Past Character Development

I want someone who's been alive a while, to meet up in the past in order to learn and train to be the hermit I am today.

I need some adventures, some new stories to tell the people who visit me before I die and my legend runs off with the murky swamp water of Dagobah.

I want to be a hermit with a legend, one day. Please help me make it happen.
