Patterns of Force

@[member="The Burned Man"] told him he was arrogant. It took all the training he had in the past to not to crack a smile at that remark. He let the stab at his his confidence go, and replied instead to his instructions. "Strength that is never touched by ruthlessness is touchingly irresponsible." Arcturus replied. "I will always remain in control of myself."

Onyx shook his head. "You best." Lifting his hands up he slowly began to remove his bandages. "Or you will become a monster a sick twisted version of who you once were," he said as the last of the bandages came off. His face was burned to a crisp. Dark and wrinkled. His eyes were the same, still the bright yellow and blue they always were. "This is what darkness will do if you do not tread carefully."

Arcturus exhaled sharply when he saw the man remove his bandages. The Sith was to put it simply, stunned. He blinked then dared asked a question. "What happened to you, how did you become so scared?" He asked @[member="The Burned Man"].

"I was consumed. My hate, fear, and all that is evil with in me... It all ate me up, turned me against those I loved." Onyx slowly started pacing around Arcturus, never removing his eyes from him. "I sought nothing more then power, to rule over armies and command the greatest force in the galaxy- a army of darkness. My search, my lust for power turned me blind. I couldn't see what I had..."

Onyx stopped, memories flooding his mind. Then, after a moment of catching his breath, he continued his pacing and, again, turned his eyes to Arcturus. "I couldn't see my family," memories of Serana and Vitor flashed before him. He stopped. Taking a breath he continued. "I couldn't see my friends," memories of Vault and Darren flashed before him. These visions were stronger. He took another breath, forcing himself to continue. "And I couldn't see love," his voice trembled at the word, tears welling in his eyes. Memories of Spencer flashed before him. These being the strongest set of the visions.

But he regained his composure. "And in my pursuit of this darkness, I lost them all.... And now I stand here, scarred from my brother turned enemy, all because I was to blinded to see."

The sith remained silent, and as the master paced around him, Arcturus kept his gaze straight forward. He remembered when he first joined the Sith Order, he told the masters on Korriban that he wanted immortality. When the Sith Masters asked Arcturus what he would do to achieve that goal, The young apprentice said he would do anything. At loss for words the Sith held his tongue, and minded his manners: Which was rare for him. After @[member="The Burned Man"] finished speaking there was a long pause, then Arcturus broke the silence. "So where do we go from here?"

Onyx stopped before him and turned to meet his gaze. "The Empire is dead, plain and simple." Onyx stated coldly. "I see it as a opportunity..." Onyx started, "...to rebuild it, the way my ancestor would have built it."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus nodded. The young Sith wanted to see the Empire's return, and in some ways hoped the remaining sectors unclaimed by the Mandalorians and the Republic could make a comeback if they banded together. "It is the empire's place to rule the galaxy." Arcturus was interest to say the least. "Tell me... Who was your ancestor?" He asked @[member="Darth Onyx"].

Onyx smirked. "The one who mastered both light and dark, the one who defeated Mandalores and armies of the dark side with ease..." Onyx explained with great pride, "The man with no name, a Revanchist... Darth Revan."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus for a moment was stunned in disbelief, but through the force he realized it was true, or at least @[member="Darth Onyx"] was not hiding anything from. "Destiny it seems." He said after a few moment. "May have brought us together. For I've been told that I am the descendants of the Krath and Mecrosa, Ulic-Qel Droma himself."

Onyx nodded. "Perhaps... You're bloodline will be proven through your training and dedication..." Onyx put his bandages back on carefully and moved past the man slightly. "We have much to plan in the coming days. With the Empire gone we will be hunted by the Jedi."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

"And it will be proven." Arcturus replied to the comment. "We may be able to go to my Homeworld, I was once part of the Republic military. After years of studying the occult I traveled to Korriban where I learned I was force sensitive. However no one in the Republic knows I am actually Sith, and anyone who does thinks so believes I died on Ossus. My family has money, position, and power. We can use these resources." He said to @[member="Darth Onyx"]

Onyx nodded. "Very well. Until we find a hidden location, one that is secure completely, I suppose it will do."

Turning he faced him. "Go there and wait for me, I will bring some of my allies. We will need all the help we can get."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus bowed. "Empress Teta is my home world, I will list you as a bodyguard or mercenary employed by my noble house. Contact me when you have the proxy or pseudonym you wish to go by. If you need to hide, a nearby world in the system called Ronika is a good place to do so. The environment can be unforgiving, so be warned." He nodded his head and looked at Darth Onyx. "Anything else my lord?"
