  • [SIZE=9pt]Adaptive: Thanks to the heat resistant carbonite coating of the ship, it is able to effortlessly go from special to atmospheric combat without having to worry about warping of the plating or friction, making it a versatile interceptor to be used both planet side and in space.[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=9pt]Needs no droid: Thanks to the advances in automatization, this ship is able to allow the automated navicomputer to calculate hyperdrive routes or maintain autopilot rather than an astromech which always tends to be a weak spot in the less automated ships.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]Only the basic defences: though the ship itself might be tough, it still lacks basic shielding, which can cause some trouble when facing well armed and armoured opponents.[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=9pt]Not exactly cheap: The high automation of the ship and the heat resistant carbonite coating are no cheap things, resulting in cost cutting in other areas such as shielding and also lowering the amount of these ships one might actually encounter in a single squadron.[/SIZE]

A design built by the EMS, based lightly off of the Gala fighter in the Corporate Protectorate’s employ, designed to improve upon that starfighter and perhaps even supercede it in due time. Though in essence little changes were made besides some structural and exterior designs, the main change would be the addition of a highly automated navicomputer which would greatly improve its overall range and usage as both a pursuing ship and part of a defending platoon. Aimed to add some veritable range and flexibility within the Corporate Protectorate’s assets and starfighters, the Peltast I class interceptor has been designed to be suited for both planetary defense and fleet operations, allowing for a wider spectrum in terms of useage and compatibility with different scenarios. After all, the EMS prides itself first and foremost on building ships which are effective in their tasks and duty.

I just want to clarify that Limited production won't cover the WHOLE of a Major Faction. You will need to bump this up to Minor if that is your intention.

12 is actually the count for an Average sized squadron. You will need to change this number to 8 to reflect the current Low rating or bump this up accordingly.

In the case of the latter, you will then need to reduce another rating by one (or two if you also bump the production to Minor). I recommend maybe dropping Maneuverability to Moderate, but it is entirely up to you.
