PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Persephone is striking in a quiet way, soft, natural, and easy to overlook. Her hair is pale, sun-warmed blonde, usually worn loose when she isn't on the clock. She has aquamarine eyes that can sometimes lighten with her emotions, but they are steady and kind. They rest on people with attentiveness rather than intrusion, calm, even if the situation isn't. There's a gentleness to her that reads as softness until it becomes clear how little actually rattles her.
She's slender rather than slight, built for endurance over strength. Even at rest, there is always a sense of balance to her posture, which is probably a holdover from her days as a Jedi Knight.
She favors simple clothing whenever possible, clean lines, and soft colors. Given that she has adopted the Mandalorian culture, there are times when her attire is reinforced with subtle armored elements beneath the fabric or worked seamlessly into the garment. Up close...She smells faintly of clean linen, vanilla, with an under layer of antiseptic. There are small signs that reveal she wasn't a simple "medic" in the past if one knows where to look. A faint scar at her wrist, another near the collarbone, are reminders that her life has been spent living close to danger...Never running away from it.
She looks gentle, and she is, but she's not fragile.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Persephone is practical, direct, and difficult to rattle. She does not seek conflict, but she does not avoid it when it becomes unavoidable. Her loyalty is based on shared survival rather than ideology. She believes Mandalorian strength is not diminished by preserving life. In her view, keeping people alive long enough to fight again, or walk away, is a form of victory. She has little patience for grandstanding, dogma, or needless cruelty, regardless of the source.
Persephone does not idealize war. She treats it as a recurring problem that must be managed, endured, and survived.

HISTORY
Very little is known about Persephone Halycon's early life, and she has never made an effort to correct that. What records exist place her within the Galactic Alliance during its later years, trained as a Jedi at a time when the Alliance was still publicly committed to protection and relief.
That version of the Alliance did not last.
As authority consolidated and policy hardened into control, Persephone found herself increasingly at odds with the institution she served. Missions shifted from aid to enforcement. Neutrality became compliance. The Force, once taught to her as a means of service, was increasingly treated as leverage. She did not fall out with the Alliance in a single moment, but rather, wore down quietly...Staying, until staying felt like she was doing more harm than good. She would never stand idly by to watch people suffer.
Her departure was very difficult. She walked away without a word and without a clear destination. Only armed with the certainty that she could not continue under a system that had become more tyrannical than guardian.
Persephone is Force-born, but she doesn't know it. What she does know is that force-nullification affects her more deeply than it should, that sudden absences in the Force leave her shaken and disoriented, and that her own strength surfaces in flashes she never anticipates. She assumes this is a flaw, a reason she never reached the rank of master, and she has never been told otherwise. It is unclear whether the Alliance knew and witheld it from her or if they were just as much in the dark.
Eventually...She found stability and purpose in the Mandalorian Empire. Not because they strictly aligned with her ideals, but because the culture seemed honest and she felt indebted to them for their years of suffering. At first, she hid her Force sensitivity, working purely as a combat medic and healer. Over time, necessity stripped the secrecy away. When she became an Iron Wolf, her abilities became known. and were embraced by some, and "tolerated" by others. Among Mandalorians...Usefulness carries more weight than holding on to grudges.
Now a Mandalorian citizen, Persephone lives a humble life as the first and only member of Clan Halcyon. She is disillusioned with the Jedi as an institution and remains wary of systems that claim moral authority while perpetuating atrocities. This occasionally puts her at odds with the Mand'alor despite being on generally good terms.
Persephone believes in people and in doing what good she can with the life and power she has. She's just a generally...Good person. Warm, intelligent, and human. The Mandalorians have offered her purpose and a home, a place to thrive, and she is grateful.
