Special Features:

• Bifurcating cyclical-ignition phase (can operate underwater, but repeated or prolonged use underwater can damage lightsaber)

• Blade adjustment controls based on Anakin Skywalker and Exar Kun's lightsabres. Can adjust blade size on a spectrum from small cutting torch to normal length.
• Can adjust intensity from training (minor burns) to normal to regular cutting power, comparable to Kun's lightsabre. Cannot make blade insubstantial.
• Alchemized terentatek fang pommel produces enough poison to make a person severely ill(but not dead) upon the fang piercing the flesh. Only able to be used once every few hours.

Description: Ostanes is a craftsman first and foremost, so whilst it might appear at some point to be ironic for him to focus such attention on a lightsaber when it would be a weapon of last resort, it was and is a matter of pride for him that nothing be without it's special touches. Utilizing resources from within AEI as well as other sources, Ostanes was able to research how such things as a dimetris circuit could be by-passed, and how other things like a bifurcating cyclical ignition phase and intensity and size adjustment switches could be added. Though, to be sure, even with his natural aptitude for technology and creating things, he was unable to fully explore the depths of those abilities for the most part.

The man body of the lightsaber is made of shaped and alchemized terentatek ivory banded with durasteel, with the pommel being a specially treated fang of terentatek origins which retains a milder form of it's poison when living, able to make a poison strong enough to induce fever, vomiting, weakness, chills and joint and muscle aches (rather like the symptoms of the flu) that last for approximately thirty minutes and take anywhere from two to five minutes to set in depending on the constitution and immune system/health of the person stabbed with the fang.

A synthetic crystal rests at the heart of the blade, giving it it's deep blood red color, and several smaller crystals are set in the durasteel banding and terentatek ivory, a small bow to ostentation and aesthetics. Overall the weapon is still a novice dabbling in advanced concepts, but is a firm execution of his grasp and abilities as an Acolyte at the time of this lightsabers making.
