Description: A cumbersome and yet still quite agile vessel, the Peacekeeper Light Cruiser is Rendili's newest design to field for the Republic and its allies. Boasting a powerful engine block to keep up its speed despite the added hull armor, powered through an antimatter reactor, the Peacekeeper is a class of ship that intends to keep up the pace with the best of them as it fills its role as a supporting escort for larger warships. Armed with two forward heavy turbolasers as its main method of combating large attack craft, the ship more often resorts to utilizing its warhead launchers and defense weaponry to clear out hostile snub fighters that may swarm larger ships nearby.
However, the Peacekeeper Light Cruiser is not restricted to a purely military role. It also is intended to fill the role of the bygone Consular class light cruisers that were widely used by Republic Senators and traveling Jedi up to and even during the Clone Wars so many years ago. The craft even maintains the popular paint scheme of earlier Republic and Rendili ships, sporting the Red and White proudly as it joins the ranks of starships fighting to upheld the peace and sovereignty of the Republic and the systems it strives to protect.
