Patterns of Force

There was nothing. The feeling of dread filled him, when the Republic came the Sith would have no where left to go. The prophet had been right, the visions of the future were true. The empire he had known was gone, his return from death was only met with the dissatisfaction that his life was in ruins. Again he was to be sent into exile, running from the Jedi and Mandalorians who would hunt him down and kill him without hesitation. But he would not be killed so easily, not this time. Arcturus once again ran, this time he had taken flight into the Corporate Sector Authority, and made his way to Etti IV. Officially the planet belonged still to the crumbling Sith Empire. Yet the area had always been a region of government neglect and corporate corruption. Espos, black armored military police officers, essentially served ad the means of keeping order among the people who suffered at the hands of these galactic elite. Despite being a Sith, Arcturus did everything he could not to cross an Espos, the last thing he wanted was end up in the legendary prison Star's End.

Arcturus's speeder rushed down an empty street. For several minutes he passed through an old industrial area on the outskirts of Mondder. Here most of the factories had been abandoned, and the corporations did not waste money on sending law enforcement to watch property that held no value. The people who lived here were thieves and vagabonds, and Arcturus knew he could handle them. Pulling into an opening of a fenced off lot, the speeder came to a halt. In a black cloak, the Sith hopped down off the speeder and looked at the side of the building. The address was written vertically in big black letters: 6743. This was the place. Pushing open a rusty door the Sith passed through the threshold and into the empty warehouse. Nothing but blackness filled the room, so the Sith reached into his robe and pulled out a glow-stick. Through a few contacts, he was supposed to be meeting another former Sith, a master, at this location. The only name he had been given was @[member="The Burned Man"].

(Sorry, had my hard drive wiped and just got it back online. But I'm back :) )

Onyx watched him enter the large, empty, building. He knew the apprentice couldn't see him, hidden in the support beams above. "Welcome..." His voice echoed. "I see you received my invitation..." He watched him as he moved, studied him for a moment. He had a talent for reading people, this man was no different. Standing up he smirked. "Are you ready to start?"

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

As the voice echoed, the young Sith spun to see who it was. Spinning round he glanced up in the darkness to see @[member="The Burned Man"] standing in the rafters. "I..." At first he was confused, but realized this individual had no time for stupidity. Reaching out with the force, he realized it was a master force user, likely one of the many who fled the destruction of the Republic. "I'm ready to start" Arcturus said with confidence. Arcturus had several questions, but for the moment held his tongue out of respect.

(Its Cool)

Onyx could feel the young apprentice in his mind. But he was in his mind too, feeling him and searching him. "You are mistaken," Onyx replied. "I am not Sith. However I am not Jedi either. I, instead, have found clarity within the force- a Rogue."

Onyx jumped down. Standing up he faced the man, who was a few feet away. "What training do you have?"

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus now only had more questions as @[member="The Burned Man"] spoke. The Sith watched the burned man jump down. "I know Form III and Form V, most of my training is in telekinetic abilities, stealth, force sense and sight, and other basic abilities that allow me to enhance my physical limitations." He said promptly. Then he cut in quickly with a question. "If your not a Sith then why train one?"

Onyx smirked under his bandages. "We are all one within the force. I train any who seek the knowledge of it, regardless of their alignment." Onyx stepped forward. "But be warned. I will not hesitate to harm you during training. So you must be ready to push your limits."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus smiled. "Fair enough." he said. The Sith was ready and willing for anything, after all what was left to do after death? "I can take anything you throw at me." He stated with confidence to @[member="The Burned Man"]. "I'm ready whenever you are."

Onyx chuckled. "No you aren't." Not a second after stating this, his bright red lightsaber activated and he launched himself towards the man. He swung it down, intending to strike his head and shoulder. He also readied himself for a block, to which he would reply with a strong kick to the man's chest.

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

"Think so?" Arcturus said with confidence to @[member="The Burned Man"]. A single red blade came to life from Arcturus's hand as he met Onyx's own attack with a solid block of his own. Keeping his own lightsaber vertical he parried the master's blade away only to respond with a low horizontal slash at Onyx's waist line.

Onyx's second lightsaber, his bright blue one, activated in his free hand and he easily deflected the attack. Stepping back he jumped forward again. One saber aimed for the waist while the other was raised, ready to block any attack the man launched his way.

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

The second Lightsaber took the Sith by surprise, however he had one of surprise of his own. With a flick of finger, a second red blade shot from the other side of his hilt revealing his lighsaber to be a double-blade one. Spinning round counter clockwise the right blade of his saber staff slapped the @[member="The Burned Man"]'s second lightsaber wide. Then the Sith rotated around clockwise bring the left blade of his saber star in for a high strike at his opponent's head.

Onyx was surprised to say the least. He met few individuals who could wield a single blade all while using a double blade. Though it didn't phase him. Easily he jumped back. Chuckling, he spoke. "You are a good fighter." Onyx deactivated his lightsabers. "Now let us see you use the force."

Onyx launched both hands forward, unleashing force lightning upon his opponent.

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

As @[member="The Burned Man"] Jumped back, Arcturus in kind deactivated one of the blades, keeping the other on just in case. Sure enough Onyx launched an assualt of lightning at the Sith. Clasping his lightsaber in front of him with both hands, he blocked the attack lightning firmly with his lightsaber blade. Gritting his teeth, Arcturus took a step back and he focused his energy in keeping himself upright against the lightning.

Onyx laughed a sinister, crazy laugh. "Come on!" He yelled. "I can feel you, attempting to hold it." Onyx stopped for a moment. "You must take it and make it your own- use it against me."

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

With all his might he took a step forward, pushing against the lightning. The tip of his blade slowly pointed towards the @[member="The Burned Man"], a dangerous technique was needed, but the master had forewarned him of the risks. Arcturus reach down into himself, he focused his hatred and fear. Taking another the step forward, the Sith narrowed his eyes, and through the force established the superconductor loop. Now Arcturus sent Onyx's own lighting back at him, bolt bouncing off his saber and reigning down on his opponent.

The lightning did just that, flowed back and away from the Sith and back towards the @[member="The Burned Man"]. Each moment he took another step forward which drove him closer towards his master. Finally he was only a few a blade stroke from Onyx, the force of the lightning against his saber almost unnoticeable. "All to easy!" He shouted.

Onyx laughed. He deactivated his lightsaber and, with one swift motion, be brought both hands bank. Lunching them forward he sent all the remaining lightning, along with a strong force push, which would send him back. "Never say that." Onyx said blankly.

@[member="Arcturus Procyon"]

Arcturus was completely caught off guard by @[member="The Burned Man"]'s force push. The sith was thrown back and toppled to the ground his lightsaber deactivating. Quickly he regained his footing and with a tug with the force returned his lightsaber to his right hand. "Lesson Learned." he said bluntly.

Onyx nodded. "You are good..." He stopped himself, letting the words come to him before speaking. "However you are arrogant. I can feel you, your mind." Onyx shifted gears. "I told you I was not Sith nor Jedi. Now hear my words and let them sink into your mind; Use the force and let it flow through you. Use your enemies tactics as your own and their weaknesses as well. However do not loose yourself, you must control it or you will fail."
