  • General behavior: Solitary and suspicious in nature, the Pamarthen Drake typically spends its days flying high over the deep oceans of Pamarth looking for prey or amusing itself teasing wild herds animals or pods of whales. They breed for life but live separately, leaving the chick to fend for itself once it is able to fly. They typically eat large sea animals like large fish or Pamarthen Lions but also require an intake of a certain mineral in order to produce the gas required to breathe fire.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Largely a creature of myth and legend, the Pamarthen Drake was hunted to near extinction thousands of years ago. However due to their slow reproductive cycles and the length of time they lived the Drakes were lost to time, believed by local Pamarthens to be largely extinct save for the occasional ghost story or drunken cantina tale from a hunt on one of the uninhabited islands. Their reputation from the early days of colonization however have remained. They were seen as a foil to the Pamarthen Lion who taught the Pamarthens how to live on the sea. By contrast the Pamarthen Drake taught them to soar the skies and to always have a little fun with the air.
