A simple device which began to circulate the intergalactic market a few years ago, utilizing the natural properties of Palladium to create cold fusion in a small core. It serves as a back-up source of power when one susceptible to EMP damage is taken out of commission. It is best utilized in small equipment and seems to have been primarily intended for cybernetics, having originated from the secret society of cybernetic engineers called Portus Maxima. It may make a great primary power-source for a blaster, but should only be an emergency reserve for something as large as a speeder due to risk of over-exertion and failure. As of the present it is still unclear why Portus Maxima allowed these devices to slip out of their hands and circulate. The motivation behind this decision, if it even was intentional, is not known.
