STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
+/- Rugged Alien Man: Unlike the majority of galaxy, Feeorins actually grow stronger with age. This has, naturally, given Pavel plenty of time to hone an imposing figure. Feeorins are also known to be able to withstand climate extremes (as evidenced by their being the only ones willing to live on Odryn), making him exceptionally hardy. Much like any Feeorin however, he's aloof and selfish. He couldn't care less about anyone but himself. He's rude, demeaning and otherwise a pain.
+/- Strictly Business: Pavel only does things for profit; he's never done anything because it was the 'right' thing. Everything has a price, and he intends to charge it. Services rendered are services charged, no exceptions. This has left him with very few friends in an otherwise hostile galaxy.
+/- Honor the Deal: When a deal is made, it will be honored - at least so far as it's profitable to be. If this puts him in a tight spot, so be it.
+ Grease Monkey: Like most people who ply their trades across the Outer Rim, Pavel has picked up an extensive knowledge of engineering which lends itself well to the maintenance of starfighters and freighters. This also means he's handy in a fighter if need be.
+ Survivor: Living in the Outer Rim, especially during the Darkness, made life far harder than it otherwise would have been. Everyone was looking out for themselves, and Pavel was no different, which often put him at odds with society. This led him to numerous fights and underworld dealings gone sour which honed his combat skills.
+ Tactician: The same things that turned him into a warrior also honed his knowledge of skirmishes. Strategy isn't something he'll ever understand, but tactics? He's got that covered.
- Criminal: Setting foot in 'civilized' space is simply something he can't do without a disguise of some sort. Numerous murders, robberies and extortion have made sure that most police forces in the galaxy will arrest him on sight for some kind of a warrant. Leaving the Outer Rim is a risky proposition in the extreme. This prohibitively limits his travel.
- Uneducated: Pavel has had zero formal schooling, and despite knowing his way around a ship... he couldn't name any of the parts he's working with. But, time and experience have shown him what goes with what to make the ship run, and frankly that's all he cares about.

BIOGRAPHY:
Lok is a planet that few would want to visit, let alone live. A den of criminals to rival the darkest corners of Tatooine, the planet has churned out many a tough-as-nails individual. Most famous for Nym and his Revenants, a small Feeorin population moved and set up shop on the planet once he'd reclaimed his base from the Trade Federation.

Over the years, this population would keep a small amount of Feeorins prowling the hyperlanes in search of whatever it was they desired. Born in the waning days of the Plague, Pavel was thrust roughly into the dark alleys and dirty bars of the Lok criminal underground. His parents, while they cared as much as a Feeorin could, mainly left him to his own devices. While a smart kid, there was little place for him to go in society but 'down'. The Plague and the Outer Rim saw to it that no matter how gifted you were, you would have to claw and kick your way up the ladder, even if that ladder was made of brittle, dead wood that could snap at a moments notice.

The laws of the underground saw to it that from a young age he learned how to fight, how to deal, and how to get revenge. Those three skills would carry him across the Outer Rim on tramp freighters and pirate crews, carving out a niche for himself as a skilled hand with not just a blaster, but a hydrospanner. His almost encyclopedic knowledge of ships earned him the nickname of Archive, although it's not one he prefers.

Once the galaxy started to send out tendrils to reestablish contact with others, he headed towards the Core, where money was more abundant and the chance for a quick credit was higher than it had ever been in the Outer Rim. Some of the worlds had survived mostly unscathed and were unprepared for pirate raids and robberies.

Pavel spent nearly fifty years gallivanting across the stars with several pirate bands, getting his name and face blacklisted from most of the civilized galaxy. From Naboo to Coruscant and out towards Mandalore, he is almost entirely unable to travel beyond the lawless stretches of the Outer Rim. To do otherwise is to know that he'll probably face a lengthy stint in jail or a firing squad.

Neither of these outcomes will bring him credits, and so he avoids the Core; and frankly, that's all it boils down to.

How much does the job pay?
