Pains (Open to Sith)

CYszv.jpg

Relatively speaking, he was well treated for a prisoner of war. The Sith weren't monsters in that sense, they were evil in others ways. Small tortures. Foods being replaced that ones that made his stomach upset. Some days with showers, a week or two without one. It was minimal torture, but it was starting to get to him. They'd wake him up, and force him to stay awake for either a long time, or induce him to sleep for a long period and make him unable to sleep for a while. Sometimes they'd speak in languages he didn't understand, and then sometimes they wouldn't speak to him at all, operating in silence. He often wondered when the real torture would start, when the pliers and the kneecap breaking.

His leg was gone. A crude amputation took it's place.

It hurt to move.

Sometimes he still felt it. A stinge of pain. Phantom limb pain.

He'd hear music sometimes, music he liked, some he didn't. It was always there. He heard hymns and songs of Empires past, and in general. Sometimes they'd play awful music, screeches. Sometimes, they'd play static for hours upon hours. Hours and hours of static. He screamed once, an angry cry of anguish over the situation at hand. It wasn't exactly unwarranted, he'd been subjected to a small amount of torture and practically needed a form of release.

He knew they'd eventually come and question him, try to persuade him to join their side. They all knew he had no secrets or information to share. If he did have any secrets, he wouldn't be a good Mandalorian. They were far too open and honest about what they did and how they did it. But they probably wanted more. They wanted to break him. To destroy his psyche.

His anger and his rage kept him going. Thoughts of home kept him going. Thoughts of seeing [member="Aditya Amadis"] and [member="Azrael"] again kept him going. He needed those. Without it, he'd probably end up going mad.

Or, if they kept playing the music, he'd go mad.

Elaine of house Thul, had just come from alderaan. To check up on recent prison intake, their quite a few. Their lizards had been taken else where, and their equipment was sent to be analyzed. She was trying to full fill a promise she made, to find out where she could help. Though she have to do it, without compromising herself. As she was not going to risk death, at the hands of glitter.

She then download all the prisoners names, and deleted the records saying she did this. She doubled checked, to make sure she got every file linking her to doing this. As she was not going to get discovered, for not doing the basics. She noticed their was a important name on the list, a rally master by name of [member="Preliat Mantis"] she wonder if he was going to be interrogated. Also would he brake if he was, she decide she best at least. Try give him hope, if he had that, well he might not be as easy to brake. She head to his cell, and entered it. After making sure the cctv, was disabled and running on a loop. She also made sure not the guards remembered her. She then looked at him, and said Are you the mandalorian rally master?

The blast door to the prison hissed open, revealing a gargantuan cetacean in dark robes and chitinous armor. He lumbered down the rows of cells until he reached [member="Preliat Mantis"]'. The Herglic stood outside the cell's confines as it would be impossible to fit in without crushing one of the other two.

He noted the small female inside and crossed his enormous arms. One flipper held a set of pliers.

Black, pitiless eyes watched [member="Elaine Thul"]. "Don't mind me," he rumbled in an impossibly deep bass, "Continue, acolyte. Hauum."

His flipper toyed idly with the pliers. He did not enjoy bloodshed without meaning, but he would do what was necessary. And yes, he would take a certain grim satisfaction in making this Mandalorian suffer. Perhaps the fool would come to have an inkling of the agony their pointless invasions had cost the populace.

She looked around, their was a monster by the name of [member="Hion the Herglic"]. Though he was not all bad, as he did run an orphanage. He my first interrogation, any hint`s. she asked, she was hoping to find out how to send the data, and to who. Though know she was going to have to, she thought quickly, and then said I need to find out how their hud system work, I figured if he did not know. He be able to tell me who did, after all he is a rally master.

[member="Preliat Mantis"]

"Mandalorians do not understand anything but pain, Acolyte."

The whale pointed toward the prisoner with the pliers, shaking it once. "Though you could rip the information from his mind, if you have the talent. The owner of this facility is one such man. He will be here soon, I expect."

Releasing a puff of air from his blowholes, Orcus pondered the question, well aware that [member="Preliat Mantis"] could hear every word he spoke. "Continue. Offer him freedom. Offer him luxury. If he declines... punish him, or I will do it for you."

He clicked the pliers together.

[member="Preliat Mantis"]

I see, well mandalorian. You heard the sith lord [member="Hion the Herglic"]. Tell me who knows about how your hud system works, then I will get you food and water. If you don`t I will bolt you, and I have to say I have no control over it yet. So it may hurt a lot, or it may not hurt at all. The truth was she could only get it to do little pain, but she hoped he was willing to play along.

"If you can't figure out how a simple HUD system works, then I suggest you all go find some basic software engineer and determine it yourselves. And also..."Preliat sat up in his bed, narrowing his eyes at the girl. He took her in, like he was stalking prey back home in the sands. He clicked his tongue. He'd remember her. The innocent face that was not at all what it seemed. He looked between the two, shaking his head.

"When was the last time you updated your information? I'm a Field Marshal, not a Rally Master. And also, I'm an Epicanthix, your little trickery of the mind through the force won't work. Hallucinogenics or suggestion based drugs will do a better job."He leaned back in the bed, rubbing his eyes.

"Do you all have anymore questions?"

[member="Hion the Herglic"] [member="Elaine Thul"]

He was dumb, like she thought most mandalorians where. She had to get angry with him to save her own neck, as it would be all for nowt other wise. She remembered how much she hated glitter drooling on her, then funneled that thought through her arm, then into her hand. As came to her hand, a bolt of lighting leap out of her hand heading straight for [member="Preliat Mantis"]. As it was about to hit, she said I want to know how you designed it, they are better than mine!

[member="Hion the Herglic"]

Orcus laid an enormous flipper on the young girl's shoulder. "Enough."

The prisoner was correct. HUD systems were no state secret by any stretch of the imagination... but Orcus had wanted to see how the warrior responded to pain. He clacked his teeth together, features splitting into a wide smile.

"I believe it is my turn."

The Herglic stepped forward, his immense girth filling up the whole of the cell. Eight hundred pounds of blubber stood between [member="Preliat Mantis"] and the door. Orcus' wide shoulders scraped against the walls. He turned his squat neck to look over his shoulder, a difficult task for one of his species.

"Do not watch."

Not that the acolyte could, what with a 7 foot monstrosity blocking her view and all. Orcus' other flipper swung up, holding a stun gun. He fired one shot point blank at the prisoner.

[member="Elaine Thul"]

"Don't you dare turn away. Or I'll kill you. I'll kill everyone you know. I'll burn your homes with your family in it, and I'll make sure your existence is wiped from the face of the galaxy. Don't you turn away."

The pain was...indescribable. But not unbearable. A former Null Hockey player and a Mandalorian, Preliat had gone through an incredible amount of trauma recently. His body shook and convulsed with the jolts of electricity, before the muscles in his body tensed and he became rigid, the electric current surging through his body.

However, the Mandalorian slowly managed to raise one hand.

And he pointed it at the girl.

Orcus brought the pliers down promptly on the outstretched hand.

No questions preceded the first blow, for Orcus had little use for questions. The beating was more than just a consequence of the epicanthix's defiance. As Orcus raised and brought down the pliers toward Preliat's hand, the whale thought of Teta. He could have done more to help. He should have done more. The blood of the dead, both his brethren and the inhabitants, those were upon his head.

This would be his atonement.

Physical strength enhanced by the Force and the orbalisk armor he wore, a blow from Orcus could send a human flying, or shatter a hand as if it were glass.

A stun bolt could knock a human out for thirty minutes. A wookiee for five. Orcus only needed one.

"You mandalorians are a proud people. Proud of your history. Proud of your strength. I will not kill you, for your culture honors the dead. No. I will humble you. You are a shell of a man, your only depth consisting of bravado."

Orcus punched him in the face with enough force to break a nose, then left.

[member="Preliat Mantis"] [member="Elaine Thul"]

He started to laugh as she hit him lightening, she could not believe how dumb he was. She winced as [member="Hion the Herglic"] passed her, she then got told not to look. Yes my lord, she replied then the mandalorian said "Don't you dare turn away. Or I'll kill you. I'll kill everyone you know. I'll burn your homes with your family in it, and I'll make sure your existence is wiped from the face of the galaxy. Don't you turn away." She decide to ignore him, and head back out. He would never be the same man after this. If he kept mouth shut, she may have been able to help him. Though she would still loyalty to the free peoples of galaxy, by telling people where they are. So they could mount a rescue. Though before she left, she got the last few months of cctv and had them, tape them selves over on a loop. So if some did investigate it, they would never find out when the loop started. She then waited at end corridor for, the lord to summon her again.

[member="Preliat Mantis"]

The force of a nearly 1-ton heavy Sith lord wearing armor, was more to say, more than enough to just break Preliat's nose. Preliat's facial bones became like glass, along with a slamming of his hand. The combination of the two overloaded his nerves and sent him into a brief state of shock, but not before he lurched forward. The pain was incredible, to say the least. He began to understand why men screamed when he hit them with something, the sensation of microfractures upon microfractures breaking your bones was to say in the least, devastating in a way.

His head slammed back against the wall, and knocked him out. He wouldn't wake up for a while. Concussion and shock would keep him out for a long, long, while.
