Due to the service record of the Corellian Corvette, and the Galactic Republic's need for vessels that can stand on par with those produced by the Corellians, the Military commissioned the creation of a vessel that could fill the role of the famous CR90 Corvette. The result was the Paladin-Class Corvette: a vessel slightly larger than the famed Corellian model. The Paladin-Class Corvette is poised to fill the role of a multi-role support vessel, engaging in missions ranging from the basic transportation of goods or diplomats, to escorting military vessels and everything in-between. The Paladin-Class Corvette was expertly designed by the Alderaan Royal Engineers to epitomize everything the Republic still knew about the CR90 and improve upon it. At present, the Paladin-Class Corvette is under mass production and is set to see action in all the Republic's combat ventures.
