Pain is a understatement. Mandos & Pubs vs One Sith [Temple of Pain]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8q8fFs3kTM
Location: Temple of Pain
..2 Hours Earlier...
The Temple of Pain was just beginning to shine. Many Sith were starting to suddenly realize how important such a place was and how much could be discovered. The call of knowledge was too great to ignore and so the eager, curious and arrogant flocked to such a location. From the Beginning one such Sith Knight began to use the Temple in ways it was meant to be used, Through excessive study. Within the Eternal Library this Knight dwelled the majority of the time.

Slowly closing a book Nulgath nodded in thought and adjusted his Armored robes with a simple pull. His belt shook slightly revealing a Verpine Pistol and Verpine energy shield harnessed in place. The right comfortably rested his Shoto saber, a weapon he rarely used but always kept on his person. With a slow glance around the libraries his thoughts grew dark as he noted more and more Acolytes were beginning to use such a place. Rising up and placing a book back in its proper place, Mudrac gripped the book tight as if he was says good bye.

Anger and sadness was him.
" You will be missed." he muttered to himself with a sinister grin. Quickly he turned around and left the library and directed himself to the halls of sorrow. As he traveled the Epicanthix fiddled with his datapad, Months of living at the Temple was not in vain. The Layout of the Temple of Pain glew before him and suddenly was sent away before his eyes to a familiar name. Mr. Malice. Or atleast that was his infamously know alias. Wiping the data on the data pad and shocking it with force lightning Nulgath smiled some as he gaze fell on a specific single male Acolyte. The boys pattern of training was very casual and with so much information gathered about his daily tasks and routine, now was the time to act. He would not be missed

Approaching the boy Darth Mudrac tapped his shoulder and spoke rather softly. " I have heard of you, your skills are great but you have yet to prove that you are truly Sith!" The epicanthixs Domineering gazing grew stronger piercing into the boys mind leaving him to fall into a trance. Qazoi Kyantuska. The Knights words grew very persuasive. " Go prove your worth in this Temple." he muttered and patted his back. The Boy nodded and began to leave by turning around heading down the hall.

Blaster fire and Saber marks littered the control room within the Temple of Pain. A crowd grew by the door of the control room as the hum of a active lightsaber remained inside the room. Security gathered by the door along with Sith of all sorts. Walking from down the hall Nulgath joined the crowd with the head ache of the century. The Epicanthix was in pain holding his head till finally a single blaster bolt from inside the Control room was fired, mysteriously and suddenly the head pain cleared and Nulgaths hand fell to his side. The security droids finally opened the door revealing the boy Nulgath talked to earlier dead with a blaster wound in the head. The control terminal was fried, cameras destroyed and droid parts littered the area.

Taking a deep breath the Knight rolled his eyes and wiped blood from his nose that came from a mental sort of strain. The crowds began to die off with the talk of a traitor getting what they deserved, most believed the worse of over. It was far from over! A single message was sent to a [member="Taeli Raaf"] explaining the situation but by the time the Sith technicians would repair the terminal and discover this it would be too late.

...The Present...
Returning to the Eternal Library, Darth Mudrac kneeled and began to meditate. All was going as he had planned, The Temple would soon fall and the secrets of old would return to their tombs to be discovered by the worthy. Within hours a strike team would arrive and the Temple of pain would very soon become a battlefield. Chuckling to himself the Knight waiting patiently in the rooms silence.

The masquerading was done, The true intent would soon come.

A growl emitted as "Mr. Malice" received such a message. Descending into the atmosphere of the planet below with his Vod [member="Vilaz Munin"], [member="Aedan Miles"] and [member="Naimes Ahn-Dross"]. Kezeroth quickly hailed the other group of ships that gathered for this attack. Speaking into the comm connected to both Mandalorian and Republic allies and he said " Now is the time to strike! Im not gonna give you all a proper speech to boost your karking minds or whatever. I shouldn't need too, our enemy is the Sith so set your mando hate or republic hate aside for today and spill some blood!" The gen'dai nodded and continued. " The first target is the Shield generators according to the layout! That is the first and main target when we arrive, No splitting off! No nothin! Hit the shield generator hard and fast from their I dont care what you do!" Kezeroth scorned and began to prepare himself for combat. For now he was done talking, if there was questions then those would get answered later.

Spending some length of time in the ship armory the Gen'dai finally exited the room decked with chosen weapons. Firstly there was his Armor which was always a must in every situation that was adorned with 2 ammo and grenade filled bandoliers. Bone Crusher rested on his backplate ready and charged, Lightclub clipped to his belt, DL-44 Blaster in holster and LJ-50 Concussion Rifle in hand, Kezeroth was armed and ready to start the day out right.

Sifa was unaware of the impending attack, she was unaware of such things actually being capable of happening here. She assumed that the Temples of the One Sith were safe, she assumed that she would be okay, she never thought even for a moment that in just a few minutes she would be fighting for her life.

Within her ignorance, she learned.

The Temple of Pain was...interesting, to say the least.

Sifa had been a Jedi for nearly twenty seven years. She had served the Order every day of her life and had visited many temples and many worlds. This place however, it was unique. Perhaps not to Sith Temples, but certainly compared to the temple on Coruscant. Her lips were thin as she studied the odd statues that lined some of the halls, her eyes wandered from face to face. She had no need to feign ignorance of who they were, no need to act like she did not know.

She truly didn't. They had been taught about the Sith in the Order, but they had never gone in-depth on the individual Sith themselves, at least no in Sifa's training. Perhaps that was because they did not want to glorify them, or perhaps it was because they were simply ignorant. She didn't much care either way, but she knew that here, in this place she had something to learn.

At least until she was given more freedom to do as she pleased.

KARK! A common word in Lord Sebastian's mind lately. He had recently come to the temple a few weeks ago for training with [member="Sage Bane"]. Since then, he had delved into books after books on the matter of shards. He wanted an army, an army not of flesh and bone only and not of droid, but something more fitting. Before him on a table was an empty crystal. Studying it and his books he was trying to make a Shard to his utter failure.

Then there was that infernal racket that had recently started. He ignored it, as usual. Sith business or not, his studies into the Dark Side was more important than trivial things. It was then a knock came at the door and a droid entered telling him they had a security breach. Without looking his mind grasped and shattered the droid; useless things, interrupting him. It wasn't until he saw on a datapad that the breach was a message. A message sent to none other than [member="Taeli Raaf"]. He set down his work and looked at it directly. His enemy, he had sworn to capture her, but the elusive creature had proved a formidable rival and had gotten away freely.

He pushed back his chair and slowly stood summoning his cane to his right hand. He sighed, today was going to be a good day.

[SIZE=10pt]Khallesh did her very best to stay alert during the tour. She had been picked to join the honour guard for an entourage of shapers who were meeting at the Sith Temple of Pain. What a ridiculous name, Khallesh thought to herself. She had been here all day and had seen no evidence of “pain” being used as part of the teaching. Just books and research and…she jerked her head upright quickly, trying not to doze off. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]In contrast to the commander, Master Shaper Jun Phaarth could barely contain her excitement. This little knowledge sharing exercise between alchemists and shapers was apparently “breaking down barriers” and “potentially the biggest breakthrough in advancing the cortex’s in a millennia”. Khallesh thought that for something so controversial, the day had been distinctly dull. The little honour guard was here for little more than show, the Sith guarded this place with their own version of Jeedai as well as a host of infidel machines. As Jun Paarth had said quite clearly: “This is a temple for training alchemy, not martial endevours. Please don’t pick a fight with anyone, or attempt to engage anyone in sparring.”[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Wasted opportunity as far as Khallesh was concerned. She had so few opportunities to test herself against the Jeedai. [/SIZE]

The water cascading onto him felt great as it washed away the stiffness and exhaustion of the day. Like most day's he had started with a regiment of physical training followed by practicing his lightsaber forms and then he had spent the rest of the day buried under mountains of books in the eternal Library. He had heard that Yuuzhan vong would be visiting the temple and had avoided them, not out of any disgust or mistrust for the species but simply due to the fact that they were force dead he had never seen one, even if one stood directly in front of him, he'd never see the individual unless they allowed him to pour a bit of the force into their being so he could see them for a few minutes.
"Ir mazo tave diena tapti' kia jri qorit" He sighed as he turned his head upwards and opened his useless physical eyes and let the water pour over his face. He had been advancing his knowledge of the sith language during the two day's he'd been in the temple as well as preparing to take on an apprentice of his own. Part of him wondered if he'd train his apprentice the same way his master had trained him, the thought made him chuckle a little.
After he had finished trying off and gotten dressed he combed his hair back as he then tied a traditional Miralukan blindfold over his eyes, with his amulet over his neck, inside his robes, and his crossguard lightsaber at his hip he left the room only to nearly bump into a droid holding a datapad in it's hand. As the droid handed him the datapad and he had washed it in the force to read through it he growled a little as he turned his head towards the droid. "J'us buti scarp" He said as he used the force to embed the datapad into the droids chest.

He hurried down the corridors and hallways until he reached the hallway and without his knowledge he ran straight into someone, coming at them from the side. "Ow... what did I hit?" He half asked himself as he got up and under his hand he felt a shoulder but he didn't see anything. With an expression that showed disappointment in himself he sighed. "You are part of the Yuuzhan Vong delegation aren't you?" He asked as he stood up and looked around himself and saw only a single representative tour guide gripping his hair with a panicked expression on his face.
With an outstretched hand to [member="Khallesh "], who he had inadvertently hit he gestured to help her up if she so wished. "I'm sorry I literately didn't see you there, your species is dead in the force and that is how I see." He said explaining as he apologized to the Huntress, the reason for his hurry completely slipping his mind at the moment, mostly due to embarrassment.

Translations of the sith language he spoke
Ir mazo tave diena tapti' kia jri qorit «And so the day comes to an end»
J'us buti scarp «You are scarp»

The Temple of Pain was fast becoming a crown jewel of Fresia, at least in Sage Bane’s mind. After all, the temple was Sage’s brainchild. He was the Vong-formed Sith Lord who, inspired to bring about a golden age of Sith magic, oversaw its construction down to the very last stone. The Temple would be a glorious bastion of Sith Alchemy and Sorcery, accessible to all Sith students from Apprentice to Master. Its reliquary would contain powerful artifacts to keep Sith history preserved and studied. Monsters would be birthed in its laboratories. Arcane knowledge would flow through the Temple like the power of the Dark Side, and secrets, formerly hidden away in ancient scrolls and tomes would be revealed to those who proved worthy enough to discover them.

Sage was aware that the Temple had its detractors. There was loose talk around Coruscant that the Temple’s doors were too open. There were some who said that esoteric knowledge should not be spread so widely, lest the power end up in the hands of fools. In Sage’s opinion, the Force had a way of weeding out the stupid. Over his bloody dead body would he let idle chatter stop the enlightenment of his students.

Understandably, the Sith Lord was extremely protective of his precious, and therefore in tune to every tremor in the Force that permeated the various halls. Today, there was a disturbance so severe it was almost paroxysmic in its violence. His eyes flashing blood red, Sage looked up from his work, his midichlorian manipulation of a bound Gran. Something was not-quite-right at the Temple of Pain.

"Echuta!" he cursed as he slammed down his scalpel.

He gathered the Dark Side around him like a mist and began to prowl the Hall of Sorrow. If there was something or someone who sought to destroy this gift that he had given Fresia, by the Maker, Sage would raise up a legion of dead from the very earth in which they slept to defend his sacred place.

..."Affirmative."...was the nondescript confirmation that the Rally Master responded with upon hearing the message from Kerzeroth over his comms. In the confines of a Drop Pod that was waiting to launch Naimes sat dressed in his Beskar'gam with Longtooth affixed securely over his back, the hilt of the sword extending up over his right shoulder ready to be taken in the capable hold of its owner. Across his lap Naimes kept a Kath Hound Shotgun for close encounters during combat and an assortment of small grenades that complimented his personal combat style. Today his Beskar'gam had also been outfitted with a Jet Pack to assist him in moving around the battlefield. Reclining back in the seat he'd taken inside the drop pod he did a last minute system check ensuring that his helmet package was fully operational then he relaxed...

...raising his right hand he placed it over his chest, felt the Naat Naa'taylir Talisman he wore and opened his mind to a sudden rush of clarity, serenity and calming thoughts despite the fact he was about to descend onto the surface of a hostile world and engage the enemy in battle. Next time he might need to bring [member="Cennika Hawk"] with him. Adjusting in his seat he'd have accessed local comms to state...
"Allow the light of righteousness to show us the path and burn away the darkness that colors this world."...to call Naimes religious would have been incorrect however he was a spiritual individual there was no arguing that. Moving his hand over to a console Naimes typed in the code that would all the Drop Pod to disengage from the ship and rocket towards Fresia via the upper atmosphere...

...the countdown...5...4...3...2...1...

...and the the sound of magnetic locks disengaging before the Drop Pod shot towards the surface of the planet bolstered by the high powered engines that drove it planetside. Breathing deeply as he felt the change in gravitational pull after the Drop Pod had engaged Naimes would close his eyes behind the cover of his helm knowing that the sensors in the pod would alert him before breaking thrusters engaged and the vessel of his deliverance set down on the surface of Fresia...

The Blood Lake.

More or less the Sith's own name for his creation, but the galaxies largest Alchemic Basin resided right in front of him. He was again away from the Temple of pain, and given the sheer size of this lake, it could be a mile, maybe two. He was sitting there, both hands beside him. A dagger rested before him. His lightsaber to his left. His iridonian slug thrower to his right. His hidden blade on his wrist. The man was here minimally armed and armored for the soul purpose of exploring his limits with the basin before him. Once, he had become, not made, a giant monster. Such a feat was something he wanted to replicate.

Though, it did have it's limitations. Namely, he had to be in the basin itself. That would be a challenge he'd have to work around at a later date. For now, he needed to remember how he became the beast the last time. Ho hum. This was beginning to get boring. With a dull expression he'd look over the blood, boredom clearly setting in.

Would things get interesting soon?

Sweet, sweet return. She had known the Sith when she had looked through the eyes of the One Sith's voice, watched them work with concerted effort to structure themselves into a hypocritical group that told their civilians that they fought for their freedom, projected false media that hailed the Sith as heroes - as though fifteen thousand years of history was simply to be wiped away by the One Sith overlords. It was brilliant, of course, an absolute masterpiece of manipulated propaganda, of military might, and secret removals of those who spoke out. But even still, these people clamored for the destruction of the Jedi, and unfortunately for these Sith that was simply not an option for Braith - nor was she willing to sit back and simply play girlfriend at the home she had not even yet settled in. So, when Corvus had made some remark of being unable to make her own way out to the planet of Fresia with the group of insurgents that had received crucial information that would lead them into the place known as 'the Temple of Pain', due to some silly rule her council had created barring them from cooperating with any dark side affiliated Jedi or Sith, the notion of her arriving in the Grandmaster's stead was immediately in the ancient goddess' circle of thoughts. Granted, she hadn't expected to have been dropped out of the sky in a rather cramped, small, contraption such as the drop pod that she rode down in. Her presence on the planet had gone with very little discussion between herself and Corvus, she wasn't quite certain if she had approved or not actually, but if these people were causing problems for the woman that had set her free after all of these millennia it was only fair that she partially repay her debt by toiling in her own sweat and blood to crush the vermin that bred through the galaxy like a plague - allies to the Primeval that occupied her own planet or not.

While the sound of the metal egg-like pod dropping from just outside of the atmosphere was kept relatively quiet by the dampeners placed within the frame, the feeling of falling so far and so quickly was wreaking havoc on her gut and psyche. Being that she lived in an era on a primitive planet where she had lived in an open cave with access to a tribe that was spread across a large valley with loose settlements and no such constructs such as 'drop pods' and cramped starfighters in sight, Braith had never quite gotten to experience claustrophobia or even be put in such tight quarters to know that she had such fears - to her knowledge, until now, she had never once been quite afraid of anything except that she might have been lost to the galaxy during her slumber. So the fact that this incredibly tight fit, even for someone who was relatively of average height for a human - of which she was not - made the issue of her free-falling straight down into a relatively unfamiliar terrain on a hostile world with the chance that the pod might just crumple like tinfoil on contact all the much more horrifying to her. Of course, the woman wasn't crying or anything, but the sharp intakes of breath and the quick pace of her heart were the only noises that really filled her ears, and the way she stood so still and rigid in her suit of armor with her grip ridiculously tight on the shaft of her spear would have only cemented the relative unease in the woman as she plummeted to the planet's surface.

And then it happened.

An extremely loud "bang" and the pod was literally turning end-over-end across the sky and away from its intended trajectory, flying directly towards a region just south of the Temple, likely screaming her arrival to the world like nothing else could.

And then the sudden explosive force that shook her to the core and knocked her face against the wall of her pod, her lower lip cut against the face-plate of her helmet and immediately trickling blood down her chin. Though she was dazed, she knew she had at least survived the landing. Surprisingly the pod had retained its interior form, but rather unsurprisingly the emergency eject button had failed to do anything.

It appeared she would have to force her way out.

It was clear that something was happening, something unpleasant.

The Temple Ground seemed to shake, and a feeling in the back of her head began to push pinpricks into her skin. She shivered, turning away from the statue and wrenching her eyes towards somethign else within the room. Her gaze latched onto one of the the Guards that sprinted down the hall, his steps fast and almost a blink. he rushed towards Sifa as fast as he could, caught quickly by her agile hand gripping his arm.

"What's going on?" She demanded from him, the authority in her voice stopping the man in his tracks.

"The Temple is under attack."

Sifa's eyes grew wide, then almost immediately narrowed. "Attack? By Who?"

The man tore Sifa's grip from his arm, shrugging as he turned and began to run down the hall. The Botanist frowned slightly, her lips thinning as her hand wandered to her side, gently thumbing the hilt of her lightsaber. A loud sigh escaped her lips, head shaking as she began to follow after the man.

“Don’t you mean ‘by whom’?” asked Khallesh earnestly, appearing with two Yuuzhan Vong Hunters at her back. She despised having to sully her tongue with the infidel language. However, it was of even greater annoyance to the hardened warrior that after spending so many months learning to speak their language correctly, that so few inhabitants of the galaxy actually used it in the documented formal manner.

At least there was the prospect of violence now. Another few minutes of listening to shapers and alchemists discussing how to harden the structure of ceramics and she would have removed her own arm just to fend off the boredom.

There were thuds in the distance that sounded suspiciously like weapons being fired. Several bright streaks lanced across the air. Khallesh fell into step behind the guard and the tiny pale human girl. She assumed that if there was going to be violence, they would be heading towards it.

Her eyebrow perked at the Yuuzhan Vong Female who fell into step beside her. Sifa had never known the womans species to be particular articulate, or intelligent for that matter. Granted she had limited experience with the Yuuzhan Vong, but to have her grammar corrected by one was an entirely unexpected happenstance that she wasn't quite comfortable with.

Maybe because even when the creatures spoke galactic basic it still sounded like someone was scraping their tongues with a knife.

Positively guttural.

"Yes." She begrudgingly admitted to the monster beside her as they wandered together towards the temples entrance. "You'll have to forgive me, miss...?

Sifa left a blank for the Vong to fill in her own name, or leave it empty. She had no idea how their culture handled names, nor did she know exactly if she was supposed to ask. Yet she figured at this point in time it didn't really matter, the two of them were about to fight together, or at least in each others vicinity. She supposed that warranted a name.

Animus had just arrived for the first time in the Temple of Pain... a Temple who by all accounts was barred from entry to many people, including Animus. However... Animus did not necessarily care for One Sith Protocol, especially when it was not convenient to him. They dare Bar the Chosen one from a place of knowledge? Little did their defenses help them. Animus was a Sith Assassin, few places were well defended enough to bar him out, this was not one of them.

For Hours he scoured the place for books and tomes of ancient knowledge, his objective: The Tales and Legends of King Adas and the Prophecy of the Sith'ari. Animus had found the tomes in question upon mere Hours of arriving, however... Just his luck, the Temple was under attack.

Animus walked beside [member="Sifa Tirel"] and [member="Khallesh"] waving them off holding both Tomes in his bag as he made his way out. "Can we hold off on the pleasantries? i believe we have Visitors. " Animus dashed to the outside to meet with any enemies he could, He had no idea who or what was attacking the Temple... but he would be dammed if he stood by and saw it destroyed before he could train and get knowledge from it.

"Let them come... and die by our hands!" Animus was outside and nearing the defenses, soldiers and temple guards swarmed around as Animus gestured them to prepare the defenses of the place. "Protect the shield generators at all costs!!" His lightsaber in his hand and his mind in the battle, Animus was itching for a good fight for months... Now... He was finally going to get a piece of the War effort.

A Jedi among Mandalorians, he had forgotten how brave these men and women were and how readily they faced a fight. Home, in another Galaxy far far away the Sith had all but wiped out the Mandalorians and the few that remained were invaluable to the Republic war effort. Now he fought alongside them to strike a blow against the Sith, his and every Jedi's mortal enemy.

The locks on his drop pod disengaged, sending him down to the temple below...

I realized that this war cant be one by siting on our backsides and letting the side slaughter us across the galaxy. We needed to strike back and fight because if we don't we are facing another purge on our hands. The Mandalorians made the plan and gave us the objective and trust me, I would follow it. I have faced powerful Sith in the past and barely survived but I have grown and trained since then so things will go differently this time.

As the ship approached it destination I concentrated on the light-side of the force and its properties. There were other Jedi around me not saying a word but I knew what they thought. That the force will protect us all.

*Bang* A loud pop of a nice sounded from above. Those looking up would only see a Large Escape pod armored to take a hit and soaring. Dirt and trees shook as the pod landed. The crater of fresh dirt was refreshing to feel with armored boots. Stepping out in full the Gen'dai pulled out a flare pistol, aiming directly up he pulled the trigger signaling where the others show come if they wanted some act right away. Tossing the Flare gun to the side Kezeroth took up his LJ-50 Concussion Rifle and began to move out. " Move on me!" He commanded through the comms, With a growl he cleared his throat and shouted...

Hovering toward the Temple at a good speed with his jetpack, the Giant Mandalorian Rally Master found himself very eager to carry out this mission with success. In his past the Sith always loved their secrets and if the idea of their secerts being destroyed hurt, Then Kezeroth began to wonder how the real thing would feel in contrast.

" They look so happy to see me..." He muttered as he suddenly turned off his jetpack and began to sprint toward the Temple. His eyes were fixed on the Objective ahead, The closer he got the more it seemed his raw darkside aura could be felt.

It had been a while since Vilaz and the Mando'ade crossed the One Sith borders and plunder their worlds. The last time the clans had formed and execute an offensive operation against the Sith which, unfortunately, failed at Empress Teta. Since then both factions had an unofficial ceasefire as none waged another battle after the aftermath of Teta. The One Sith continued using their resources against the Republic and the Mandalorians returned to their goals. However, after the the events of the Netherworld and the return of Akala the Sith used the advantage to deploy a strike team on Mandalore as most of the Mandalorians focused on the Primeval threat north of them. Vilaz and his brothers and sisters never forget attacks directed to them and they never forgave their attackers. They would pay an unwelcome visit to the Sith soon. Finally, that day arrived but that message would be delivered by four Mandalorian Warriors and the Republic.

The Republic forces outnumbered the four Mandalorians, but they wouldn't try anything smart. Especially, when Kezeroth was among them. He was a force to be reckoned with as well as Vilaz, Naimes, and Aedan. Though, the Gen'dai could bring death and havoc at a much faster pace then Naimes, Aedan, and Vilaz combined. Even Vilaz didn't want to have a brawl with this Titan.

Orders were given by the Gen'dai Mandalorian to both his Vode and the Republic forces and once they knew their first objective on this mission they immediately went to the nearest drop pod. No drop ship would be their vehicle today since it wasn't as fast as a speeding drop pod. The Redneck did what the others did and waited with impatience for the pod to disengage. The countdown sequence began on the number five and continued down until it said the word "zero". The launch was exhilarating, yet short when there was a sudden stop and shake signaling the Rally Master he had arrived planet side. Dual WESTAR 34 pistols were drawn out once he was out on the pod and into the landscape serving a major site for the Sith. A flare was shot out in the air showing where the Titan of Kezeroth was and then came the clear order of rallying to him. The Rally Master complied to this order as it was best to be with this raging beast just to cause more damage than spreading out.

Let's see if these di'kuts got something new to show me."
