Patient Cues for the Gallows (pm to join)

The spread claws of the eagle

A defender submachine gun with its breach opened and magazine well empty lay on a table, besides it clips of .45 caliber bullets and various sights and silencers were laid out in an organized fashion. The assortment as neat and organized as it was would sadly not stay that way, the weapons of killers would be needed once again. A black clad hand reached down and picked up the empty weapon and screwed the silencer to the barrel. Grabbing a sight a red dot was placed onto the top guard rail and locked into place. With the breach still opened that changed quickly as magazine was fed into the well with a metallic seating noise. With the bolt flying forward a round was chambered and the weapon was live.

"Vong dominion Dal, this is the ruling family of Un'Khaarga." The voice of a mantis clone said.

An image of thirty faces came up on a screen, all Yuuzhan Vong, and each one related to one another by blood or acceptance into their dominion. All of which were marked for death, all of which would receive it this night.

"Currently they are celebrating the untimely demise of the Luminoss Dominion, and are scattered throughout the city. We've managed to pin down the exact locations of each member and they are spread out between six locations." the mantis clone spoke again as the slide changed to a map with highlighted areas.

"Green areas are private estates, red are public areas, and purple are religious shrines. Four are are private estates, one religious, one public." The clone said pointing to each.

"Commando teams are a go for green objectives, snipers and assassins are to handle red and purple with extreme caution. Civilian casualties are allowed however make sure they are Vong, snipers are not to be discovered. Our presence can not be known." With the briefing wrapping up it was almost time for the operation to begin.

"There can be no witnesses, any slaves you find you are to offer their freedom and extract with us. If they are too far gone, do what you need to. Operation is a go." and that was it.

Location 1: Family estate of Dal dominion.
Targets: 8 members of Dal dominion.
Objective: eliminate

Commander Lusk was leading this operation, his job was to take Yuuzhan Vong families and kill them in their own homes until every dominion was gone. Until one organized family under Spaarti Creations ruled Yuuzhan'tar. It was a lot of blood, and a lot of bullets, but it was going to be done. With a stealth transport landing over the first family estate the clone clone commander didn't have any words to say today. This wasn't going to be battle, this was murder. It was murder of a race that had it coming but it went against the Mandalorian training he had received.

Jumping onto the roof of the building in the dead of night a good twenty Spaarti commandos landed around the estate to surround it. Other teams would be in other locations doing the same to remove the dominion from this city. But here and now was what was on Lusk's mind, what was about to happen.

Once his feet were atop the coral building the man worked his way down from the roof access. This wasn't like the last job where the Vong were in the middle of sacrificing innocent slaves, no that would of been easier. This job would be killing them in their beds while they slept.

Commando teams roamed the halls of the estate with their weapons barred and eyes aimed down the sights, they were here to kill and do their jobs. As Lusk moved down the halls a Yuuzhan Vong worker caste who was more than likely the butler rounded the corner. There was no hesitation, no second thought, only a single bullet from Lusk that painted the coral wall behind the servant black.

With the corpse hitting the ground Lusk and his teams moved into position where every family member slept. It was late and the celebration for these folks had ended early. Upon reaching the door to the master bedroom the clone opened the door slowly and moved inside having his fire team wait outside.

Once inside he stood at the foot of the bed to see two adult Vong in bed together with a child nestled between them. Lusk's heart raced and he tried to fight back, he tried to walk away from this but he couldn't. He had to do this, this was an order. The clone had no choice. Lusk was internally screaming as he flicked his rifle to automatic.

That click had done it, the young child woke up from her sleep and rubbed her eyes to see an armored Spaarti commando standing at the foot of the bed. And that was it.

There was a flash of automatic muzzle fire from outside the window and throughout the house in various rooms. There was nothing but silence for a few moments after that, nothing but dead silence.

"All targets down. Proceed to next objective." Lusk said as the team exfiltrated back to their transport to eliminate the dominion.

With Lusk and his men back inside the transport it lifted up from the Domain's home and the ghostly silence that was left from their departure. Inside the ship as it flew over the Yuuzhan Vong like a specter in the night, Lusk and his crew remained silent. The commandos all knew what they had just done, they knew that by definition they would be considered Dar'manda for the slaying of children. It was an insult to the original Preliat and this was something they were going to take to their graves.

"Two miles until target destination." One of the pilots in the cockpit said to Lusk.

The clone commander said nothing in response, there really wasn't anything to say. All he did was reach down to his weapon and press the magazine release. The clip fell to the ground and hit the ground with a clang, afterwards Lusk grabbed a fresh mag and placed it into the well. Slamming the bolt forward he chambered a fresh round and stood up.

Behind him the other twenty commandos did so forming up from behind. Their job was to knock over the next estate, word was bravo squad was hitting the third estate at the moment and would be wrapping up that objective. As for right now the ship settled above the third estate of the Dal Domain, a family that by the looks of it were still awake. There was a winding down celebration and a few guests remained, six targets total along with what looked to be four pieces of collateral damage.

"Snipers operate a top the gunship, teams jump down and breach the front door." Lusk said swiftly.

Time to go kill some more people.

The clone jumped from the ship along with two other fire teams behind him. Upon hitting the ground stealthily the team of ten moved through the dead of night towards the winding down party, moving swiftly they stacked on the front door and could hear the musing and soft music of a harp beast being played inside. The party was about done and everyone was relaxed and off guard, the perfect time to launch a raid.

"On me." Lusk said as his hand grabbed the doorknob.

With Lusk opening the front door quietly he was the first inside. Stepping into the entry way of a hallway that lead into a grand opening of coral stairs and balconies the clone moved swiftly with his eyes focused down the sight of his rifle. The music started to grow as they reached the opening, strings were plucked and harmonies echoed through the large estate.

A large burly wookie stepped out of the opening from the right where the party was being held, the wookie let out a yawn and had his back turned to the team as it appeared to be going through a few items atop a table. Maybe he was looking for keys to its vehicle parked outside, it didn't matter. With his rifle pointed up Lusk unloaded up to ten rounds into the wookie's back. Without a chance to scream the .45 caliber bullets killed the furry alien causing it's massive body to to slump over the table with its dead arms hanging over the sides.

Lifting up his right hand Lusk and his crew reached the opening, giving the hand signal to move down the hallway the clones turned foot and proceeded to move down the hallway. With the music growing louder the clones reached the source. A grand hall with all six members of the domain gathered around the harp beast and the Vong playing it. Scattered through the room a few other party guests that had the misfortune of being there stood around the area, some with drinks, others eating a few last morels.

Stepping out of the shadows and into the light Lusk the music stopped and the eight or so people in the room looked at the lone clone trooper with confusion and a near disbelief of what they were seeing. There were a few curses shouted at Lusk in languages he didn't understand and a large Vong stood up and began to stomp towards him.

That was when the other clones came out behind Lusk and an execution line was formed. The Vong stopped its tracks and every single eye in the place went wide. With their rifles raised up the commandos opened fire on the domain and their guests. Scores of bullets impacted every target, the harp beast, there was no prejudice, everyone died.

Silence engulfed the now dead party and Lusk walked back to the opening with his crew for pick up. Once outside the clones jump packed up to the ship and took their seats.

"Bravo sit rep?" Lusk said on his comms

"All targets KIA. Pulling out now." another mantis clone said back.

Darting off to the last and final estate of the Dal dominion Lusk felt a coldness wash over his senses, a feeling of uneasiness that wasn't attached to the danger of the situation, but rather the spiritual consequences that had come with their actions. Each clone remained silent and they simply wanted to be somewhere else at the moment. Even the hardest war zone against the Sith was better than this, it was better than gunning down civilians and children in their homes. But this was the harsh hidden truths of the corporate world, if there was something that you wanted, you took it.

"Final estate coming up, two mikes." The pilot said to the clones as they reloaded their weapons once again.

The clone commandos sat back for a minute or so as the transport glided through the quiet airs of the Yuuzhan Vong port city. They were almost done with this madness and they would be able to go home and forget about all of this. Or that's what they hoped, for Lusk there would be no removing that image. The look that child gave before he snuffed the life out of that family, it was something he'd have to live with for the rest of his life.

Lusk had killed before, plenty of times in battle. He had faced droids, stormtroopers, mandalorians, Yuuzhan Vong Warriors, but never had he killed people in this manner. All he could do right now though was focus on the mission and make sure it got done, make sure that Spaarti was able to extend their control of Yuuzhan'tar until it all became theirs. Until the Vong were nothing more than lap dogs to the power that was Spaarti.

"We're above the estate, looks like these people are having a backyard cookout." an Isard pilot said to Lusk images pushed to his HUD.

The six members of the domain along with a dozen or so guests were on their estates back yard. There seemed to be a stage and Vong was giving some sort of rallying speech to the crowd. Whatever it was they needed to handle this job different.

"Fire teams of five, box them in on each side and create a kill zone." Lusk said to his men as he shared map information.

The ship proceeded to drop the fire teams off one by one into the jungles that outlay the backyard. It was really a nice set up, a clearing with a fifty meters of jungle behind it to give a rich oxygen environment. Coincidentally it was also a great way to cover tracks until you got up to the wire of the clearing that doubled as the backyard of the estate.

Being the last team to jump off into the dark jungle, Lusk activated his night vision and with a small hum of activation the low light vision flickered on and the clone was receiving imagery of the rally from up above. Snipers had marked each member of the domain. The rest were just witnesses, witnesses that had to be removed from the equation. A dozen souls that just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time.

Silently pushing through the shrub and trees the clones approached the perimeter of the rally. The Vong on stage could be heard giving his speech in his native tongue and it sounded very ambitious as they grew closer to them. As the crossed the last five meters of the jungle each team was in position creating nice crossfire kill zone along with a team behind the stage that would pick off any runners that headed towards the buildings.

"Fire team one set." Lusk said on his mic.

"Fire team two set." a commando stated.

"Fire team three set." A mantis clone said as all teams were ready.

There was a pause between the clones and the Vong was going on with their speech. Lusk took a deep breath and nodded to himself. They came this far, it was time to finish the job.

"Fire." The clone stated.

From the edge of the forest muzzle flashes from silenced weapons ripped into the night. The Vong on stage turned around to see the commotion and quickly received a slug that impacted his eye and blew the back of his skull out. His body hit the stage and black blood pooled around him as bullets continued to fly. Screams rang in the air as domain members and guests ran trying to take cover from the assault of bullets. But there was no hope, there was no running or hiding, only death. After a few minutes passed every guest and member lay on the ground dead and gone.

"Extract now." Lusk said as he and his brothers and sisters moved back to their transport.

This attack wasn't going to go unnoticed and the screams had probably garnered attention. So they had to get going now to hit the last objective. Word was that snipers had hit the targets at the eatery and that only left the shrine.

With the clones back on the ship they were done, they couldn't go out and kill anymore civilians. There was a silent tension between them that could be cut with the edge of their hands. Nobody said anything but they all thought the same thing, they all thought about the people they had just wasted. Lusk felt it most of all, after all he lead these men into it and not a single one of them had the luxury of being killed so this pain they felt could come to an end.

"Pilot, hit the shrine with concussive missiles then we ghost. I can't put my men down there, we're out of ammo." Lusk said lying to the pilots.

"Yeah- yes sir." the pilot said knowing that they had plenty of ammo left.

The clones were a family, a family that knew when the other was hurting, and even a lowly Spaarti Naval Crew pilot could see that Lusk and his men were in pain. A pain that was soul deep and would take time to heal, maybe over time it would. But for now it would stay where it was and sink into their hearts like a cold dagger.

"Eyes on shrine." The Isard pilot stated.

"Firing missiles now." Her mantis co pilot stated.

The ship launched a good six concussion missiles at the shrine and with large explosions going off the final targets were eliminated and their job was done. Now all that was needed was to have the Du'Prat Domain move their influence on the city and take it over. Without anyone to guide them their domain would rule the city and add the ship building port to Spaarti's list of products that they could produce.

The ship afterwards pushed up into the upper atmosphere and into the clouds that covered their escape. All targets were down along with the added collateral damage. Spaarti didn't care though, as long as it got what it wanted, they didn't care who got stepped on or whose throat was cut.
