Lightsaber Resistant - Made with a special alloy, this vibroknife is capable of fending off lightsaber attacks for an extended amount of time.

Heat Risk - While Lightsaber resistant, the heat generated by combating such a weapon threatens to overheat the weapon itself, potentially scorching the wielder's hand.
Power Drain - Upping the power generated by the enhanced energy cell will drain the energy cell quicker, leaving you with an otherwise standard and heavy knife.
Sheath Limits - While self-sharpening, the sheath cannot remove damage to the blade.

The PGEM "Gravetail" is a high-mass vibroblade engineered for elite melee combatants who require overwhelming power over finesse. Forged by the Priddy General Engineering and Manufacturing, this blade is composed of HPI's Dral Kayatr, a proprietary blend designed to resist prolonged contact with lightsabers—perfect for duels against Force-sensitive opponents or defending against Jedi-led boarding actions.

The "Gravetail" earns its name from the counterweighted pommel that stabilizes strikes and maximizes momentum as well as the blade-breaker design as the fuller, allowing for crushing blows that shatter standard duraplast armor and stagger even power-armored foes while potentially using the leverage offered by the blade itself to snap weaker bladed weapons. While bulkier than most vibroknives, it is finely balanced for potential two-handed use or devastating single-hand swings.

Equipped with a multi-frequency vibrocore and an enhanced energy cell, the Gravetail allows the wielder to toggle between stealthy low-hum resonance for silent operations and a high-frequency disruption mode capable of chewing through heavy plating alongside having an inbuilt energy projector to generate an energy envelope along the blade edge to further add to its destructive capabilities. The blade edge is monomolecular, and the oddly designed blade-breaker channel aids in dissipating shockwaves away from the hilt to reduce user fatigue.

Favored by shock troops and special operations commandos, the Gravetail is a symbol of brutal efficiency—a blade that doesn’t just pierce, but dominates in close quarters.
