Party Monsters (Red Ravens Party on Nar Shaddaa--No Fighting)

rvQ6UhF.jpg
Location: The Golden Nautolan, Nar Shaddaa
The Golden Nautolan was one of Nar Shaddaa’s newest premier casinos. Floating above the neon glittered Promenade, it also happened to be the location of the Red Ravens Criminal Syndicate’s latest celebration. The Ravens had placed a big bloody stake in the ground on the Smuggler’s Moon and seized control of the planet and many of its largest criminal gangs. The underdogs, oh they were vehemently fighting back of course, but despite their resistence, from the Undercity to the Refugee Sector, the Red Ravens’ influence kept growing like pestilent weeds. Desperation abounded as they knew their numbers were up.

The Red Ravens themselves could rest on their laurels, bask in their victory, and party. The scene at the Golden Nautolan was a hedonists dream. The many-leveled, lavish casino was a playground of dancers, musicians, gamblers, and all the biggest celebrities of Nar Shaddaa. The middle of the Nautolan had been cleared out to make way for a vast dance floor, where partygoers swayed in a trance. Bottles were popped, designer spice was ingested, and rivalries were set aside for the night. It was whispered that Cryax Bane himself would be there, as well as other top Raven brass, like newly-minted Vice President, Chiasa Krivitass, in all her tiger striped Twi'lek glory.

Guests would be disarmed of their weapons and watched by a thousand DD-S1 Security droids, of course, but even the most hated enemies of the Red Ravens had been invited tonight. Tonight was about showing the galaxy that the Red Ravens had arrived, and reminding their enemies that nothing was going to bring them down.

OOC Info: Open to everyone. No weapons allowed.

Solan messed with his collar, annoyed at his insistence to himself that this was a good idea and rolled his neck as he looked up at the ceiling. He was in a dark black undershirt with a button down thrown over it but left un buttoned. His pants tan trousers that were of a nicer quality than most ever saw him wear and lastly a leather jacket he wore when not in his robes remained on him as normal. He didn't bring his scythe but a small holdout blaster and saber had been on his person, both having been given to the guards before he entered but he didn't really trust people so he made sure he watched where they were set just in case. From there he entered the main area and breathed in as his smile grew. Tonight was going to be an interesting night.

The eleven year old with blonde hair, and the crazy red eyes pounced in excitement as her bodyguard, Olivia Jeevin, walked by her in a more formal attire compared to what she was used to. Her father had instructed the woman to never let the little girl out of her sight. She had watched the little one grow from a small bean sprout, to a little taller bean sprout. Short like her mother, and energetic like her father, it was a crazy combination. "I'm so excited for this party Olivia!" Erika chirped. She wore her own little red dress, with her hair pulled back into a bun. Makeup on her face, and smile marking her feelings, Erika skipped around, smiling like the little giggly school girl she was.
When she finally was inside, the guards stopped her, and her bodyguard. "I have no weapons on me." Olivia stated, and Erika smiled brightly at the guards, and tilted her head. "Where would I hide weapons?" She mewed. They nodded, and let the two ladies in. "Come now little Sin, you know you are not supposed to be here, you're mother will kill me for even allowing you to be here." Olivia spoke softly in her grey dress, her hair left in a pony tail. "Oh relax! This is a party, and I want to be here to meet new people!" She, again, began to skip around inside till her eyes spotted the Shadow Prince, Solan. She waved at him crazy like.

Solan's eyes turned around the room to spot a girl tht was little more than a child and he almost sighed before remembering who the mother of the child was and that being the reasons she would ever be in the same place. With a slow walk over to the girl and her bodyguard he gave a bow and looked at the two of them befroe speaking. "Lady Sin... why in the world are you here. You do realize this isn't really the kind of place for you and if your mother sees you you will get into trouble." He did like one fact though as he suspected he knew where she got it from. While she looked more like her mother, he could tell in expression alone that left unattended this girl would be as mischievous as the Gizka... not as annoying though from what he suspected, just mischievous.

Erud'ryz'ladre arrived to the Golden Nautolan wearing a suit that hid the body armour underneath while at the same looking, well, nice. The music was loud, and the people were louder, but the Chiss was not fazed. After all, many of her former clients had (to the dismay of their parents) been frequent visitors of the night life. Readjusting her tight, braided bun, she walked alongside the long lines of partiers waiting to get in, ignoring their shouts of discontent at her "cutting in line."

Finally making her way to the front, she flashed the badge identifying her as the bodyguard of Mr. Bane. "All I have on me are these two," she told the guards, lifting the hem of her shirt high enough that they could see the two pistols she always kept on her while working. "Please notify Mr. Bane that I have arrived, and will be at the VIP section, awaiting him."

"Yes ma'am," the guard said. Stepping to the side to let her through, he added, "Enjoy the party. Next!"

Enjoy the party? She snorted. Parties are never fun.

Stepping through the crushing mass of bodies, the Chiss kept an eye out for trouble. But other than a girl who looked much too young to be here, nothing presented itself. Yet, anyway.

Erika smiled more, and bowed to the man. She jumped over to him, and gave him a hug around his waist. They were, in fact, the exact same species, Vahla, mixed with human. It was an interesting site indeed. "I tried to tell her this, Lord Charr." Olivia spoke. Erika wavered off Olivia, and looked up at Solan. "Go enjoy yourself Jeevis, I have the Shadow Prince to watch over me now!" She squeaked. When she released her hug, she stood on her tip toes, her big red eyes staring Solan down. "I just wanted to have some fun! I wont be a trouble, I promise!" She tried to give him big puppy dog eyes, with a little whimper in her tone.

"Uh i don't thinks sending your bodyguard away is a good idea..." He sighed as he didn't say he wouldn't he just didn't know what would happen if Patricia saw him alone with the kid. He already had enough awkward experiences with the Republic officer and getting his head hacked off for letting the kid roam around this part was not high on his to do list this week... that comes in two weeks. Either way though if the woman did leave or not he would watch over Romeo's daughter. "Lady Olivia if im not wrong..." His hand had pulled out a datapad, scrolling out information and letting his eyes stare up at her with a smile. "I think i can handle watching over your charge if you want to go have some fun. One with such pretty eyes should not waste them standing around and watching over a person that i can just as well watch."

Ivy, the bottomless pit of snarky comments, and sarcasm. The very taint on the jedi code, and the ever hardcore extremist.. it was no secret she was here, even the SJO knew of her appearance merely since they watched her leave the confines of their pitiful boarding houses, or lack there of.. more like a shed with a cot due to the actual size of the room.

Today she chose not to bring her shotoh and guns, this day she chose to wear what she was.

her blond hair was worn tidy and allowed to flow over her face to look more interesting, yet the blonde haired jedi wasn't defenseless.

Striding confidently to the cantina she beamed a charming smile at the guards and ended up holding her hands up as they decided to run scan paddles over her, her glare and disapproval was apparent, yet she knew this was not the time to be combative even tho she could easily break these bruisers necks.

(OOC somehow this comp is being a pos, and idk how to get this underlined crap to go away. :/)

Promenade;Nar Shaddaa -- Overlooking the Golden Nautolan

The last remnants of the drags fell on the ground, little embers scattered and smoke still trailed from the point. Across and diagonally underneath the roof the golden rays of the Nautolan shone into the night, its opulence was a reminder to all the thieves, whores and other Kin that the Ravens were in town… and that they were not planning on leaving anytime soon.

The party is on the way, sir.’

I see.’

Are you planning on attending?

He invited me?

Addressed to Mr. Bartender, courtesy of Mr. Slicer.’

Cute.’

Khaleel Malvern was not yet sure if his presence would be beneficial or adverse towards the shaky alliance being built in the shadows, in one way his absence could be explained as a sour aftertaste - the sign of a weak man, one who had won more than most would have expected, and still would not adhere towards common courtesy. Yet, every story, every tale would have a different side to it and these days the bartender needed to balance proprietary with appearance.

A boot came crashing down on the smoldering drags, crunching them under the heel and flicking the lingering embers out of existence, perhaps a fitting analogy, perhaps redundant imagery for the sake of it. Either way, the bartender turned around, his back towards the golden rays and a shrug manifested from his frame.

Yeah, I will poke my head in.’

Erika giggled, "She will be fine, go off Olivia, I want to be with Mr. Solan tonight!" She spun around to his side, and wrapped her arms around his, and leaned into him. "Remember, he was a friend of daddy's!" She beamed brightly. The bodyguard sighed, and nodded. "If you wish Lord Charr. I will try to find something to do." She then slumped her shoulders, and walked away. Erika turned her attention to Solan. "So, Mr. Solan, you lead, I follow!" She tugged on his arm a little, and then leaned into him again. "Where is Sarah?" She asked.

He sighed and spoke to Olivia before she left. "Oh, and my names Solan. Im no lord my dear." He smiled at her before then looking at Erika with the smile remaining as he spoke. "You know, she was just looking out for you Erika, you didn't have to tell her to join get out of here..." He sighed and then felther grab and tug on his arm with the question which for a moment he blinked and thought on it for a moment. "I offered her to come, she might be here later or not, ill be sure to tell you the first moment i know she is here."

Nicole would be at the enterence, trying to find her weapon. The guard at the front looked rather annoyed at her, clearly shes been to to give him any type of weapon she had on her, but whenever it was required, she seemed to have failed to build it. Its a bad habit she has to break. "Look, sir, I know I have it here somewhere.. . " the girl continues to franticly search her person for it. After another moment or two, she finally sighs, realizing she did not bring it. "Well, uhm.. it appears that I didn't bring it...." She sighs in utter defeat, and would look at the guard.

"Can I go in now?" Why did Solan want to bring her here....

The taxi pulled up near the front of the towering casino. Opening the door, Isaac stepped out amongst the crowd and inhaled deeply. They say that smells can trigger some of your most vivid memories. Indeed, it had only been a year since Isaac was last seen on this planet. Now, the Ravens had claimed it for good. It seemed a bit... cleaner. Or perhaps it just seemed that way-- a year ago the Ravens were a group of mischief-makers who relied on gutter runners like himself to try to get ahead. Now, they would be partying in a posh district of the Capital sector of this immense ecumenopolis, and Isaac was dressed at least a little better than last time.

He exhaled and walked into the casino. It was bustling with all kinds of patrons, from VIPs to veritable pond scum. The bodyguards were working double-time due to the enhanced security measures enacted due to the party. The lines were long, since absolutely no weapons were allowed inside tonight. Of course, Red Ravens could still cary, and Red Ravens did not wait in line. Isaac held up two fingers as he strolled through the entry, giving a knowing nod to the head of entrance security. Near the front, he saw a guard harassing an beautiful blonde haired girl ([member="Mallory Pryde"]) as they ran their scanning paddles up and down her body. Isaac approached from behind and, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her in close to his side, waved off the guards: "She's fine, don't worry."

Isaac led her through the main doors and into the atrium. The the thumping music signaled that the party was well under way. Isaac turned to the girl-cum-stranger at his side. "If I find out you've got weapons on you, you might just end up in time-out..."

Neon lights from the Golden Nautolan's many lugjack machines and jubilee wheels glittering in his red alien orbs, Cryax Bane the President and figurehead of the Red Ravens Criminal Syndicate stepped out from a heavily secured area in the back of the casino. His personal DD-S1 Security droids trailed his every step, joined by [member="Erud'ryz'ladre"], his beleaguered Chiss bodyguard. Drzyl, if he used her core name, had surprised Bane recently by deciding to stay in his employ. Erratic, prone to fits of rage, and either brilliant or foolish depending on who you asked, the Chiss crime boss was a difficult man to keep track of, to say the least. At least she had interesting stories to tell her family back home on Csilla.

Cryax made his way to a VIP area where a booth had been swept for bugs and bombs and was now waiting for him. Whoever decided to join him would find him in a reasonable mood tonight. After all, the Red Ravens had used their criminal acumen to make the place their own. His only regret was that Lysle of the Hydian Way was not alive to see the Red Ravens' many enterprises flourish on the Smuggler's Moon. It was possible that Lysle's murderer would even be in attendance tonight, a thought that caused the Chiss' jaw to perceptibly tighten. However, the Ravens had promised to open the Nautolan's doors to the entire galaxy tonight, and Cryax Bane kept his promises.

A cognac was immediately placed on his table once he took a seat in the booth. The Chiss looked more relaxed than usual as he leaned back with legs crossed and let his eyes laze around the room. Maybe it was the spice in his system or perhaps it was the fact that his siblings had returned from the place that most galaticians were calling "The Netherworld." Whatever it was, he was open and approachable to anyone who would join him, be they a potential business partner or a bitter enemy.

Except for maybe those kids running around. They would be swiftly taken away by a babysitter droid.

Tmoxin had booked a private suite in the hotel part of the Golden Nautolan so she could take her time getting ready for the Red Raven party. And while the Nautolan was one of the more high-end casinos on the Promenade, it still had its share of illegal and fixed gaming which the Hapan Officer had invested in and was profiting from ever since The Ravens took control of Nar Shaddaa. And unlike her recent trips to Makeb with its mines and Far Pando with farmland and slugs, business and pleasure mixed well on the crime-ridden planet in the more elite fashion she was used to.

She wore a long, elegant black sequined dress and matching heels:

Tmoxin took the elevator down to the reserved Ravens area of the Golden Nautolan and saw [member="Cryax Bane"] sitting in a booth, surrounded by his usual entourage of bodyguards and droids. He looked rather relaxed and she hated to spoil the moment but the last time she had seen her boss, he had left her behind during an enemy infiltration of Camp Raven, their high security prison on Syvris. They hadn't spoken since. Not even an apology or a "How is Tmoxin? Is she doing okay? Did she survive an attack where Cryax and Patricia jetted out on a private shuttle from the roof while she was left alone with at least five attackers?"

Tmoxin had to negotiate within an inch of her life that day and although she wasn't proud of defeat, she was alive.

Confronting Bane wasn't a good idea under any circumstances, but confronting him after a shot of whiskey would seem like a much better idea than stone cold sober, she thought ordering a glass from a nearby serving droid.

Once upon a time parties had been fun. Now they were largely work. Still, the Twi'lek did enjoy being seen. Besides, it was probably good for morale for the Ravens to see the majority of their leadership out and about rubbing shoulders as it were. Particularly when part of that leadership had not been leadership for very long. Add to that the fact that under the one nights truce a person never knew who might show up and, well, no matter how much she might prefer it, she couldn't quite justify spending the evening lazing in a bubblebath in a penthouse suite.

So, perfectly groomed and manicured and dressed to display her natural assets as ever, the Twi'lek made her way into the fray, inclining a head gracefully at those she knew as she made her way to the bar. Where someone she didn't recognize was bartending. Bah. She liked her people at the Dragon Palace Casino. While some staff had been brought over to ensure dependability and quality, the core had stayed behind. This way they were providing jobs to the local populace, endearing themselves to their new peons etc etc etc. People tended to not be in favour of killing the new boss when the new boss paid well and provided decent benefits. Of such details success was born.

She wondered fleetingly if [member="Tyro'din"] would make an appearance tonight as she'd suggested. Even if he did they'd likely not interact much, he was meant to be rank and file and to meet the rank and file. There was no reason one such as he was to appear to be would spend a significant amount of time in her presence. Of course, this was the Ravens, hierarchy was relatively loose, and personally she did as she damned well pleased at any particular point in time. Not that she'd hesitate to smack down anyone who tried to do the same if it threatened either herself or the Ravens.

Accepting something sweet and colourful and likely hugely alcoholic, the Twi'lek took a sip as she went back to surveying the room.

Patricia came through the haze of the party wearing her classic little red dress, it was her lucky one. The one she met Jarven in on that crappy world Dilbana. As she walked through the mix of smoke and other various vapors she found her way to the private table where Cryax was having himself a little drink. Rumor in the ravens was that he and his lover had a little falling out and that it was not going well. And while Patricia always teased the man and insulted him on a regular basis she did care about him and didn't want to see him go down the drain again. So she took it upon herself to comfort him in his time of need, besides her daughter [member="Erika Sin"] was safe at home with her baby sitter Olivia so she had all night to help him. Patricia slid her way into the booth with a Cosmo in her hand and scootched in close with the blue man.

"Hey Freaks and Geeks, you ok?" She said in a very gentle caring tone of a mother or close friend inquiring what was going on.

Patricia took a long sip of her Cosmo and smiled at him gently. Cryax was her friend and even though there were moments when she wanted to slap him into next week, he was a good guy deep down. So she just kept her drink in one hand and with her other she put it on his shoulder and rubbed it gently.

"I heard about what happened." She said with that care and love in words once more

"Infact...There she is now..." He heard the voice clear as day and led Erika over to her adopted Sister, smiling at Nicole as his head turned to the side with a smug grin. "Lost your saber again crowling?" He had started calling her that, mostly to actually honor the memory of romeo sin in some way as he had learned of the man's death. That and the girl's black hair made it way to easy not to use the nickname on her, seeing as Raven was taken by a certain Chief of State in the Republic.

Tuesday Blues or rather, [member="Azrael"] strode into the Golden Nautolan like he owned the place. Why not? He was the nether be damned Mand'alor, leader of the notoriously hard to lead Mandalorians, and ever so good friend of [member="Cryax Bane"]. He snickered slightly at that, if this wasn't worthy of someone snapping a few pics who knew what was.

He made his way straight to the bar where he slammed his big meaty man hands down on the counter.

"Get me three Remote Terminators."

"I-uh, are are you sure Sir?"

"Are you implying THE son of Manda'yaim can't hold his liquor?"

He growled, leaning forward menacingly

"No Sir! Right away!"

The poor bartender began mixing furiously, sweat beading on his brow.

Eventually the guard let her through, and she would immediately find Solan. More importantly, she heard his voice. "...Shut up..." The name calling was getting on her nerves. One of these days Nicole will be powerful enough for Solan to eat those words. She would walk towards him, and sighs softly. "Why did you drag me here?" She is unaware of the adorible child next to Solan.
