Painkiller

Whistling bounced off the cold, stone walls of the abandoned temple. Other than the tapping of the mutated Jawa's feet, this was the only thing one would hear. Suddenly, a loud thud filled the hallways and everything went silent. "Oh, we've got friends?!", an excited, vocoded voice barked, suddenly bursting into laughter. However, the Jawa's eyes suddenly went wide.

Rock began to smash against the floor as the ceiling slowly began to cave in. "Aw...hell.", the Jawa quickly spun around, sprinting down the hallway. The hood of his cloak slowly fell back, revealing his green skin and glowing red eyes.

He swiftly turned the corner, suddenly coming to a halt despite the ceiling collapsing on top of him. The entrance was blocked. Rather than the usual bright, shining rays of sunlight creeping into the hallway it was a pile of stone and debris. Suddenly, a rock fell from the ceiling, striking the Jawa upon the head.

Slowly, his vision faded as he collapsed to the ground, slowly slipping into unconsciousness.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

[member="Crius"] wasn't the only one in this temple. Darth Ferus had a rather large desire for finding out the past, especially with the Sith. It was as if something deep within him wanted to know, to understand. This was almost peaceful to the Sith Lord, if peace wasn't a lie. But such simple and entertaining things such as examining tablets of long lost Sith or finding ancient relics were off the table once the whistling was heard. Curiosity and anger filled the mind of Ferus as he stalked towards its source, thinking it to belong to nothing more than a simple tomb raider.

Before he could find out the ceiling began to collapse however. Both of his red eyes flicked up in annoyance at this fact, and with an audible groan Ferus rushed right for the exit. It was at this point he saw the.. Jawa? Was that thing a Jawa? What ever it was, he watched it get struck in the head with a rock, and the rest of the temple fall. The Sith wasn't in the mood to be crushed to death though, and with a burst of energy he rushed beside this creature and brought both his hands up to stop the falling of the rocks. Once the tuble settled, he began to let it drop, carefully. Sweat was pouring down his brow as he did so, for this application of the Force was not his strong suit. If not for the strenuous usage of the Force however, both he and this Jawa thing would have certainly been crushed.

Another scuffle of rocks sounded as the Sith sat, or dropped rather, onto the ground, breathing heavily. Eventually he would regain his breath, and cast a glance over to his cave in friend. 'Friend'. Ferus kept him alive just in case he could be useful, but if not the creature could at least be entertaining to kill before Ferus found a way out. "Oi, get up."

The Jawa's eyes slowly began to open. His heart was nearly bursting out of his damn chest. Coughing loudly, he slowly pulled himself to his feet, shaking his head. He slowly glanced up at the man, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dim light. Coughing once more, he quickly bowed before suddenly bursting into laughter. "Ah! A friend!?", the Jawa's artificial vocoded voice high-pitched and Jester-like. "Dear Cirium gets mighty lonely...Ah, no place to sharpen my blade around here, ah!?".

The Jawa attempted to speak but was unable to even mutter a sing word before he began cackling, his mad laughter bouncing off the walls of the hallway. Once again, he bowed before quickly cracking his neck. "Ah, I apologize! I am Cirium! Though if you wish to be slightly more...dramatic you could go with 'Master of Shadows', but that is hardly necessary!", the Jawa quickly took a step back, allowing the man to respond.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"You're an odd little fellow, 'Master of Shadows.' " It was all the Sith could say as he listened to [member="Crius"] . Sharpening a blade at this time? Well, the Dark does weird things to it's many children. So he didn't think too much on the.. Jawas, many laughing fit and many other oddities. His red eyes glazed out to the caved in wall. They were stuck, and Ferus wasn't sure how far in they were to begin with.

"You any good with the Force or something? I'd like to get out, preferably sooner than later."

His eyes went wide as a huge, sadistic grin spread across his face. "Fooorce? Noooo, can't say that I am. While I do dabble in it from time to time!", the creature quickly nodded, turning towards the exit. "May I ask, could you identify yourself?! Cirium enjoys company!", the Jawa chuckled loudly, slowly walking over to the exit, shaking his head in disbelief and panic.

"Cicero gets incredibly worried in situations like this!", he muttered accompanied with nervous laughter.

(Sorry for the short post!)

"You're not the only one worried @Cicero . I imagine it won't take much longer till we run out of air to breath. If you dabble in the Force, now is the time to really focus on it. Think of this like a free lesson, eh?" The Sith Lord brought up both of his hands then, letting the Force swell around his palms. "Reach into the Force, and compress it's energies into your palms. Then wait for my command, alright? Once I say so, unleash it. We should be able to blast through the wall." All the while he spoke Ferus kept his eyes forward, his red gaze focused entirely on the fallen rock wall. There wasn't much time left to do anything else.

Cirius's eyes went wide in disbelief. "I...You expect me to do this!?", the Jawa burst into laughter and slowly spun around, focusing his abilities, slowly preparing for the Sith Lord to give the command. Honestly, Cirius had very little fate that this would work. While he had seen the force in action, he was very, very ignorant on the subject. However, the Jawa was too busy cackling like a lunatic to even attempt to protest the man's decision.

The Jawa kept his hands steady as he was clearly shaking...due to the laughter. The Jawa seemed to disregard the falling debris and the possibility of death. "WHO ARE YOU?!", the Jawa shouted once again. "CIRIUS WISHES TO KNOW!".

The Jawa was glancing back and forth, a huge sadistic grin spread upon his face as he waited for the Sith Lord's command.

"Help me get us out of here, and I'll tell you my name. Now, release!" He practically roared over the falling debris. Time was up, and he wasn't about waste anymore time trying to explain things to [member="Crius"] . Either the mutant would understand and do as he was told, or the pair would die. Success or Death, fitting lesson. Wouldn't [member="Darth Ophidia"] get a laugh out of this. With a resounding roar the Sith let loose everything he had in him. All his pain, suffering, anger, all of it was let loose. His red eyes flared as the Dark coursed through him, and lighting wrenched from his fingers.

A clap of thunder sounded off over the crumbling temple with a deafening roar, and the bright light that followed slammed into the nearby cave in. All around the Sith the ground was scorched, and more importantly the rocks that blocked the entrance were shattered. The sheer force behind the lightning blast broke apart the rocks, but they were still there. It was all up to Crius now. If he could unleash a blast strong enough to blow the pebbles away, they'd be free.

The Jawa burst into absolute cackle as he raised his hands, struggling to keep them raised in his fit of laughter. Suddenly, the Jawa came to a pause despite the crumbling rocks and debris that rained down upon him. He held his arms steady as he seemed to concentrate on the matter at hands, standing in complete silence. The Jawa suddenly released a force blast, scattering the remaining rocks in all directions yet clearing the exit.

The blast was incredibly weak compared to the Darth Lord's but what the hell. It worked, right? The Jawa, without saying a single word began to sprint towards the exit, completely ignoring any word [member="Darth Ferus"] had to say. The Jawa's only desire was leaving this ancient hellhole and that he did as he stepped through the exit and felt the blistering sun shining down upon him. He broke into laughter as he sprinted down the remaining steps, coming to a complete stop at the bottom of the temple.

(Sorry for the long delay!)

Ferus was right behind [member="Crius"] , running down the stairs to get out of this damned place. At the bottom he would stop, doubling over to catch his breath. This wasn't exactly his favorite situation, but he and this mutant survived it. Red eyes glanced over to the little being, flashing with enjoyment. He had done well, and it was thanks to him they both were alive. That was enough to forgive his intrusion on the Sith tomb.

"My name is Darth Ferus."
