[SIZE=11.5pt]Description:[/SIZE][SIZE=11.5pt] [/SIZE][SIZE=11.5pt]The Personal Mechanized Suit, or PMS, is a new mech built to house one pilot skillful enough to use it. (Meaning you need to make a dev thread of you training to pilot it before you can actually use it in a thread). This is a standard mech suit, capable of sustaining heavy blaster, and slug fire, but does not do so well against Anti-Armor weapons. The suit has a decent mobile speed, and a HUD that is given constant data on the on going battles it is in, with a mini-map that shows a twenty feet wide band width using the same sensory unit that would be used in a starfighter, or tank, it’s very standard, and only shows friendlies, and enemies.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11.5pt]The PMS was also built to be able to traverse just about anywhere a soldier can, specifically though not buildings though as it is too big to fit through doors. The cock-pit features a com unit that can reach any friendlies nearby, but can easily be jammed just like any other com link. The main strength of this mech suit is the heavy weapons it can use, cause who’s going to go ahead to ahead with a .50 Cal blasting away? The mech uses a air-cooling system so as to use the air around it to keep from overheating, and melting the pilot alive inside, though not paying attention to the overheating systems can, and will hurt the pilot. [SIZE=11.5pt]PMSs can not withstand lightsabers, and are quite heavy, a strong force push can knock them off balance causing the pilot to have to get back up, which takes a few minutes to do. Inside the cock-pit the pilot controls the suit through joysticks that control the arms, and hands, and pedals that control the feet. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11.5pt]Also inside are safety harnesses to keep the pilot from being rattled around inside. Entry is preformed by a hatch that opens in the back. This is a softer target as it is not as thick as the rest of the Dura-Steel frame. The PMS has a limited jump that goes about as high as a flat foot jump of an average man. It can do all basic human functions, kneel, side walk, grab, and kick, and punch, though the melees are slow, and can be dodged. It can not sustain air for the pilot in space, or underwater. [/SIZE]
