DESCRIPTION
An upgraded form of the ceremonial robes preferred by Guardians and their disciples, Phaiden's robes were specially made to suit his station as Gatekeeper of the Kro Var Kyber Temple. Lightweight, these robes focus on allowing the user a wide range of unimpeded motion to suit the fighting style of the Guardians. However, as the Gatekeeper Phaiden was expected to be the first line of defense against intruders. Being from the Kro Var temple, however, the attacks mostly expected were of a primitive nature.

As the native Kro Var were the primary threat, the chosen material was shell spider silk for its heavy defense against bladed weapons and light defense against blaster pistols and slugthrowers. The silk would also be underlain by a layer of coarse weave for added protection against the elements. Most direct hits from bladed weapons, even vibro weapons, will deal only kinetic damage to the user underneath and leave him free of cutting wounds. However, after enough damage, the silk's integrity will be compromised and the threads will separate - leaving the user underneath exposed to cuts.

Lightsabers and heavier blaster weapons (I.E rifles) will do much more significant damage however - with lightsabers cutting through with more than a grazing blow.

Strengths:

• Allows for unimpeded movement
• Protects against vibro & primitive blades
• Protects from most light blaster attacks & Slugthrowers (I.E blaster pistols, Slughtrower Pistol/Rifle)
• Protect from grazing lightsaber strikes

Weaknesses:

• Cannot hold up long to blaster rifle
• Does not protect from direct hits from a lightsaber
• Sustained attacks can separate silk threads
• It is not very kinetic resistant

Kind of a small formality, but if you could also mention that this was taken from the movie of "Doctor Strange/Marvel" that would be great.

- Vibroblades (And other bladed weapons): High - Kinetic: Low

Since Vibroblades are typically considered into the "Kinetic" slot of armor, you are more than able to raise the Kinetic resistances up a notch or two. You currently have plenty of room to move as this would be considered "Severely underpowered" in terms of the ratings.

Otherwise, this is just a nice and easy set of robes that is "Every day wear" kind of deal. Glad to see that some people don't always need Beskar or Phrik in their armor. lol
