- Droid brain: Basic droid brain allows the droid to recognize and study local situations. Main design is to recognize potential crimes or criminals, and differentiate between ally and enemy. Designed to set off alerts to the owner if it believes it’s being hacked, in which case it is capable of physically cutting off its own power if necessary.

- Noticeable: May not be loud, except when moving fast, but it is a floating piece of technology and would be hard to miss
- Not a combat droid: In spite of being called a class four. The droid only has two light blasters. That is because it’s designed for security measures, not actual combat. They may make good scouts, but they would not make good forces except in considerable numbers.
The PD-1 is a common, fairly easy to get, surveillance or security drone. They are not particularly complicated and serve their purpose and not much more, with a fairly simple droid brain, a distanced communication system, holoprojector, and optional weapons or shields, the droid is a cheap and easy way to help ensure everything is moving smoothly, or to keep an eye out for pesky criminals. While it can be equipped with weapons and shields it is not meant to be a combat drone, and would mostly just serve to help deal with lower danger criminals or protect civilians. The PD cannot work well underwater, heavy rain, or extreme weather, but may do better against consistent wind then others of its class due to the vents providing additional power. The
